The Frederick Lakeside Lodge @ LAKESIDE Vacation Homes (3) is located on the peaceful east arm of beautiful Payette Lake.

The Frederick Lakeside Lodge has a large deck off the living room that has a panoramic view of Payette Lake (20' from the beach). There is a lake view balcony off of the Master Bedroom and the other upper King Bedroom.

Large Gas Grill (w/2 tanks of propane) on the deck. The Gas Grill is on the deck all year.

Guests will enjoy beautiful sunsets at the Frederick Lakeside Lodge every season of the year.

If you stay during the colder months there is a large rock fireplace to keep you warm while you take in the view of the lake and mountains (see photos).

It is short walk to the dock, lake deck and beach from the Frederick Lakeside Lodge. There are 6 large guest slips for guest boats at the 'private' LAKESIDE Vacation Homes marina.

Note: If you need to cancel within the No Refund time frame you will receive a refund if we are able to rebook the property in the amount of the new booking.

Fun lake side property

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. We loved the views of the lake. It was a steep and snowy drive down the driveway, good thing we had 4 wheel drive.

New year’s ski trip

This house was just wonderful for our two families. The perfect spot on the lake couldn’t be better and there was so much room for all of us to move around. The beds were very comfortable and the living room as well. It’s not often you find a rental with an abundance of cozy, snuggle-in furniture around a fire! The kitchen is small but well appointed. We definitely plan to return again

Magical Location

The property was a perfect fit for our family. I did want to let the owner know the coffee pot did not work. I bought a small one at a local thrift shop to get us by. The coffee pot definitely needs to be replaced.

Lake front home

The online photos of the home do not do the house justice. It’s beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It rained while here but we still took our boat out and enjoyed ourselves. We had family from England with us and they to loved it. Plenty of space for a big family. Clean grounds and home. Ps make sure to roll your car windows up. We did not one night and raccoons made there self at home 😀

Lakeside Fun

What an among view! This is a picturesque home on beautiful Payette Lake. We loved the layout. Plenty of rooms for family a kids. Nice well-stocked kitchen. Lots of parking. Fun beach. A dock for toys. And Rick is a great host! We’ll be back.

Great multi-family cabin on the lake

This was a great cabin for a multifamily getaway. The owner was very responsive to all of our needs. It was very clean with a great living room with plenty of seating. Be aware, though that there is not an extra futon bed in the first bedroom. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room though. Also, we did not know beforehand that four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive with good tires was required to get into the property. the driveway is very steep.

Labor Day Vacay

I spent a week at Frederick Lodge with family and friends. The cabin is very comfortable for a large group, and the patio and dock are perfect for watching the sunset. A bald eagle spent some time on our beach, which was very cool.

Great location-Great Lake front beach

The location of this home on Payette Lake is ideal. We had small children in our party, and the beach that fronts the lake was terrific to utilize—the perfect spot for a family.

A lovely low key place to stay right on the lake

This is my second time staying here, and it was a perfect, relaxing time. Beautiful views from every window. Comfortable beds and furniture. A full capable kitchen. The owner is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any question. Will definitely stay here again.

On the Lake

This was our 3rd year staying here. Our family loves being right on the beach and the cabin is the perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Rick is very responsive and easy to work with.

Details matter

Place was advertised as having 6 beds and a sleeper sofa. Upon arriving, we found 5 beds and the sofa. Problematic for sure, but the worst part was the host's response. It started with 'no, that's not the way it is advertised', and then went to 'we tossed that bed a long time ago and you wouldn't like it' and ended with 'I have my own problems'. I screen shot the listing...we're on pretty firm ground here. I'll note that the original listing stated that Bdr #1 has a King and a Twin roll away bed; it has since been changed to "sleep/sofa futon". So unless they've put one in there in the past 3 days, that's incorrect too. No couch, etc, in any of the rooms. To answer the host's question as to why it was a big deal; grown adults didn't pay to stay in a house to sleep with people they aren't married to. I realize when I'm stuck between rocks..wasn't much we could do. Disappointed and completely dismayed by the response, but as other reviewers have stated, there aren't alot of options in McCall at the last minute. Add to that, when we booked the place, there were several emails reference the parking. I was advised that there was ample parking on the road in front of the house. I guess I should have asked for further clarification; it's about a 400' walk up a steep hill to get to the road. Not a place to leave a couple of trailers with 100k of toys and equipment in each. The road was clear as advertised. Very tight. House is decent. The kitchen is tiny, but it is well stocked. Good supply of cooking gear, dishes, utensils, etc. BBQ flames...grate is just rotted out, an easy fix. If your a cook, you'll understand how traveling to numerous homes can be a challenge; this one was easy to work with. Thermometers had a difficult time keeping an even temp and we had no less than 7 burned out bulbs..kinda dim. Funniest part was the cleaning...apparently no one looks up. We have fewer dust webs in our attics I think. Basic cleanliness appeared decent, but when the obvious is looked past, it gives one pause, as in, is it really clean? Good supply of towels, garbage bags, and the living room, albeit small, is comfortable. To the host; responding too me that you have a great rating didn't help solve the problem. It was clear to us that somehow this was our problem/fault, but the fact that you listed the arrangements specifically is on you, not those of us that can read and count. It was insulting and you should be embarrassed.

Family vacay

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We will be going back. Tons of snow I don’t recommend you driving down the driveway unless you have a four wheel drive it was super snowy/icey very steep driveway down to the cabin. Needed more kitchen towels and a kitchen wash cloth and more knives. We didn’t have enough when we had steak. Also could use some face wash cloths there wasn’t any but I always come prepared. But Overall it was a super fun vacation we had a blast. So thank you.

Winter getaway

The family decided to have a weekend getaway and it was great! The cabin was just what we were looking for. It fit is all and everyone had their own rooms. It is a nice place and exactly what we wanted! Everything worked great and we were really pleased.

After a successful 30 year career in Pharmaceutical Sales I started LAKESIDE Vacation Homes in 2004. I really enjoy seeing families and friends having fun like we did growing up when my family vacationed at this same location.

My Grandfather (Fred Specht - the Frederick Lakeside is named for him) purchased the property in 1954. The Frederick Lodge has always been a very special place to me.

It's always fun seeing families make life long memories like we did when I was a young kid with my family and friends.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This location is as good as it gets on Payette Lake. We have long sunny summer days and beautiful sunsets all year long.

The large conifer trees that surround the houses provide just the right amount of shade during the summer.

The Payette National Forest is literally just out of the back door (across Eastside Dr) There is much less traffic and noise than at other locations on the lake. Guests will enjoy the tranquility and close access to hiking, jogging, quiet walks and mountain biking at this location.

For guests that want a quieter part of the lake this is the perfect place. This part of the lake is the best of all worlds - close to town and there is a lot less traffic than other locations closer to town or on the West Side of the lake off of Warren Wagon Road.

We do our best to keep the property and houses very clean and orderly. We are constantly doing things to keep the houses in great condition.

Linens and towels are kept fresh and new. We replace them often.

All of the kitchen appliances were new in 2014.
