Welcome to our luxurious Maalaea, Ocean & Beachfront newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Condo. Kanai A Nalu is one of 8 complexes on our quite street. This lovely unit is situated on famous ā€œSugar Beachā€, a beautiful and quiet white sands beach that stretches for milesā€”all the way to Kihei. From the lanai, enjoy the sound of the surf, as well as 180-degree spectacular, breathtaking views of Mauiā€™s south coast. You can also enjoy views from the kitchen and second bedroom of the mountains. In the morning, watch the sunrise dancing off the peak on Haleakala, one of Hawaii's oldest volcanoes. Each winter you can witness the seasonal migration patterns of the humpback whales from the lanai.
This relaxing newly remodeled, air-conditioned unit also has cooling ceiling fans throughout. There is Wireless Internet, Cable TVā€™s, with netflex othet streaming networks and phone with free local calls. The condo is fully stocked with linens and towels, including Beach towels. Free parking is provided, just steps away.
You will like the spacious, fully furnished bedrooms, one with a comfy King Size bed and the other with a Queen Size bed and their own bathrooms. Enjoy an absolutely stunning view of the endless sparkling ocean from the master bedroom. Both bathrooms have beautiful dƩcor. Both bathrooms have tiled step in showers.
Enjoy the updated, full size kitchen. It is complete with all appliances, including a microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, all cookware and all the utensils needed to cook a wonderful meal. It is only a ten-minute drive to a large grocery store in nearby Kihei. If you want to dine out, there are restaurants with both ocean and harbor views that are located within a few minutes walk, just down the street.
Our building is located on a tranquil and peaceful dead end street. Swaying palms, lush tropical gardens, BBQā€™s and a pool complement the grounds. When itā€™s time to cool off, enjoy your favorite drink by the pool or take a snorkeling adventure with sea turtles in the warm waters in front of this lovely vacation property.

The condo is only a 12-minute drive from the airport. Best of all, Maalaea is centrally located between the towns of Lahaina and Wailea, and is only 20-30 minutes away from Makena, Kapalua, and Kaanapali. This affords you the endless recreation Hawaii is legendary for, but with the quiet serenity only the small village of Maalaea can bring you. It is no wonder why many consider Maalaea, Hawaii's 'Best Kept Secret.'

Nearby Attractions:

Right up the street from the condo is Maalaea village. The village includes the popular Maalaea Harbor. At the harbor you can take a snorkeling, sunset or dinner cruse. Next to the Harbor is the renowned Maui Ocean Center, Maui's #1 tourist attraction. It is a top rated aquarium that everyone will enjoy. Next to the aquarium are the charming Harbor Shops, shopping center. It features some wonderful stores, a very good ice cream parlor, and several 5 star restaurants. There are restaurants right there at the harbor with ocean views along . At the entrance to Maalaea are a water sports park and two miniature golf courses that the entire family will enjoy.

We couldnā€™t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The condo is lovely, comfortable, and an extremely convenient location. Mary(the owner) is kind and thoughtful. It was a wonderful place for my family of 4 (parents 2 grown teenagers) to stay and enjoy our vacation in paradise. We plan to stay here again when we return to Maui, and would recommend this wonderful property to anyone!

It is an amazing place to stay. The property is clean and comfortable located on the beach. Close to all of the tourist destinations but laid back so you can enjoy the beauty without being in a crowd. It is close to west maui and the road to Hana. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location by the beach. Condo is updated and had all the amenities. The complex is also very well maintained. The beach is 2 miles long with access only from each end and we were at on end. Awesome place.

Absolutely wonderful!!

We loved the condo and the location. Close enough to most things but also far enough for it to be nice and quiet. Snorkeling right at the condo ocean area is fabulous cause we got to swim with turtles. We definitely recommend this place and this owner. She was great keeping in touch and the condo had everything we needed.

The communication was outstanding and everything was as advertised & better in person. This was a perfect stay for two couple traveling together. The property grounds were impeccable, pool cleaned every morning and the BBQs were clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Thanks Mary for a great stay.

19 days in paradise!

We had a wonderful stay in Maalaea. Nineteen days of perfect weather. Not one rainy day! This condo was everything the owner said it was. Newly updated, great location and had everything we needed. The owner was very easy to work with and was very attentive with any questions we had. This is our third stay in this complex and we love it. The condo complex is very quiet and laid back. We walked the lovely beach every day and saw lots of green sea turtles! Perfect stay and we will be back!

In other words: wonderful, marvelous Our stay in this lovely unit was perfect. It met all of our needs. It is fully equipped and well kept with all the necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The layout of the larger area (living and dining area) maximises openness and comfort. The lanai is the gem. Enjoy mornings relaxing as you sip your coffee/tea and you can also enjoy the evening sunsets of the harbor and beyond. We have stayed in many of the units at Kanai. This is a gem! We will be back.

We came to Maui (frm WA state) to celebrate my retirement and to do our part to contribute to the economic recovery. We appreciate very much how beautiful and convenient the condo was being centrally located on the island. Mary made it very easy with all the information she communicated prior to arriving. Everything went exactly like it was supposed to. Got exactly what I expected. The condo and location were absolutely perfect! Structure & window treatment couldā€™ve used a little updating but other than that it was great. Absolutely fabulous premises & beachfront. Had all the amenities to make for a perfect stay. Perfect Vacation

Mary's Condo was perfect! Well equipped kitchen including a crock pot! It was so nice that there were basic items stocked - like salt and pepper, oil even peanut butter as well as bathroom supplies! The beds were comfortable. We stayed a month so it was important that the furniture was comfortable - couldn't beat the recliner chair and couch! The location was perfect - in the middle of everything with a short drive up to Lahaina or over to Kihei. Beach Bums was our favorite restaurant. I slept like a baby every night listening to the waves. we are going to miss it and only hope that some day we can do it again. Thank you Mary!

Outstanding!

Outstanding! My wife and I took our older parents to Maui for their first Hawaii visit. They had a fabulous time relaxing at the condo and poolside. Every detail throughout the condo was well thought of, the interior decorations modern and tasteful. The location was also a breath of fresh Aloha air. Being In between Kihei and Lahaina it was not as crowded and only a few minutesā€™ drive from all the shops and restaurants. The beaches sugary sand was very nice with little waves to play in, turtles and families enjoying the day. Truly this was the best place weā€™ve ever stayed at in Hawaii, we look forward to coming back. Kudos to Mary for providing such a nice condo stay experience. MahaloļŠ

First time Maui vacation

Maui is beautiful and exceeded all expectations for our first time to a Hawaiian island. The condo we stayed in was comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great stay. The beds were very comfortable (not too soft or hard - just right). We truly had all the comforts of home right in our place. The owner, Mary Pedretti, provided every thing needed to complete your stay. There were plenty of beach towels and floatation devices for fun in the pool. Updated appliances, nice decor, clean, and just as presented on the web - you wonā€™t be disappointed. Being right on the beach, hearing the sound of the ocean was very calming and soothing. We had easy access to local stores and attractions. Beach Bums cafe nearby had the best ribs, the beaches were breathtaking and the weather was perfect! The property is well maintained by the groundskeepers who were there daily bright and early cleaning the grill, trimming the grass, and cleaning the pool. You can book this location with confidence. We hope to come again soon.

Not completely happy.

Many labels telling us dos and don'ts though out the condo, not a welcoming feeling. Master bath floor very sticky. Blonde hair ball in second bath. We are all brunettes. The washing machine had mold in the soap dispenser. We were expected to do laundry (sheets and towels) We were told not to leave more tan 3 loads for them to do. We paid a cleaning fee. What was that used for????

We bought our unit about 30yrs ago. We had been visiting Maui for about 10 years when we found this well kept secret place.
I am retired LE. We found this as a break from the hectic work our work. We come here to relax and forget. We can relax here or partake many of the near by activities.

We love it because it is close to everything but it is no way over crowded. Our grounds are manicured beautifully, the complex Kanaā€™i A Nalu is peaceful, the owners and guests alike are friendly. We can walk on the beach and not step over hundreds of people. Sometimes we can even have it all to ourselves. You are only 10 - 15 minutes from most places and things. ( airport, Kihei, Wailea, Lahina, Kanaapali, surfing, boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, zip lining, ATV's, horseback riding.) You name it its close!
During whale season you can whale watch from the lanai or the beautiful grounds.

You can walk to the harbor for boat trip ( sunset cruises, fishing trips, scuba diving, snorkeling and whale watching ) Miniature golfing, bumper boats and rock climbing are right next to the Ocean Aquarium which is fantastic. There are also nice restaurants, pizza, ice cream shop and shopping right there.
