LARGE 18' X 36' PRIVATE SALTWATER POOL which can be heated for additional fee

Sandy's Cottage is set amongst large Oak trees in the East Beach neighborhood. This one-level 3 Bedroom 4 Bath beach house is FUNctional, well-decorated and very comfortable. The house is located on Eleventh Street putting the best part of East Beach only a 0.10 Mile walk from your front door!!

This house has a courtyard layout with most rooms facing a private pool and backyard.

The living room has cozy furniture and a table perfect for jigsaw puzzles. The den, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom overlook the pool. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, completely separate his and her full bathrooms. The second bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The third bedroom has one full-sized bed, one twin bed and one slide-out twin trundle bed. The living room has a sleeper couch. The den and all bedrooms have Smart TVs.

THIS HOUSE IS NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY AS SOME DOORWAYS DO NOT ALLOW WHEELCHAIR ACCESS.

This is a NON-SMOKING house and you must be at least 25 to rent the home.

VERY DANGEROUS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND THOSE WHO CAN'T SWIM ON THEIR OWN. There is nothing to block someone from entering the pool once they're outside the sliding glass doors or pool bathroom.

RENTER REQUIREMENTS: For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental are considered to be the Guest's invitees, and all discussion regarding reservation, cancellation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest's invitees. The Guest understands that the owner rents to responsible adults over the age of 25 ONLY.

CANCELLATION POLICIES: Cancellation policies may change without notice. We try to remain flexible to meet our guests' needs and will work with you if there are extraordinary circumstances. To review our normal cancellation policies please see the uploaded Rental Agreement.

Book it now! From the quality kitchen dishes, silverware, glassware, etc. to the wonderfully decorated home, you will be happy you booked Sandy’s Cottage. The pool was wonderful! Close walk to the beach! Quiet area of the island. Easy checkin and checkout process. We had one issue and Sandy resolved it quickly. Overall, fantastic stay!

We’ve stayed at many cottages on East Beach and this one beats them all. Great location, fantastic pool. Pool has a true deep end. The place was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The most amazing stay!

This home is absolutely amazing! It is a short walk to the beach. The pool is terrific. There is plenty of room and has everything we needed. We will most definitely be staying again. We have stayed at many different properties and this home is my absolute favorite we have ever rented.

Perfect Beach House with fantastic pool

Sandy retreat

The property was awesome. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent location in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Even though the weather during our trip didn’t work out to make maximum use of this gorgeous pool we still had a very nice relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Amazing place with everything you could possible need.

Sandy's cottage is beautiful. It is extremely well equipped, beautifully furnished and was immaculately clean. The location is very close to the most beautiful, peaceful beach on the island and the pool is enormous. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions. We had a wonderful stay here and can thoroughly recommend this house and the location.

Perfect East Beach rental!

This house was amazing! Great location, close to best part of East Beach. Clean, updated and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Owner was so helpful and we loved the huge pool. So much attention to detail, even the landscaping was beautiful. Can't say enough wonderful things about this adorable home!

No Better Spot in East Beach

This is our second stay at Sandy's Cottage and I think we enjoyed it even more this time around. The location is perfect, quick 3 min walk to the beach. The pool is beautiful, the house is nicely decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. It's a very comfortable home for our family of 6 which is 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 college age kids. We will definitely be back again!

Fantastic week at Hank's Cottage

We love this property. The house is as advertised. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The pool is wonderful. Best of all is the nice, quiet East Beach neighborhood and it is only a 5 minute walk to best beach area on St. Simons Island. Spacious and beautiful home, tons of light, plenty of spaces for eating or playing board games, comfy seating throughout... clean with lovely touches. The 4 bathrooms were very handy, and we had lots of closet space and all that we needed. The pool was divine! We enjoyed a simple running path from the house, walked to the beach some, and appreciated the abundance of beach chairs provided. We also really enjoyed the refreshing 5-gallon water dispenser!When we realized that the family room TV wouldn't connect to the internet, after we tried everything with no luck, the owner had it fixed the same day. Not what we came for, but we really appreciated it. We'll be coming back here again!

Best master suite ever

Sandy’s Cottage was a perfect retreat for our 1st visit to the Golden isles. We loved the master bedroom with TWO en-suite baths walk-in closet and a view of the pool. We were a couple and enjoyed the extra bedrooms for office space etc, but the large one story open plan is perfect for a family get together. There’s a huge kitchen, lots of counter space and a choice of gas or charcoal for grilling. The pool was big enough for lap swimming and Sandy is a gracious, accommodating, and responsive host. Looking forward to return visit.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week at Sandy’s Cottage! There was plenty of room in the house for teenagers and adults to relax and unwind. The pool was much larger than expected and the patio is equipped with a lot of great seating and lounging options. The house is located a short walk to the beach and for anyone who likes to get out for some exercise, you can walk about 1.2 miles to restaurants or delicious custard and coffee at The Cottage at King and Prince. Make sure you set your alarm and watch the sunrise - it’s a beautiful experience. We had our groceries delivered by Harris Teeter upon our arrival through the Target 360 app, which was very convenient. Our favorite restaurant are Georgia Sea Grill, Southern Soul BBQ, and Barrier Island Brewery. We’ve been visiting SSI for more than 20 years and this was our first time at Sandy’s Cottage - we will definitely stay again!

Amazing home - cottage!!

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful place!! Everything was so well appointed from the wonderful kitchen to the gorgeous bedrooms with great comforters & sheets! An abundance of nice towels in all 4 bathrooms. Most of all, it was immaculate, including the heated pool with extra-nice outdoor furniture! We have rented a lot of nice places, but our family all agreed that this was by far the best one yet!! Thanks for such a wonderful review!! I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay at Hank’s Cottage. The house underwent a major renovation/update over the past 9 months. Given your comments, I realize the time and effort devoted to improving the property were well worth it. The pool is not heated but does get a great deal of sun. The weather must have been warm enough before or during your stay to raise the temperature of the water. Thanks again for booking your stay at Hank’s Cottage. Hopefully next time you can stay longer.

SSI week

Loved this property! Beautifully decorated and landscaped. Thoughtful touches such as charging cube, pool towels, hot/cold water cooler, and TWO primary suite bathrooms, made it a lovely and comfortable retreat for us. Six family members (younger and older adults) stayed here for the week but we had additional family in town that joined us on multiple occasions for swimming, sharing meals (well stocked and appointed kitchen), and gaming. The house accommodated the larger group nicely! Location was great; easy beach access, nice sidewalks for strolling, and easy on and off of island when you wanted to venture elsewhere. Perfect choice!!

Fabulous East Beach Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hank's Cottage! The home is exactly as pictured - comfortable beds, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, clean home. Well maintained pool! The floats and outdoor furniture are awesome! It was even cool enough a couple of nights to enjoy the firepit. The most impressive, in my opinion, is the beautiful landscaping! The landscaping adds to the overall ambiance of the home! The owners truly have done their best to ensure that this property can be comfortable and enjoyed by all who visit. We rented bikes and enjoyed the beach - the best on St. Simons! Thank you Sandy for sharing this home with us - we will be back and are actually ready to move in!

Our Favorite Spot in East Beach!

My family and I come to St. Simons every summer. We usually stay in East Beach but we like to stay at a new house each time we come. This tradition has probably come to an end because we loved this house so much! The house was perfect for our family of 6. We loved the layout, having 3 separate bathrooms and the courtyard set up around the pool was perfect. Not to mention, the pool is big and clean and they had plenty of rafts for us all to enjoy. The kitchen is recently updated and it is quite beautiful and spacious. All of the linens were fresh and clean (didn't feel like old rental towels, etc). My one complaint would be that the mattress in the master is a little firmer than we like, but even so, we will be back! Forgot to add - the home has beautiful landscaping. It's just the most charming little ranch.

Absolutely perfect for a family of 4

We will be returning to Sandy's cottage ASAP! The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and the layout is perfect. We loved that it was a ranch and that there were two living areas. We especially enjoyed the his/hers master bathrooms! They are small but comfortable and convenient. The owners have very sensibly placed alarms on all the doors to the pool, which gave this worried momma of a 2yo a lot of peace of mind. Any guests staying in the bedroom with two beds will have to enter the other bedroom to use the restroom. This was not a problem for us, as my husband was using the other bedroom as an office. Our two littles shared the bedroom with two beds. It's in a great spot in East Beach. The owner was very responsive. The beds were actually comfortable! Haha so rare, these days. It really was such a cozy, clean, lovely house. We could not have been more pleased.
