We just remodeled this home and it turned out beautiful.

Nestled in a private beachside neighborhood off hwy 98 near Sandestin Resort, Daiquiri Days I is the perfect getaway for those looking for a relaxing beach vacation. Our guests will have full access to a beautiful private beach along the world famous Emerald Coast, which offers crystal clear waters and sugar white sand.

Our gulf view home is only steps from the beach. (approx. 50ft) There is no road to cross over. Just a driveway. No worrying about the kids crossing the road to and from the beach. Absolutely, no highway noise. Just the sound of the gulf.

With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, Daiquiri Days I is sure to please! The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with incredible gulf views of the beach. The living area opens onto a lovely deck with amazing views. Sip early morning coffee and evening beverages while enjoying breathtaking gulf views. The first floor also features a master bedroom suite with Jacuzzi tub, full shower, spacious walk-in closet and private cozy outdoor veranda overlooking your own private pool. This is a full size pool (13x23), unlike many in the area. The Master bedroom has a King bed and Double/Double Bunk Beds too. The family room has a sleeper sofa. As an added bonus there is an office nook for you to catch up on your business activities. There is WiFi in the house.

On the second floor, there are two queen bedrooms. They each have private bathrooms. Both bedrooms have access to a private balcony. Start and end your days with spectacular sunrise and sunset views over the Gulf of Mexico.

The downstairs shower is not easily usable. The shower head that works well, hangs so that you have to hold it. Temperature is also a bit of a trial and error situation because it's not a clear left for hot and right for cold situation.The pots and pans have scrapes that cause flecks of the coating to get in your food. This is a little dangerous not knowing what's in the coating, but is also gross to have black flecks of the pan in your eggs. There were no measuring cups or tablespoon/teaspoon measurements, making cooking a little tricky. There was 1 glass measuring cup, which we used a lot, but wasn't ideal for smaller measurements. The blinds were very abused in the living room especially and one of the front windows has a significant crack in the glass.

We absolutely loved this property! We have been going to the Destin area from Texas for 20 years and this is the first beach house we booked. We will never go back to a condo. The privacy, pool, and access to the beach was perfect. The property manager was amazing and prompt with our questions before the stay, and a few during. We had overcast weather and requested a heated pool mid-stay and the maintenance guy was there in a flash to accommodate, plus he was super nice and had a fun personality. The house was clean, cute, spacious, and had all the things we needed to make our vacation unforgettable. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

This home was great for our two family vacation. It is in a nice, private area and super close to the beach. We did have an issue with the AC when we first arrived but Romeo came out and got it taken care of quickly. Living room was a little small for 9 people but we made it work and really enjoyed our week there! Matt was very responsive and quick to take care of any problems that arose.

The pictures are a little misleading. There are houses in front of you so ocean view is limited. In need of new shower heads, glass broken on one set of front doors and the entry set poured water inside during a rain. The water stains tell you it’s been happening a while. No jetted tub. Appliances were good, upstairs and downstairs had their own A/C unit which was great. No problem being comfortable. The pool and pool area were nice with grass and landscaping. Pool area also had a large covered space with a large dining table, couch, grill and wall mounted TV. Really good area to hang out. With exception to the issues listed first, not a bad place to stay but minor repairs and a more updated/accurate amenities listing is needed. It felt misleading.

great place for the price

Absolutely no issues. My only hangup is that I was expecting "incredible gulf views of the beach" per the description, and this is not the case. There is beautiful condo's build in front of this home. You can see the ocean, but the view is not great. You walk about 150 feet to the gate to access a very nice private beach. Neighborhood is great. The pool is very nice. I would book again. For the price you will not find better in this area.

Great Location and Pool WORST House

This house could be so so nice.... BUT all three bathrooms are horrible!! Moldy shower door tracks, nasty floors throughout!!! Sheets and towels were awful!!!! So dingy and worn out!!! Tried calling the people over the rental and he was out of town...sent some because NONE of the TV's worked and no porch light. The friend he sent didn't know anything about electricity and he shocked himself and then half the house didn't have electricity so the next day he sent an actual Electrician and he fixed all the electrical problems but couldn't fix TVs All of the sudden TVs started working everywhere except the Main Bedroom! The washer and dryer stink so so bad maybe that's why all the bedding and towels are so bad I would NEVER recommend this house unless it is redo !!! Needs a gut job!!!! I would like my money returned but sure that won't happen!!

Misrepresented and Unsafe - Terrible Beds - We left

My family rented this house based on the pictures, but it was so grossly misrepresented that we left after one night. The property was a hazard to our small children, and that was the beginning of the disappointment. The pictures shown are of a pristine home with ocean views in two directions. In reality, the home is not pristine, and there is no view. While the description of the property boast "sip coffee and enjoy the breathtaking views" there is no view as it is obstructed by two houses in one direction and palm trees and an RV park in the other. The white chairs picture on the deck are not there to sip coffee in. The owner states there is no road to cross over so no need to worry about the kids. The 2 "driveways" in front the home have several cars and homes along them. Not safe. The decking and railing are in severe need of repair, posing a risk to young children. The lush green pool in the backyard is now surrounded by dead grass and overgrown shrubs and weeds from the adjoining property. The beautiful spa tub pictured in the master bath is rusted and has a missing attachment, leaving a hole. The soft beds are wrapped in protective plastic so thick and loud you can’t move without making noise. The child gates for the stairs were so dirty that we had to purchase our own. If we had seen pictures of the house in its current state, we would not have rented this home. The owner was slow to respond prior to, during, and after our stay.

Amazing and peaceful

Our 8 group family stayed here for 5 days and 6 nights! The price was well qorth the stay! They have everything you would need at home! Communication was amazing with the host! The pool was warm and clean! We will be coming back again!!

Short sprint to the bewxh

The house is so close to the beach, it takes just seconds to walk to a private beach. We never had to fight for a spot near the ocean. The riptide was bad one day, so we spent that day in the pool at the house. My kids loved it and used it daily. We were close to restaurants, outlet malls, and the house even had a playpen for us to use for our foster daughter which made things so convenient.They provided baby gates, all appliances worked. They’ve replaced multiple porch boards but there is upkeep involved in every house. I would recommend the house to anyone who is interested in a relaxing vacation stay.

Honest Review ** Great location** House OK

The location is perfect.Beach is beautiful and private. Pool area was nice especially covered hang out area ( not in pictures) House was too small for the 10 of us. Rooms are nice size especially master. If your family likes to hang out before/after beach & pool day don’t expect to do it in Living room way too small to hang out for coffee and games at night. Not enough seats for everyone in the living room to sit if you have more than 5 people. Wifi terrible. The sweeper barely picked up. We couldn’t keep floors clean after tracking sand in daily. The water in sink would not turn cold and ice maker in freezer does not work. Not all lightbulbs worked in lamps. The house could use a deep cleaning. It was surface clean but felt pretty dirty. Windows were disgusting. Owners email said to contact cleaners when we arrived if there were any issues, but also stated they lived an hour away. Honestly, that should not be something I need to worry about when I arrive. Contacted property manager twice about other issues via phone and email and never heard back. All in all it was a great week at the beach and we made do with house accommodations.

Great Family Experience

This house was perfect in many ways. Close to private beach, rooms accommodated to our family and pool atmosphere was great to hang out around. Owner was quick to respond and house was clean. Only downfall was wifi wasn't working the entire time, but maintenance was quick to try and help. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

Fabulous location, beautiful views

The location was incredible. Easy access to the beach and a fantastic pool. The linens, towels, bedding, bathrooms, and kitchen were very clean. The floors were not. The vacuum cleaner in the house didn’t work which could be part of the problem. There were only 4 forks in the drawers. We purchased forks and a couple of pans to cook on as the provided cookware was flaking teflon and not something I wanted to use for safety reasons. There were no coffee filters, trash bags, etc so those were also purchased. The grill was out of propane and after a few emails to maintenance as instructed, an email to the property manager was answered. We were told it would be refilled but that didn’t happen during our 3 week stay. We have been spending 2 to 3 weeks in the spring at the beach for the last 35 years. This is the most we have paid for a rental by a large margin and it was not nearly up to the level it should be to command these prices. If you are looking for a place to sleep a lot of people and don’t want to cook, need to be close to the beach, don’t care about the cost, this is your place.

Daiquiri Days I

Location was as expected. Photos were misleading to us. They remodeled the kitchen and left the old pictures on the site, so we assumed there were 2 kitchens. Very disappointed about that! The cleanliness of the place was just ok, not great. The pool was nice.

Great Beach

The description of the newly remodeled home is not quite what we experienced once there. Lack of quality of a renovation if it occured. Location to the beach was absolutely wonderful. The pool was dirty when we arrived on Saturday and was never cleaned while we were there. I reached out to the property manager but never heard anything back about the pool. TV cable and internet was hit or miss anytime we sat to watch anything.

Never was cleaned

The property was not clean we call the owners they said it was out responsibility to call the cleaners and have them come back!! That’s not how it’s supposed to work. And they charged 350 for a heating bill in middle of July and we questioned it and they said they would refund it and it still hasn’t been!! Will never recommend or stay here again

It turns out we really enjoy renting our home out. We have gotten to know so many great families. We have hosted many weddings and family reunions. We truly enjoy working with each group to make their week absolutely perfect.

We chose this property because it reminds us of the location of our other property. It is a very quiet street. We don't have to worry about our kids crossing a road to get to the beach. The views are fantastic! This street makes you feel like you are secluded but just drive West a mile and you are right in the middle of everything.

It is very difficult to find a newer 3 bedroom with a private pool this close to the beach.
