Fantastic Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a spacious, well located place where we spent a week. The property manager was easy to deal with. The place was clean though some of the finishes, especially in the bathrooms, could use a refresh. Would recommend overall and would rent again.

We had a great stay at the Sea'battical. Great location overlooking the ocean and convenient for all parts of SoCal. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place

Loved the condo with a front row balcony to view the ocean! Comfy beds and linens. Clean. 2 bed/2 bath. Fabulous complex with pool and hot tub. Very, very quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Stairs to beach at the end of the complex. Easy check-in and check-out. Great communication via Stubbs the property management company. I booked on VRBO but Stubbs is more direct and they manage the property,There are two parking spots but beware, they are very tight parking spots between pillars. Also it has a condo above it. Hopefully you get lucky with quiet upstairs people, we were not so lucky.

Amazing place, Amazing location

This place was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Listening to the sound of the waves as you fall asleep every night is enchanting.

Nice oceanfront condo with excellent view

We were in the area for daughter's wedding and this was a very nice place to have other out of town guests come visit. Very comfortable and clean except for some tiny ants in both bathrooms. Only other complaint is the parking space is very tight with concrete posts on both sides that we actually hit with our rental car, but it was a minivan. Maybe ok for a compact car. Overall, nice place with beautiful ocean view.

can't beat the view and beach access

Overall very happy. Seems like the complex is aging a bit - the 2x6 fascia board of the condo above us broke off and landed in our yard, the guest bath shower handle broke off and could not be repaired, there were a lot of ants. (On the plus side, Stubbs responded right away and fixed the fascia, and tried to fix the shower.) Solana beach tap water is not great - maybe install a water purifier? But it's got great views of white water, and I love the sound of the surf at night. Pool and tennis courts were great. Stubbs had tennis rackets for us to use. Short walk to the beach with a stroller, even shorter walk if you like the 115 stairs. We loved it, and we recommend it, and we'd go back.

Relaxing stay in Solana Beach

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a perfect fit for our week long stay. Easy to get too, clean, great views and plenty to do around the area. Beds were comfortable and furniture was well maintained for a rental property. Linens provided were clean, plush and in good condition. Kitchen provided enough plates, utensils and amenities to make sure stay more comfortable. Not having AC was not an issue with the ocean breeze and two fans were provided. Parking spots are extremely tight with cement pillars so if you have a larger car beware. Was not happy to see any traps everywhere in the condo however we only say 2-3 ants during our stay. The views are breathtaking and with so much to do in the area we did not spend much time in the condo.

First the view of the ocean is fabulous. Loved the walk ability to restaurants and ease of Uber. Bathrooms our original and outdated but the place is still worth the view. Lots of steps to navigate the property.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While stubbs indicated the condo was dated, what disappointed us was how dirty the condo was. The plates, dishes, silverware, and pots/pans were greasy and full of stains. There was also limited funcitonal utensils. Also a window shade was broken, a closet door was broken, a shower head and drain were broken. I will say that stubbs was resonsive and addressed all of the broken features. The view is gorgeous. The grounds of the complex are nice and no complaints about location.

Spectacular Ocean View but Property Needs a Refresh

Reviewer Comments: We were delighted with Stubbs and our experience with the personnel there. They were quick to help us out with problems in the unit and they did tell us that property needed renovation. The furnishings are comfortable but the bathrooms felt cramped and dirty and the appliances did not work well. The grill was too dirty to use, there was an ant infestation. The parking stalls for this unit are very narrow-we'd recommend a compact car or smaller if someone is renting. We wanted an ocean view and the ocean didn't disappoint, Solana Beach is a lovely place to stay.

Spring Break Getaway

Reviewer Comments: We have rented through Stubbs several times now and the location of all the rentals including this one at Solana Beach and Tennis Club can't be beat. Quick access to the beach, walk to shops and fantastic restaurants. The views of the Pacific are worth the price of admission every time. There are two things that rubbed me with this experience. First, the pool was being resurfaced. This is advertised as an amenity and something I believe I pay for as part of the rental. I was not given a heads up on this and found out as we went to the pool for a swim and seriously disappointed my daughter. You need to give a guy a heads up on this. Very disappointing and frustrating; especially for a child. A simple heads up to your guests and a repeat customer is expected. This is something you should be aware of Stubbs. Second, part of the experience and amenities is the secure, covered, close and convenient parking. We were unable to utilize the garage or parking for the last 3 days due to the other buildings getting fumigated. We were not informed of this by Stubbs until the morning of and literally minutes before we almost were locked out and unable to retrieve our car and move it to the street. We were not even at the condo when Stubbs called. We were at the beach with no service. If we would have been locked out, we would not been able to get the car out as the buildings were fully wrapped. When I contacted Stubbs about my concerns there was no empathy for me as a repeat guest. We were told to find a spot on the street or at the garage across the street, and they were more concerned about how they were affected than me as a guest. I was left to feel unimportant with no option or anything to resolve the issue; a lost amenity that again I was not given a heads up and just about lost access to my car until 3 days after our checkout. Furthermore, I was told that since it did not affect my building that it didnt matter which tells me Stubbs was aware.

Great unit that needs a little TLC

The unit is comfortable and clean but needs a little TLC with the older showers, appliances in kitchen and outdoor furniture. There was also an ant problem in all rooms. The master bedroom is spacious and the main room very nice. The unit was clean and the property managers were responsive.

Our rental was clean, large, well equipped, had a good ocean view, and was reasonably priced. Some items in the kitchen do need replacement. We would stay there again.

Oceanfront and what a beach!

Property is older but the location makes you forget everything except the views and the sand. Everything within walking distance including great coffee shops and a nice choice of restaurants. The beach that runs almost 4km in front of the property is exceptional. We walked at Torrey Pines for exercise and on “ our beach” for pleasure. Our trip included a lot of hiking and Solana Beach is a great central point for heading inland to hike around Escondido, Poway and the Mission Hills. Location, location, location…….. loved every minute.

The space was large and perfect for my family of 4 and the occasional extended family that would come visit us which is why we were in town. Beautiful views, we didn't have great weather but it was still lovely to watch the surf and sunsets. The rental details were easy and we loved having access to the heated pool and jacuzzi.
