Captain's Suite - 2 Bedroom Condo in Eastsound across from the park

One of the newer and more modern accommodations in the heart of Eastsound, the Captain's Suite has many amenities and does provide minimum and basic accessibility for those having some physical challenges. It is 1,152 square feet and sleeps four people in its two bedrooms, plus an additional two people on a queen size pull out sofa. It has a view of the Eastsound Waterfront Park and East Sound, including Indian Island. It has a bath with a jetted bathtub and shower (in the bathtub). Additionally, there is a drop down chair and stability bar in the bathtub. Both of the bedrooms have a queen size bed. Plus, there is a queen size pull out bed in the living room.

The Captain's Suite has a private laundry with separate washer and dryer. It also has satellite television with 250 channels, plus 9 HBO channels. The high definition television set, with a Blu-ray DVD player and Roku, is 55” and is in the living room.

A large number of music channels are available via the satellite receiver. Encrypted WiFi Internet is available in the Captain's Suite.

This suite has a full kitchen with everything a chef needs, including a stove with gas burners and an electric oven.

With this array of comfortable amenities, you may not want to leave the condo. We do hope, however, that you will explore beautiful Orcas Island, the Gem of the San Juan Islands. We believe that there isn't a better place to stay while exploring this enchanted island than this beautiful Indian Island Suites vacation rental building in the heart of Eastsound. (San Juan County Vacation Permit Number: PCUP00-13-0002.)

Indian Island Suites also has a three bedroom, two bath condo that can sleep 8 people, which is the Admiral's Suite, VRBO no. 596176 (vrbo #596176). The Admiral's Suite welcomed its first visitors on 2014. And, we have a one bedroom, one bath condo that can sleep 4 people, the Lieutenant's Suite, VRBO no. 601242 (vrbo #601242).

Great location, easily walkable to everything in Eastsound and quiet and restful after a long day or evening out. We were initially unable to connect to WiFi using the provided instructions, and when we asked the host for help it seemed to upset her. We eventually figured it out and everything else was fine.

Fantastic location in Eastsound! Easy to walk everywhere in town and convenient to drive to other points of interest on the island. This property was very clean, quite well appointed, and comfortable for our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Beautiful, clean, and walking distance to all that Eastsound has to offer, including a great little waterfront park right across the street. Management was prompt to answer questions, and super helpful with local suggestions for kid-friendly activities/restaurants. Would highly recommend.

This was our second stay in the Captain's Suite. The location in East Sound is great - the park, beach and view across the street provides lots of enjoyment. The condo is clean, roomy, and the kitchen has just what you need whether you cook in or only have coffee and tea in the morning and HH in the afternoon.

This condo is in a great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. We rented the Captain Suite which has 2 good size bedrooms and a large living room with 2 pullout couches. It was perfect size for 5 people. The kitchen is large with a big island. It has one large bathroom. Everything in this unit is handicap accessible including the bathroom sink.The manager, Rebecca, was great and responded quickly to any needs that we had.The only downside is that this suite is located on the back side of the building so there aren't water views or any outdoor places to sit. There is a view from the living room although the windows are high so you have to be standing up to see out of them.One thing that would make this suite considerably more amazing would be if they added a little patio off the front of the building that would be accessible from the living room. We would have spent more time there if we had an outdoor spot to sit that had a view!

The unit was as advertised with plenty of space for 4 adults. We really enjoyed the park and beach across the street and the unit came with beach chairs and towels. The host provided ground coffee and tea bags which was very much appreciated, especially on the first morning before we'd gone to the grocery store and explored East Sound. Convenient parking was a plus as was the location on Main Street so easy walking to all that East Sound provides.

Perfect weekend stay!

This was our first time to Orcas Island and we felt we picked the perfect spot for us. We loved walking to get our coffee and breakfast every morning and enjoying the beautiful water views. The owner was very communicative and friendly and the whole experience was smooth from beginning to end!!!

great location, frustrating interactions with management

This is a wonderful property as long as you don’t have any issues needing attention. The evening of our arrival, we noticed the drain for the only shower/bath was not draining. The property manager was contacted and agreed to come take a look the next day. We expected it to be the next morning so we could all take showers, but after no word by 1:30pm we sent a message, again at 2:30, and then at last got a response that they’d be over to look at 4:30pm. At that time they said it was still draining slow because it looked like someone pulled out the linkage accidentally. Meanwhile none of us were able to use the shower. Upon leaving, I politely requested a partial refund of an amount deemed fair by them for this inconvenience. After a week of back and forth with the manager, extremely poor responsiveness and some rudeness, my card was refunded 50 for our 900 2-night stay without a shower. In spite of that, the property itself is very nice and the location can’t be beat, just steps from the beautiful downtown area.

Location, Location

this is a great spot to stay. notes for the owners. there is no coffee grinder, trash and recycling bins should be available and not full. Or open the dumpster. I would also tell clients that this is suite 2. Last thing would be to provide a roll of TP for each day someone is staying. Overall this place is amazing and completely ADA compliant. Great home base for exploring Orcas.

Weekend Stay

The Indian Suites was a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful, clean rooms with everything we needed. Great view facing the water. We especially loved the large windows and stained glass lights. It’s on the edge of town so we could walk to the shops. Highly recommend staying here.

Great Location, Great Accommodations

We enjoyed our stay very much. The restaurants were mostly shut down for two days of our stay, but that was not the property's fault. The front door lock takes some getting used to, and can be challenging the first couple of days. Otherwise, it was a great property and we would certainly stay there again. Recommend to others.

David purchased the lot for this building in 2007. It was the last empty lot on Main Street in Eastsound. The building was completed in mid-July 2014.

Why get up in the morning and drive to downtown when you can simply wake up IN DOWNTOWN. This beautiful, new condo overlooks the Eastsound Waterfront Park on Main Street, a perfect location for your romantic getaway or family vacation - or both. In less than a minute from your condo, you can be beachcombing.
