Making Memories And Enjoying Your Family At The Beach!

Our rental home has been completely remodeled with all new applicances, totally handicap accessible. The master suite has a beautiful kingsize bed with your own private bathroom and flatscreen mounted TV. The two other bedrooms have queen size beds in each room along with flatscreen TV's in each room. The two bedrooms have access to the totally handicap bathroom. The living room has a 40' flatscreen TV mounted. The kitchen has a breakfast area at one end and the dining area with a dining table capable of sitting up to 8 people at the other end. The home is very roomy and open and to make you feel just like you are at the beach all decorated in the beach theme. You will be able to sit on the front porch and enjoy the rocking chairs and listen to the ocean and watch dears run across the field at the same time. We have plenty of beautiful palm trees for you to enjoy also. We have a private in ground pool right in the back yard for you to enjoy. Wanted to give an update on some of the reviews concerning the odor in our water because of the well water, well good news we have county water now at our home and no more odor in our water!

The property is well maintained, quiet and rural. We had a wonderful time in the peace and quiet and relaxing in the pool. All 3 of us loved watching the horses, donkeys, turkeys and deer. It’s so quiet, you’d never think you’re only 5 minutes from the beach! We definitely want to make this a yearly destination!

Wonderful home. Nice and quiet away from the crowds, but just a mile from the beach. We saw deer, turkeys in the field out drom along with the horses and donkeys in the pastures. A winderful relaxing vacation and the property owner was great. Definitely planning to stay again in the future.

Excellent Family Vacation

This has become our favorite place to stay when we come back to Carolina. Its so peaceful and secluded but just a short drive to the beach! Near all the stores and restaurants you need. The pool is perfect for the kids to cool down in.

We love it here!

We have now stayed at 2 of Ms. Beth’s properties. One of which has now been sold and the other is this property that we’ve been coming to for a few years. The home is always clean and the location is perfect. The location provides wonderful wild life such as turkeys, deers, and tree frogs as well as horses and donkeys on her farm nearby. It’s a short distance from the many ice cream shops, the beach, and the park for those who have kiddos! We highly recommend staying here.

Great stay.

This was our second trip here. This one was better since they added WIFI. The pool was clean on arrival, and cleaned twice during the week. Owner stopped by to check if everything was ok. Overall a nice stay.

The property was as described. Easy check in and everything was amazing and clean. The beach is a 10 minute drive, grocery store three minute drive. About a hour drive to Myrtle Beach. This was our second time staying with Ms. Elizabeth and definitely not our last. We have never had any problems wit her. Pool was amazing and clean and so was the rental property. Plenty of towels, great start off essentials. You also, get a little bit of country. We will be returning next year.

we have been staying here over the last several years, and have enjoyed it year after year. The property is well kept and the owner is on site if there are any issues, which there never are. Great place to stay, quiet and out of the way, but, very close to everything you might need. We will continue to stay here for years to come.

Family Vacation

This was a great getaway to the beach. Its really close to the beach. The property was as listed, actually bigger than we imagined. The pool is amazing, the pool guy came while we were there, he was friendly and professional. We would book this place again and recommend it to family and friends.

Perfect location in the country but minutes from the beach!

We loved our stay here. I grew up in this neighborhood and wanted to bring my kids back home for a vacation. The location was perfect with beautiful views of woods, fields, and pastures. Pool was an absolute hit for the whole family, we couldn't keep the kids out even on a colder day! Of course being so close to the beach and all the shops was perfect as well. We will definitely be returning!

A little bit of it all

It was our first time to the area and 100% plan to return. The home is far enough away but also close to everything, if there is "country" at the beach, this is it! We enjoyed watching the farm horses graze, saw a wild turkey and a deer on an evening ride along the coast line, 5 minutes from the house! The pool was wonderful after a day on the beach. The home and property were amazing, plenty of room and the open floor plan made us feel like we were always together, even in different rooms doing different things!

The Beach version of home

The inside was cozy and homey with a beachy twist. It wasn’t overly decorated to the point that it was tacky, but definitely had an east coast beach vibe. The outside was manicured well with pops of color and plants. We were mostly secluded from neighbors which helped us fully relax when being outside. The pool was always a comfortable temperature. It was never too cold or warm and was a great size for a little swim. The location was perfect with everything we needed, including the beach, a VERY short drive away. We would for sure come back to this house if we ever wanted another beach getaway.

My husband and I decided to put our new rental home on VRBO because we have had very good experiences with renting through VRBO ourselves. We currently have another home we rent through VRBO in the mountains of North Carolina, but we do not manage that rental because we live here at Holden Beach. A rental agency handles that for us because of convenience. We live right here on the farm also. Our home sets back from the rental home behind the horse pasture. We love it here, I grew up here at Holden Beach and my husband grew up in Gastonia NC. He moved to Holden Beach about 13 years ago when we got married. Since then we have built our beautiful home here on the farm along with my family. We have horses along with my sons chickens and our family dog Boot's. I must say we do have the best of two worlds. It is peaceful back here on the farm with no traffic and not all the vacationers, but you can go just a minute away and be at the beach enjoying the beautiful ocean and all that comes with it.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Our farm is a family owned farm it has been in my family since the early 1900's. We have approximately 72 acres all together. My Mother and Father purchased this property from my father's heirs and me and my siblings have grown up here for the past 60 years. If you choose to come and stay with us at 'Holden Palms' you will definitely see why we have kept our farm as our little secret here at Holden Beach!
