POND VIEW COTTAGE: This is nestled within five acres of nicely treed and landscaped property overlooking a beautiful spring-fed pond. Only 3.5 miles to historic Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. Guest parking is provided. Experience cozy charm in the heart of nature at this one-bedroom cottage, which sleeps two, and boasts all of the home's comforts. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom. High-quality bedding adds to your comfort.

A Food Lovers' Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet meal preparation. Within arm's reach, you will find all of the kitchen appliances and utensils that you may expect to find in most homes. Fresh whole bean and ground coffee provided. Feel free to help yourself with the pantry items, including specialty coffee, herb tea, and spices. There is a variety of fresh herbs growing in the garden to add to your favorite dish. Take one step down from the kitchen into the living room, where you can enjoy a meal at the quaint dinette set.

Living Room with a View: The electric fireplace provides a wonderful ambiance for a cozy evening of relaxation. The host is proud to support local artists, and you'll find the cottage is tastefully decorated with artwork from the San Juan Islands. Plenty of natural light comes in from the windows and large patio door. For your viewing pleasure, there is Direct TV, ROKU TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. For your reading pleasure, there is a wonderful library of reference books about Friday Harbor and San Juan Island as well as a large selection of novels. The outdoor deck is off the living room.

Spacious Bathroom: Large walk-in shower, changing area and closet.

Covered Outdoor Deck and Fire Pit: The deck, with its quaint bistro set, is a perfect area to enjoy your meals overlooking views of the garden and pond. On any given day guests may see hummingbirds, ducks, a family of quail, horses on the neighboring property, or bald eagles. For a great end to a perfect day, BBQ your favorite food on the outdoor grill and roast marshmallows on the fire pit while sipping on your favorite drink. There is a complementary bundle of firewood provided.

Sit on the Dock or Paddle in a Dinghy: Relax on the sun-drenched dock with a book in hand, or enjoy paddling the dinghy on the pond. Lifejackets are provided. Bring your remote-controlled boats and race the boats around the markers on the pond.

Secure Storage/Drying Room: Attached to the cottage is a secure storage room available for bicycles, golf clubs, kayaks, or surfboards. A drying rack in this room is provided for your outdoor gear.

EXPLORE SAN JUAN ISLAND: The cottage is conveniently located near most points of interest on the Island. Enjoy the flavors of San Juan Island by shopping at the Farmer's Market for local, organic produce, baked goods, artisan crafts and so much more. For the food connoisseur, visit the nearby oyster farm, brewing company, or the marina docks where you will discover a large variety of fresh seafood. Be sure to allow time to visit such sites as the American and English National Camp, the Whale Museum, the San Juan Historical Museum, and guided kayak or whale and wildlife watching tours. Bring your hiking boots so you can enjoy nature's beauty when hiking Mt. Young, Bell Point, or Mt. Finlayson trails.
