Spacious six-bedroom home, ideal for some of our extended family for the weekend of our son's wedding. Lovely outdoor deck overlooking a stunning bush setting. We did not have time to take full advantage of the pool and gym.

We booked the house for the family to stay in as we were getting married in the Blue Mountains. It's space and location was perfect for the area an what we required.Easy to find coming from Sydney, the location was quiet and we loved backing onto the bushland.

The best place to stay for Blue Mt retreat

The property is perfectly located to give you a nice quite time with family and friends, but still only 5mins away from Coles/Woolies.It has everything to entertain the whole family, from the heated pool, table tennis, gym, and even Play station.The plale is clean and the 6 rooms could fit the whole football team Nathan is great with the communication and all instruction are very clear.Definetly will coming back again

This is not a luxury house.It is comfortable and cosy but the furniture is quite old and the lounge is in a bit of disrepair. The bathrooms are functional and the water hot but could do with a facelift and the towels were old, not soft and fluffy. I’m not sure how far the cleaners go as the gate to the covered pool was open and when one of us went to close it we encountered broken glass on the path. In addition some warning should be given to the very steep and narrow driveway with its limited turning space at the house. We had great trouble finding the wifi and could only get one channel on the TV all weekend- there were no instructions-this could easily be solved by leaving a folder with this and any additional information on the kitchen benchMost importantly the lack of timely communication from the host caused the most angst- no response to some questions I made via the App in the week prior and the phone number given for contact did not operate- call failed every time! - even StayzCare which I resorted to ( indeed a few times) could not contact the host- very unsatisfactory. Amazingly information was sent by the host straight away on the last day to remind us to leave promptly and on arrival home a very detailed message was sent on how to give him an excellent review!! Such a shame as Springwood was a lovely village.

Over promised & under delivered

From the moment we arrived there were some fairly significant issues with the property. Particularly given it being described in the listing as a “luxury” property with a large kitchen, heated pool that could sleep 13 people.When we arrived, the front door key pad would not activate and took several people many turns before it would activate and allow us to enter the code and enter the home. While the home sleeps up to 13, the home was not consistently set up for a larger gathering.There were only four drinking glasses, few teaspoons and 8 chairs for the “huge dining table”. The home has a fireplace. A axe was left outside, but there was no firewood inside or outside to be used. We were provided with three rolls of toilet paper across the three bathrooms, no cling wrap or kitchen towel and only one tea towel provided for a four day stay. We had to purchase a can opener, tea towels and drinking glasses on the first night. Downstairs, a tap continuously ran and could not be turned off. The main shower hot water tap was temperamental and would not reliably turn on. The pool was very cold. Downstairs smelled strongly of mould. We weren’t expecting a five star stay, but this property needs to be updated to provide for families comfortably and the language used in the listing should be toned down to reflect the actual state of the property.

Great experience and the host was great a communicating and responsive. The place is very presentable and welcoming. We had a pleasant weekend away.
