ELSEWHERE by the SEA is a stunning beachfront villa in the upscale gated community of Lagoons, just 20 minutes from the Montego Bay international airport. The beach, pool and expansive outdoor living area make it the perfect location to celebrate a special occasion, gather for a family holiday or indulge in an adult getaway.

5 beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with a private bath, sleep up to 12 guests. Four King bedrooms and one bedroom with a pair of twins (that can be made into a king) comfortably sleep five couples. An additional bunk bed in the twin room can accommodate two additional children or teenagers.

The home is complemented by a large veranda and bar area, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets over the Caribbean Sea while sipping a frosty cocktail. Continue your evening with a special dinner prepared by your private chef and served on the breezy veranda, the sandy beach or the dock with the water glistening around you. A magical evening!

The private pool features a Baja deck for tanning and an infinity edge that blends seamlessly into the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The pool deck provides access to a lovely beach that is suitable for watersport activities and comes with complimentary kayaks and paddleboards.

Elsewhere is located in a protected sanctuary with abundant marine life right off the dock. Explore the waters surrounding Elsewhere with our newest addition to the property, Anywhere, a 26 ft power catamaran perfect for sunset cruises, snorkeling trips or a tour of Montego Bay with a stop at Doctor's Cave beach or Margaritaville. A complimentary sunset cruise or reef snorkeling trip with our captain is included for all rentals of seven days or more. Additional trips can be arrange with the captain at a reduced price.

For swimming in the sea, we recommend a short boat or car ride to Doctors Cave Beach or a short walk to the private residence beach (formerly Hard Rock Beach Club).

In addition to your private villa, guests have access to the amenities of the Lagoons including a playground and tennis courts. Within minutes of the villa is the Montego Bay Yacht Club, the Houseboat Restaurant, and the private residents beach (near the former Hard Rock Cafe Beach Club). You will be a few minutes from five top notch golf courses and all that Montego Bay has to offer!

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I recently spent my wife’s birthday at Elsewhere. It was our third time visiting and it was absolutely wonderful! The only negative thing was we learned that Ms. Dolores had retired. She was a very hard working and caring person that made sure everything was in order and everyone was comfortable. The team at Elsewhere is just awesome!! They made my family’s experience totally wonderful!! We will definitely be back again.

Jamaica at Elsewhere

It is always nice to vacation with my family. The staff made us feel like we were visiting relatives from the moment we entered ELSEWHERE. The warmth, the smiles, the attentiveness was like a warm hug and a welcome back. The food was delicious and an amazing combination of Jamaican cuisine, mouthwatering flavor, and culinary comfort. We were always excited for mealtime.Rafic’s was like an angel from day one. His professionalism and attention to detail was top tier and his warmth and friendliness made him feel like the favorite uncle to all our family. Nothing we asked seemed too much. And he always made sure our needs were met. Maureen kept everything tidy and was gracious and accommodating. She was kind, patient and took care everything we needed. Kemoy was a gracious and accommodating host. Never had to ask for anything because he was always two steps ahead of us. The sunset boat ride was amazing and so much fun. It was the perfect close to the day. He always followed up with us each day to make sure we were happy and enjoying our stay. He provided information on activities and made sure we had everything needed to make this events happen. The Elsewhere experience had exceeded anything I could have imagined. I cannot thank the staff enough the care and attention shown to my family. It meant the world to me and my family and it will never be forgotten. Until we meet again...

Outstanding, in every way

Elsewhere is the Best! I was a little skeptical of a staffed house. I thought having extra people around would be a negative. Boy, was I wrong. The staff (Kassandra, Kemoy, Maureen, and Rafiq) were absolutely fabulous. The food Kassandra prepared was some of the best I've ever had. All of the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and just wonderful people. The house is great, too. We were there with four kids ages 4, 2, 2, and 1. We spent almost all of our time in the pool or on the private beach right next to the pool (or eating the wonderful food, or drinking the great frozen drinks made by Rafiq, or on the boat with Kemoy). The pool layout is great, with a very shallow end and a nice ledge all around. Again, perfect for the little ones. The house is exactly as pictured. Plenty of places to sit and spread out, so none of the 12 of us there felt like we were on top of each other. Plus Maureen does your laundry every day! It was so nice to get back home after a week of vacation with everything already washed! Oh ... and there is a nice playground for the little ones just a two-minute walk from the house. The house is at the end of a gated street - very quiet, peaceful and safe. The place truly is perfect, and we can't wait to go back again - we're already looking at dates for the next visit!

Incredible family vacation

Our family had an amazing time at elsewhere and couldn't have asked for anything better. Kemoy was an amazing jack of all trades, bartender, boat captain and helped us organize all of our excursions. Kass is a phenomenal chef, every meal better than the next. Rafik kept the property spotless and the beach pristine. Maureen kept all of our rooms tidied and laundry done and ironed. We had a fantastic relaxing week and wish we could live like this all the time. We hope to come back sometime soon!

Great Family vacation

We spent a week w children, spouses and 3 grandchildren under 3. All of us are well traveled. Things couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone had their space, and adapted to everything in a few hours. Food was great Kassandra’s food was well prepared, flavorful and catered to everyone’s taste.Including the babies and toddler. Kemoy was great in taking care of the 10 of us, from meal service, to bartending to taking us out on the boat. The rest of staff was cordial and friendly. Except for a day of snorkeling and some going scuba diving, we never left the property There’s not much to improve upon

Amazing stay

Wonderful stay at this house. Staff was amazing, food was delicious and bartenders made tasty drinks! Grounds were well maintained and kayaks were a nice way to start each morning. We will definitely be back!

The most incredible stay!!!!!

Our group of 12 (3 families with 6 adults and 6 kids all under the age of 7) just had the most incredible week at Elsewhere and we are already talking about the next time we will be coming back again. It had everything and more you could want! The kids swam for hours in the pool and at the beach, paddle boarded, kayaked, built sand castles, searched for starfish, conch shells, crabs and more. We took the boat out for sunset 2 times while we were there and then again for a snorkel trip which was amazing. The team is really special and they all worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed and to make our trip so memorable. Kassandra made the most amazing meals everyday and incredible spreads for breakfast which we all really enjoyed when we woke up each morning. Her desserts were amazing and the kids looked forward to them each day. She prepared such a variety of foods and made sure the kids had their favorites and plenty of snacks too while also serving local dishes which we loved! She took all of our food preferences to heart and you could tell how hard she works to make special meals for her guests. Maureen kept everything so tidy around the house and even cleaned clothes which made coming back so nice and easy to unpack. She was wonderful and so kind. Rafic does all of the gardening and tidying of the beach and lawn which is immaculate and so beautifully done. The lawn is a tropical paradise and he made sure the beach was in pristine conditions always raking it and keeping it clean. He also helped with meal service and was always so kind. Kemoy really helped make our stay so special and took care of everything we needed and our daily activities which included things like boat trips, massages, airport transfers, golf and more. He made wonderful drinks for the adults and always whipped up smoothies and milkshakes for the kids. He really does it all! The house manager Sarah is also a gem and she helped line up so many activities for us prior to our arrival and answer questions we had prior to arrival as well as during our stay. Having all of the team included in your stay to help make your trip extra special is something that is rare and really sets this property a party from other places we’ve stayed before. If you are considering Elsewhere, you should absolutely come and experience it for yourself!!! The reviews are so true and the pictures don’t even begin to do this place justice. It’s even better than described or pictured. It was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever had.

Paradise by the Sea!

Our stay at Elsewhere by the Sea exceeded all expectations. From the seamless communication before our arrival to the warm welcome from the staff, everything was perfectly orchestrated to set the tone for a week in paradise. Kemoy went above and beyond to arrange all our activities with top-notch guides, ensuring everything ran smoothly while we fully embraced the "Island Time" mindset. As our snorkeling captain and guide, he made every excursion unforgettable. Rafic kept the grounds pristine, ensuring every amenity was always ready for us. His incredible cocktails were an added bonus! Maureen worked quietly behind the scenes, keeping our rooms and outdoor spaces immaculate—so much so that it felt like we had never left a mess behind. Having our laundry done during the trip was an unexpected luxury, and returning home to no laundry was truly a treat. And then there was Kassandra—her incredible talent in the kitchen is something we won’t soon forget. Every meal felt like the best we’ve ever had, and I highly recommend packing elastic-waistband clothing for a stay at Elsewhere! Being able to spend quality time together without any responsibilities was priceless. I can’t wait to return to this beautiful property and share it with the next generation of our family.

Absolutely amazing villa in perfect location

Elsewhere by the Sea was phenomenal in every way. We had a group of 7 women on a girls trip and the staff catered to our every need. The location is beautiful, surrounded by water and located in a very safe gated community. Kayaks and paddle boards were available at any time and the boat on the property was perfect for the 7 of us. Cassandra made us appetizers and Kemoy filled a cooler and continued to pour amazing drinks while we watched the sunset. We gave carte Blanche to Cassandra and she most definitely didn’t disappoint! The breakfast spread every morning was amazing and the dinners had such variety and were all so tasty from lobster to jerk chicken, barbarcued ribs, curry chicken … we were never hungry! Kemoy served us drinks by the pool, and kept the drinks coming all day long. Maureen did our laundry everyday, kept our rooms spotless and all the staff had a huge smile on their face at all times. I can’t recommend this villa more! We will be back!

We had the best vacation anyone could wish for~

The property is simply beautiful, from the gorgeous outdoor space overlooking the lagoon and the lovely pool, to each and every bedroom and bathroom and all of the other rooms in the house. Aside from the breathtaking beauty, the staff is what makes this property fabulous. They are warm, engaging, friendly and terrific at their jobs. There is nothing critical I have to say at all!

Sit back enjoy the view, service and food.

A very upscale house with all the amenities of a 5 star resort. Special attention is given to the smallest detail. We arrived during Christmas season with many grandchildren expecting Santa. They were not disappointed as the Christmas tree was splendid. Five star staff attends to cleaning, yardwork, boat and Michelin Star meals. On food go local - it's the best.

Nothing short of Amazing

Where to start… this was hands down the best vacation my family has ever taken. Kassandra is an INCREDIBLE chef!!! Every meal I thought the food couldn’t get better and it did. Heck I even decided to spend time in the kitchen with her to figure out exactly her recipes. The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. I would come back here without hesitation. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Amazing house and food!

Could not recommend this place more! The staff are so nice and helpful. The food was SO good! We only went out for one meal and it wasn’t nearly as good as the dinners the chef prepared at home. The house itself is great. Very modern and comfortable and well decorated. Absolutely no complaints!!!

Family Vacay and Celebration of Life Ash spreading

Elsewhere is absolutely amazing with gracious staff, incredible food, amenities galore and furnished with beautiful comfort in mind. The only thing that I would have like to have had was a hot tub to soothe my body from the Dunns River Falls hike. We all loved the kayaks, snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, pool and pool goes as well as the availability of the boat Anywhere for use. The sunsets were spectacular from the pool, beach or dock. Every night we couldn’t wait to see what magic Kasandra would be serving up for us. She never disappointed!! This was by far the best family vacation that we have ever taken and we are already brainstorming for our next one!

Absolutely what we needed!

From the moment we stepped off the airplane to being dropped back off at the airport, we were taken care of! This was one of the best experiences the 6 of us had ever had. The property was amazing and well thought out. We were able to use every space created for guests and enjoyed every bit of it. Our own private beach and an infinity pool to soak in all day. We took the boat out for a sunset cruise and were able to see the bioluminescence. The staff was beyond expected and the food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back very soon!

Perfect Getaway!

I just returned from a week at this stunning villa, and I can't say enough good things! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. The food was out of this world! Each meal was a delightful experience, showcasing local foods and amazing desserts. We looked forward to every thing Kasandra cooked from breakfast to dinner. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the breathtaking sunsets from the pool deck with a cocktail made by Kemoy. Each evening felt magical with the perfect backdrop to end each day. We also enjoyed some fantastic boat trips, exploring the surrounding coastline and snorkeling at several different reefs. The staff organized everything seamlessly, making each excursion a memorable. Overall, this villa exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway with amazing staff, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences, look no further!

Amazing hospitality

Everything was perfect - the staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating, the neighbourhood was very safe and secure and the house was wonderful. Our toddler loved feeding fish from the dock and looking for starfish. The food was out of this world !

Simply the Best- again!!

As return guests, we knew what to expect- a fun week of sun, relaxation, amazing meals & cherished time with our children and a few friends and somehow Elsewhere was even better! We are a family of seven- five children, four are headed off to college in the coming days. We were able to spend cherished time laughing, talking, playing games, hanging in the pool & SUP with them. I can't think of a better way to close out summer than this past week. When planning our summer vacation I was throwing out all sorts of locations and types of vacations- and my youngest, had only one vacation in mind- Elsewhere. I tried to offer other options, he was determined to return to Elsewhere and no where else. We decided to book again and it was an amazing week for all ten of us, that is incredibly rare- unicorn status! The staff is hands down the best! There are good vacations and then there are great ones- that is Elsewhere. I suggest you book your stay, you will love it!

My sister 25th vow renewal

I had an amazing experience everything was so beautiful and clean. I like the fact that the staff was outside waiting for us to arrive. The staff were amazing they made sure that we had everything we can think or ask for, the food was amazing. They made my sister special day, so beautiful. Miss Cassandra is so resourceful from finding a make up artist a hairstylist, a photographer, whatever we could ask for she made sure it happened. I pray that God will give back to them. Everything that they have given to us this week we will be back.

Beyond Expectations

Ten of us booked a week long birthday getaway and the goal was to relax and enjoy. This house far exceeded our expectations. It was in imaculate shape, well maintained and current. But what put this far above others is the staff. They are AMAZING! Polite, friendly, helpful, respectful and adaptable to your needs. They are there when you want them and not when you don't. I spent 27 years in the hospitality industry as an exec of a large global company. Elsewhere is Paradise

10 of us came down to Montego Bay to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday…we stayed for 6 days at Elsewhere By The Sea…A-MA-ZING!!! The pictures on VRBO don’t due this Villa or the experience justice…this is the BEST vacation that my wife and I have ever been on, and staying at Elsewhere By The Sea made it the perfect vacation. The Villa and the grounds are beyond beautiful. The private pool, private beach and open patio/bar area in the back just made everything so convenient and all the more satisfying. The staff…Kemoy (Butler) was the man with the plan and solution for ANYTHING we asked…Rafic (Asst Butler) was everywhere at once making sure everything was pristine as every area looked brand new and unused each time we accessed them, Ms Delores (Housekeeper) took care of our rooms and was on top of things as soon as we stepped out of our rooms every morning…and Kasandra (Chef)…Kasandra is the best Jamaican chef on the planet…if we could take Kasandra back home with us she would be in the seat next to us on the plane…EVERY MEAL WAS A MASTERPIECE…she presented a full arsenal of Jamaican cuisines like we’ve never experienced before. Thank you to Connie and Ms Winsome for assisting with and managing all of the administrative pieces that went into booking this trip and all the arrivals/departures to/from the villa. Elsewhere By The Sea is a Five Star property that I would rate as a 10 out of 10 everyday of the week.
