Smith Mountain Lake Beach Retreat

This one-of-a-kind property is the ideal setting for making memories at the lake with your family! Enjoy wide water views with privacy on 7+ acres in your own protected alcove just off the main channel. Features a HUGE covered boat dock with bar, large sandy beach with fire pit, and a gazebo on the point overlooking the lake.

Very gentle slope with easy access to the dock and beach area. The large covered dock offers ample space to relax and entertain in the shade, while the beach provides a fun place to play in the sand.

Home has 4 bedrooms- primary bedroom has king bed and bath with double vanity and walk-in shower on the main level. Lower level has two bedrooms with queen beds (each with a bath), a kids room with queen bed and 1 twin size. A queen sofa bed. Sleeps a maximum of 11 including children. Limit 10 adults, children over the age of 3 are considered an adult per Franklin County. Great room, kitchen, sun room, laundry and 1/2 bath on the main level. Family room on lower level.
Pet friendly with a fee of $100.00 per pet. Owner/Agent

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful last minute getaway. The property was perfect! The dock was amazing. The beach was perfect for dogs getting in and out of water. So many areas to relax and enjoy!

Our week stay was amazing, check in was easy, the house had all the amenities we needed for our family of 9. The kitchen had plenty of space to prepare the meals. The house was super clean, but, we did not spend a whole lot of time in the house, we spent most of the time on the dock and we ate all our dinners on the dock as well. Plenty of seating by the water. We made many memories this week. Thank you

Perfect in every way!

Our family of 5 was joined by our extended family (grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins for a long weekend. The home could not have been more amazing. Sylvia has thought of everything to make it a great getaway. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. The beach and dock/amenities were everything we could ask for - adults and kids. We had a blast and hope to go back. Thank you!

I enjoyed seeing this sweet family enjoying our home as we would. On Easter morning the grandparents hiding Easter eggs with bunny ears on and the grandkids so excited when one found the golden egg with $10.00 inside. Creating lasting memories!

Gorgeous Property!

Your own spacious private beach with kayaks, paddle boards & pedal boat, plus 3000 sq ft partially covered dock house with variety of seating, several outdoor dining tables & large U shaped granite bar, highlight the outdoor living areas of the property. The spacious home offers lake views from majority of rooms. Plenty of open play area on the beach, plus a beach fire pit with surrounding comfortable seating. Meticulously maintained grounds, large upper level gated deck, lower level patio, inviting lighted brick pathways. We never left, other than to pick up food, as plenty to do for the whole family of all ages on site. Main Level features generous primary suite with king bed, full bath and closet area, living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, sunroom, half bath and laundry room. Lower level has game room with ping pong & pool table, separate TV area with sofa bed, 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and one with 2 twins and a twin trundle, plus two full bathrooms. Game room & two of the lower level bedrooms have beautiful lake views including amazing sunrises! One of the homeowners seemed very nice when he popped by for a visit while we were renting the house. The other owner kept in touch via text asking if we needed anything. Our whole family enjoyed our time staying there. I recommend this property to rent.

Beautiful home and grounds

We celebrated Thanksgiving here with 7 adults, two small children and our dogs. It is spacious and very well-equipped. Kitchen and grill made it easy to prepare our turkey dinner and the dining room easily accommodated all of us. With kayaks, fire pits, and plenty of games and toys available, everyone has a great time! The home is spacious and allows for gathering and privacy.

This property is absolutely amazing! Very private. Beach, boathouse and fire pit made for a perfect quiet getaway. The Pagans were great host’s and provided a few extra personal touches that were awesome! We’ll be back.

Better than advertised

The property was absolutely gorgeous. They have upgraded the backyard to have a wonderful illuminated path way. The host family is absolutely wonderful. They were always there for us. The house was Immaculate and the kitchen amenities were more than ample. We have two large doodles and they absolutely enjoy them self running on the 7 + acres and swimming in the jetty. We highly recommend this property and host. We think you will be most satisfied with what you get.

Beautiful Lake House for our Family

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Smith Mtn Lake. We spent most of our time on the beach and at the dock house and had amazing sunny, fall weather. This house had plenty of water toys and beach games to keep us busy. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and made smores. Our dogs had a great time too and we made great family memories! We hope to be back!!

Beautiful property and very family friendly

We loved our stay at this property. We are two families with two girls each that usually travel together as a group. We really enjoyed the layout of the house and the amazing boathouse. We spent almost more time in the boathouse and on the beach than in the house itself. The location of the house was on a very private and scenic piece of land. It is also on a less busy part of the lake, so not a lot of traffic going by on the water. We enjoyed the sunrise over the water every morning. And evenings on the dock. The kids spent hours every day on the paddle boards and paddleboat. We also rented a pontoon from one of the marinas for the week that we docked at the boathouse - it allowed us to explore the lake and go out to lunch and dinner at the local restaurants. We spent a few evenings by the fire pit on the beach. The house was well stocked with dishes and cooking ware. The property owners were very responsive and you can tell they care a lot about their property. We are hoping to come back to the house maybe next year. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful week!

Unique dream lake house. This house was perfect for our family vacation of 7 + infant and toddler. The dock is the nicest on the lake and we ended up spending most of our time there. Beach area is great. Sylvia was a wonderful host and available to answer any questions.

Wonderful time with Grandkids

we really appreciated all the amenities. being able to bring our dogs was important - the dogs enjoyed the water too. the dock was amazing, and so peaceful, the beach was enjoyed by grandkids

Perfect for small getaway

We met up with friends for a long weekend at the lake. Five kids in tow between the two families, all under six. Everyone had a great time. The private beach is great, the home is spacious and well apportioned, and the owners were easy to work with. Highly recommended.

It was great for 2 college friends to come together with their families and pets. I was glad that they could be together after a year and their children could spend time together on vacation.

Beautiful property!

This property is amazing! The house is spotless, spacious and inviting and had everything we needed. The location on the lake is phenomenal - private and secluded with a large beach area and an absolutely amazing dock! Our stay was in December, but had we been here during a warmer season we would have lived on the dock! Also, we can't say enough about how gracious and helpful the hosts are. We highly recommend this property if you're looking for a great lake vacation!

Amazing and wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay - so many great aspects to it, I'm not sure where to start! Our hosts were warm and welcoming and their home is well equipped for a very comfortable stay. We cooked every night and had everything we needed for meal prep and enjoyment. The location on the lake is perfect - our sunrise photos are awesome! We spent time at the boathouse every day and really enjoyed getting out on the kayaks and paddleboards. The firepit on the beach was the perfect way to conclude each day, and we were well stocked with wood. And while the four adults had a great time, I think our dog had the biggest blast of all of us. Running around the yard, hanging out on the deck or the boat dock, lounging in the lake - she slept for two days when we got home, LOL. We were sad to leave, and will definitely be back.

Mike grew up on a tobacco farm in Union Hall before the lake was built. After getting married and when our children were 3 & 5 we moved from Rocky Mount back to Union Hall. We enjoy the serenity and slow pace of the Southside of the lake.

We are on almost 8 acres of land with over 1,000 ft of waterfrontage on the main channel and a cove giving privacy. The home is a gentle walk to the lake and our private beach.
