Magnificent Sound and Ocean View/Sound Access and POOL!

Our Condo is located on Spencer Creek and Pamlico Sound, it has the most breath taking views of the Sound from the balcony and master bedroom. This cozy condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the third floor overlooking Pamlico sound. Ocean views and beautiful sunrise from front deck. The sunsets at night are magnificent from the back balcony. Watch the wind surfing and kite boarding on the sound from balcony.
There is a TV in both bedrooms. The living room has TV, DVD and stereo. Cable and Wireless internet 'WIFI' is also provided. Books, games and movie collection for family fun. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, small appliances. There is a new range and new dishwasher for 2018 season. Relax or swim at private pool. Rent or bring your own kayak. Ocean Air water sports is just next door and rents jet ski, kayak, paddle boards and other water sport items. Early morning walk on beach or Early Ocean swim! Just step across street to the beautiful Avon beach. Our pier on Spencer Creek is perfect for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. 4- wheel drive beach access is just up the road. Side walks are a new addition to this area. Great for daily walks or a day of shopping in gift shops and beach shops. Enjoy a morning bike ride. Bring your bike or rent a bike and store in ground floor storage closet. Several beach rental stores are close for bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and surf boards. Items can be delivered to condo. Fish cleaning table and laundry room on site. Outdoor shower located next to pool. On site Grill and picnic area. Grocery shopping at Food Lion just 5 min. up the road. 3 blocks away is DQ for the evening Ice Cream trip. Great Restaurants along Hwy 12. Ketch 55, Bros Sandwiches, Oceanea, Mad Crabber and many more. Coffee shops, Ice cream stores, Kitty Hawk Kites, Life is good and other gift stores all in walking distance.

This Condo is serviced by Hatteras Helping Hands as the cleaning service and repair service. Bed linens will be supplied. This will be included in quoted rental fee. Hatteras Helping Hands can also supply towels, concierge service , grocery shopping and delivery services for a reasonable fee. Information is on Hatteras Helping Hands web site.

Note: For pier fishing on property, temporary inexpensive fishing licenses are required by NC Fish and Game . Licenses are available in many local stores.

This condo is in a great location with amazing views. There are a decent amount of steps to get to the third floor but it is well worth it. Great communication with the owners. I would say the cleaning service could do a better job. Upon arrival, there were clumps of hair on the floor in the bathrooms, a fake eyelash on the floor, a hair bonnet that was left, and goldfish all over the back deck. We also cleaned the kitchen/dinning room floor because of how sticky it was. We don't blame the owners for the cleanliness and would still recommend staying at their property!

Good week at the beach

Overall, we had a good week and had all the basic necessities. We had an issue getting into the laundry room which was frustrating for a couple hours but we did get in eventually. I was surprised that we were told to brong our own towels a few days before we checked in, I wasn't expecting that and they should have been more clear that they weren't providing anything besides bedding. There were no bath mats, hand towels, nothing cloth other than bedding. You also can't adjust the thermostat and it gets warm in the afternoon. Overall though, we liked the pool, easy walk to the beach and to get ice cream. The deck overlooking the sound was nice and we brought our own paddle boards so having an easy place to launch was great and my daighter fished right off the dock a few nights. We even used the grills one night to cook dinner which was nice to have available.

Beautiful location with sound and ocean access! Everything we needed in our rental was available. Great pool. Lots of wildlife to enjoy! Three precious otters in the canal, baby rabbits in the backyard and a very light colored raccoon. Convenient to everything!…groceries, water sports, ferry, great food. Best vacation in years.

Needs some work

I was a bit shocked we couldn't turn the air up. In the evenings it got up to almost 80 throughout the apartment. This made sleeping very uncomfortable. Also, the gate to the pool is dangerous. It should never swing out over the stairs. I fell down the stairs from the top and landed on my back at the bottom. Surprisingly, I did not hurt myself more than I did. Thank goodness I didn't have my 1 year old grandson in my arms when it happened. Other than that, we did make some really good memories.

Family vacation 2024

Enjoyable vacation

Check in/check out was easy. Communication was good. Condo location was quiet but convenient. Pool area was nice and we had it to ourselves occasionally. We brought kayaks and enjoyed using them in the sound. We used the 4x4 beaches and there were multiple ramps close by. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes from condo to sand. The condo is on the 3rd floor and there’s no type of lift, which was manageable for us. Thank you for sharing your condo and all the available conveniences (dishes, beach toys etc). It was our first time staying in this area and we will definitely be coming back. :)

What a great location and cute condo with lots of characther! So great to be able to walk to the beach and the sound and enjoy sinrise from the front deck and sunset from the back deck! Excellent hosts!

Perfect week at the beach.

My family and I had a perfect week staying in this condo. It had everything we needed (except towels of any kind, make sure you pack them) and had easy access to the beach. We loved enjoying the pool and even had it to ourselves frequently. The stairs did get to be a bit tiresome after long days and walks on the beach, so if you have issues with stairs I would keep that in mind. The view from the balcony was perfect and I enjoyed it most mornings and nights. Overall I saved the property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place with all the amenities one could need for a week away from home.

My family and I had a wonderful time on our week long visit. This was the same property we used last year and loved it so much that it was a must for our annual beach trip in 2023. Our New Favorite Beach Place

First time to OBX and we are so glad that we chose Dave and Jeanne Dugan's condo to stay at. Truly beautiful views morning and night! Contacted Jeanne and she was really responsive! We realy appreciated that! Condo was really nice! Quiet and so relaxing! Just what we needed! We did not want to leave! Avon was a great town to stay in! Quiet, food was great and really just a small drive away from many attractions. We walked right up street for breakfast many mornings. Kitty Hawk Kites and ocean rental place right next door. Already checked to see if they had any other weeks available this summer!

Great place, great view, great location

the condo was perfect for me, my husband, and 2 of our adult children. the condo was well decorated, with comfortable beds, an amazing view of the sound, and very clean! would definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous view and very well kept condo

This was the first time to the outer banks and I must say we will never go to Myrtle again for our yearly vacation. The drive was a little longer to the outer banks but absolutely worth it! The condo was clean and stocked with almost everything you could think of. The owners of the property couldn’t have made it an easier stay at their property!

Comfortable stay

Condo is very homey and looks to have had some updates done. Back porch area is nice with partial view of the Sound thru next row of houses. Unit is on third floor which gives you 40 steps to climb but does give you better views.

Just Like Home

Staying here was just like home. They really took the time to think of everything and the place was clean as well. Thr view was breathtaking and the surrounding people were friendly as well. I definitely would stay again.

We love our stay

The place is very nice and welcoming. The location is close to the beach and Ocean Sports which you can rent kayak and SUP. We could see beautiful sunset from our balcony. Outdoor pool is right by the building and it's usually not many people, it felt like our private pool. The host, Jeanne, was quick to respond any of my text and question. My son accidentally broke two bowels in the kitchen, when I informed Jeanne, she told us it's ok, and didn't charge us a fee. I would highly recommend this place who wants to go to Outer Banks.

Very pleasant!

Although our stay was short and we had four out of five days of rain, the location itself is very well-kept. It looks exactly like the pictures showed, everything was neat and organized and most importantly clean. The only suggestion I can make is somehow to install a drainage system in the parking lot. Because there was so much rain there was constant flooding in the parking lot. Other than that I can’t think of anything else. We will visit again but this time during a better week or month

Wonderful place!

This is a great place! You’ll absolutely love it. We have 3 sons, ages 23, 16 and14 and we were extremely comfortable. We brought fishing rods, beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers. The storage closet was perfect for storing our things under the condo. WiFi works great with all 5 of us connected. One evening, we took a trip to Ocracoke and got back late. Most of the restaurants close by 9pm so that evening we made a foodlion run and everyone got something different to make for dinner. The condo had everything we needed to make it happen! The location is perfect and we loved being on the 3rd floor. The host, Jeanne and Dave, give you great information before your trip of all you need to know. We would definitely stay here again! Wonderful vacation!!!

It is the most relaxing place for us. We always wanted a place of our own to vacation and rent. Hope you enjoy it as much as our family.

We chose this property for the spectacular view of the Ocean from the front deck. The pretty ocean side sunrise and the Pamlico Sound sunsets at night. The pool is a great addition. Steps to the beautiful Hatteras Island beaches. Access to Pamlico sound for fishing and water sports. The covered balcony is very relaxing morning and night.
