Welcome to our condo at Tidewater Beach Resort! We can't wait for you to come, build family memories and take the love of the salt air and surf home with you. This large 16th floor condo is decorated with bright, happy colors, right on the Gulf of Mexico. It has two bedrooms, three full baths, and has a separate bunk area. The master has KING bed with private bathroom (tub and shower), 2nd bedroom has new pillow top QUEEN bed and private bath (stand-up shower). The bunk room has twin beds and private bath (stand-up shower). There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. This unit will sleep 8. Enjoy watching the new 55" Smart TV WITH Xfinity cable service. There is a new Blu Ray player, a new comfy sofa, new coffee table, new lamps, and new TV credenza. The dining table seats 4. There is a washer dryer in the unit. The condo features a spacious balcony including chairs and table with AMAZING views of the crystal clear turquoise water and sugary soft white sand. Tidewater is conveniently located within half a mile to the Pier Park shopping village. Pier Park features fantastic restaurants including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Panera Bread, Back Porch Seafood House, and many more with great shopping and entertainment options for the whole family. Be sure to walk down to the fishing pier and see all kinds of fish! Or throw in a line and catch a couple fish. Everything you need can be rented at the Half Hitch tackle store on the Pier.

Overall great condo. The worst part was the elevators. It could be very long waits to get an elevator and being on the 16th floor the stairs weren’t an option.

Nice property

The property was very nice and loved our condo. The elevators were horrible and you have to wait for a long time. They are very strict about not allowing tents and umbrellas on their property. You can put them in front of the property line or on the left side of the beach chairs. If you are in the wrong place they will make you move!

Everything was great with the room and stay . The only thing I didn’t like was the rental beach chairs were to close leaving no room to put and umbrella and chairs at the shore.

Nice condo with a separate bathroom for each of the bedrooms and for the hallway bunk bed areas. Across the street from McDonald’s, a Thai food restaurant and Marcos pizza. The condo pools are on the sides of the resort, along with a tiki bar. (15.00 for a frozen alcoholic drink at the little snack store) The elevators can be slow and take a little patience, if you have a long wait you are supposed to call for assistance. We only had one small issue which was immediately addressed when I texted management. Condo comes with beach chairs. Also, comes with the little soaps, shampoo, and conditioners which came in handy because I forgot my shampoo. Very clean and well stocked with basics in the kitchen. We had a great vacation!

Loved Our Stay

We had a great time and the unit was perfect for us. Of course the pullout couch isn’t the most comfortable but I don’t think any are and yes the elevator situation is a bit of a pain (however we met a lot of great people squeezing in or waiting for one) but for the unit, the view, and the memories we make at the Tidewater, it is 100% worth it! My daughters and their friends still want to stay here twice a year and this would be a great unit to rent again!

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean, updated and nice. The only cons were that the beds were very hard and not comfortable at all. The elevator situation is a little frustrating also. Overall would definitely stay again .

Wonderful condo, very busy building

The condo was wonderful, the elevators were extremely slow. The resturant in the building is very slow and over priced food. Everything else was wonderful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience. Our oven wasn't working and they came and fixed it very quickly. The accomodations were very nice, and we had a wonderful time. Our only complaint was the elevators were a little slow at peak times.

Elevators are horrible!!!

Read the reviews....the elevators are ALWAYS down. I spoke to several people that had stayed previous years and I myself also stayed before....elevators are always down. If you can trek the stairs...stay there, if not, book elsewhere!

Tidewater

First of all this is no reflection of the rental property company. They were amazing and were very helpful and prompt to return calls and messages!! Price was very fare!The problem is with the facility itself “Tidewater” I have stayed in various condos in PCB over the years . The elevator situation is typically not the best in July and the rest of the prime season at most resorts. Tidewater takes it to a whole new terrible/bad. The is no reason to have to wait 30 plus minutes on an elevator and if this is the norm then you fix it! Even if that means spending extra money to build new elevators some where. Or make some elevators service the upper levels and some service the lower levels. The answer is not to have an attendance picking someone up on the 24th floor and taking them to the ground floor without stopping. You also need to make sure they are in good working order at all times. I have stayed with this resort before and it was the same then.

Probably would not use again

It was not clear to me who to contact when there was a problem. The owner of the property was not communicative and reply to my issue. The condo was extremely hot and the fridge did not cool so I lost all the food that I had purchased. However, the staff was extremely polite and courteous.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not stay at this location again. It was not clean,it was only spot cleaned. The pots and pans were horrible and there were no storage containers that had lids. At least one elevator was broken each day. The garbage disposal did not work and when we called we were told to reset it, it still did not work. The parking garage set up was a nightmare. I have stayed numerous places, and have never left a bad review. The location was great.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time on our family vacation and the price of this condo was very affordable and nice for the money.Upon arrival I noticed pretty quickly the table does not seat 6 like the listing mentions, there were 4 chairs. The listing also stated additional seating at the bat with stool of which were not there either. This qas disappointing due to we were on a family of 7 vacation and the listing stated 6 table chairs and 2 bar stools. We thought we would be able to enjoy a meal together.The TV in the queen room would not work. Made a horrible buzzing tone sound even when volume was turned all the way down. The listing states the sofa pull out queen mattress is brand new memory foam. That is not the case, it is whatever mattress came with the sofa and is very much a spring mattress and extremely uncomfortable. So if you're needing to utilize that, I would not recommend.The dishwasher smelled to the high heavens and made the dishes smell awful.Outside of the condo, the elevators were a horrible experience. You might wait 15 minutes for one to even show up, to them be already passed capacity. Granted, it was Spring Break, I forsee this is probably a year round issue at Tidewater.Like I said, we enjoyed our vacation and just recommend the owner to update the listing to reflect an accurate expectation.

Reviewer Comments: Overall condo needs a good, thorough cleaning to incl the balcony area. Cabinet knobs, door knobs, etc. were grimy as were all of the TV remotes. Kit countertop was gritty. TV in master made a sizzling sound even when totally muted. TV in 2nd bdrm was missing the cable box so didn't work. LR TV had 3 remotes/no instructions so took some fiddling to get it to work. Every lamp in the unit was unplugged so had to move furniture to plug them in; obvious it wasn't moved for normal vacuuming. Kit pantry missing a knob; didn't use any of the cookware, dishes or cutlery so can't comment on this area. No extra toilet tissue for 2nd bathroom (supposed to be 2 rolls per bathroom). Toilet in 2nd bath rocked & cobweb was above same toilet. Overhead light in hall was burned out in front of washer/dryer area. Balcony door extremely hard to open-took 2 ppl to slide it. Had read lots of complaints about elevators; around check-in & check-out times, this was true. Other times weren't bad. No one was present at check-in at 6pm on Friday so all luggage carts were locked up & after a lengthy wait, gave up on getting one. There is a walkway from the condos to the parking deck & the lights continuously flashed off & on like strobe lights. Maintenance fixed this issue on the following day. The indoor pool was very small & overcrowded. Outdoor pools were nice; pool furniture needs cleaning. Beach service had ample chairs but they didn't space people out – there was only about 2’ between the sets of chairs so they should have skipped every other set of chairs to allow social distancing. Did not see anyone in elevators or common areas wearing masks. The location was good; no parking issues; nice view; wifi fine. All in all, would recommend if these issues were corrected. The things I pointed out are simple to fix; just wanted to give an honest assessment for future guests & property management.
