This house was built in 2014 with all the bells and whistles. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with smart TV’s in each room. New 65” tv in living room. The 3rd bedroom has its own private bathroom giving you a 2nd master option. The pool has a spa along with a heater that can heat the pool or the spa when desired. The kitchen has all stainless appliances along with a separate beverage fridge. There are several places to eat and shop within 5 minutes of the house. There is a king bed in the master, queen in the 2nd master and two twin beds in the guest bedroom. The house has a table for outdoor dining and relaxing. There are 5 bikes provided for those that want to get a little fresh air during their stay. If you are looking for a place to get away and watch the fish jump in the canal, this is the place for you.

Lovely home for a quick getaway

Relaxing vacation

House is just as described, very clean and everything worked as expected. The neighborhood is very quiet and we really enjoyed riding the bikes that are supplied every day. The pool is heated and very relaxing. We did not use the hot tub but it was clean and usable. The canal is very relaxing to watch the fish jump around . Overall I think if your looking for a quiet place to stay out of the way of all the hustle and bustle but stilll close enough to be there in 30 min drive then this is the house for you.

Nice house to relax at

Nice and quiet location off the busy streets. House space was great for our family of 4 with bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen, family room, and lanai were spacious to lounge around and relax. The family room couch is pretty worn with stains and such on it (a bit disgusting looking from our opinion). The wine/beverage fridge does not work, which was a perk we saw when booking and saw in it in the pictures. Overall than those 2 things, this is a great house that Jeff has!

Great property

The home was beautiful - well laid out for multiple families. The access to the canal in the backyard for fishing was awesome. The kids caught many kinds of fish just outside the door. The kitchen was well stocked. The home was nicely decorated and very clean. It was great to walk in and have toilet paper, dish soap and paper towels supplied. The only negative was that the hot tub heater wasn’ t working for 5 of the seven days. The owner was responsive and tried to help - finally sending someone out to fix it. Otherwise the pool area was very nice.

Nice house in the Cape

House is large and roomy, but needs updated linens, towels and cleaning. The pool and spa are nice, but there were no pool toys or floats available. Outside tiles around pool need work as they are uneven in areas and could be a tripping issue. We enjoyed our stay…place just needs a little TLC.

Great property!

Great property and our family had a wonderful time. Only issue we had was our dishwasher was backed up with a horrible smell and was never drained. It only smelled when you open the dishwasher. We text Jeff to let him know the situation and it was never handled. However, even with that situation I still give this place a five star Jeff was great with assisting and other things like helping us, operate the hot tub and pool temperature. This place was well stocked with utensils, and other needy items as well. Great place recommend very much.

Great stay, but could use a little TLC!

We had a great stay overall the kids loved the pool and being on the channel where we caught two fish! The house and property could use some TLC. The fridge had a fishy odor, we found some dead bugs, weeds growing out of the cracks in the patio, fans that didn’t work, no chlorine in the pool (we even looked in the garage to add some ourselves), and the room where my kids stayed had some condensation from the air vent and something black on the ceiling directly next to the vent itself (as well as a few other vents in the house) A little TLC and the house would be perfect!

Good not great

Upon arrival at the house there was not one square of toilet paper or any paper towels nor any trash bags. We don’t mind getting these things, but a little notification that we would need it immediately would have been great. The pool area was very disappointing. Grease from the grill leaking out, a dirty grill, beer bottle tops on the ground, ripped out and tattered screens and the owner was aware the pool person didn’t turn on the pool heater and we got were expected to figure it out. There were several lights out in the house as well as the main patio light. There was no check in or check out procedures or any house information book. We have rented several homes from VRBO and other companies and this is the first time we have been just left to figure things out. Cannot say we will book this home again.

Great house: Poor Amenities and Owner Response

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning of the 7 day stay: The grill leaked gas. I texted, sent photos and videos, and attempted to call the owner. He asked us to go to Home Depot and swap the tank. This did not work. Grill still leaked, filling house and patio with gas. Spa. When it was turned on, it drained. It auto refilled with cold water in the morning, but spa was effectively nonoperational. Could use spa for about 10 minutes before the water level was too low. I advised the owner that we would not be at the house all day Monday through Tuesday afternoon. Nothing was fixed during this time. After repeated attempts to contact the owner, I was advised he had given my contact info to the grill repair guy, and that "the spa was fixed". It was not. We rented this house with a goal of spending the majority of our time relaxing here. Too much of my time was spent texting the owner and multiple calls to HomeAway. I wasted several hundred dollars of food that was purchased for the grill. We had hoped to wake and relax in the spa, but this was out of the picture daily as we had to wait for it to refill at 7:45 am, then heat. We even changed our travel plans and spent 36 hours out of the house, with the hope of having these issues fixed for the remainder of our trip. But this did not happen. Nor did the owner attempt to contact us with an update. Instead, we arrived back to the property with an empty spa and a grill that leaked gas. But, the owner asked us to leave a good review. The goal of this vacation was ruined, our money and time on this property was wasted. The owner cannot buy back our time, and as of over 100 hours from checking out, has not reimbursed us for the items he asked us to buy or the rent we wasted. This vacation was only for one week: from Saturday through Wednesday we went without these amenities. The grill leak was fixed Wednesday, and two of the three burners worked. If you stay here, don't use the ice maker, it's full of mold. The back door to the side yard locks with a screw. After being told by the owner that I needed to speak with the spa technician, we overrode the timer and "fixed the spa". (I had to FaceTime the spa tech for repairs.) From that point forward, the pool was spa temp and the spa was usually cool. Note: when operational, the spa is on a timer and only works from 8-5pm. So yes, the house itself is great. But don't plan on amenities. I still have not received a reply from the owner

Perfect house for a sibling gathering

Fantastic house with so many amenities, we didn't need to stock up as much at the store. Great location to dine at restaurants very close by and also cook a special dinner since everything we needed, was there. Beautiful canal view and perfect pool with hotub. Spacious house with three full baths is a bonus. Our host was great and made everything so easy to checkin, we were able to settle in quickly. We definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to stay in a very clean, roomy & welcoming house.

It was great!

This place is great to stay with family. It sleeps 6 comfortably and the views were excellent. We enjoyed the spa and pool and we even fished from the deck. There were a few hiccups trying to figure out the disposal and how to heat up the pool but I did inform the owner Jeff and he made himself available and gave us his cell. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful

We had a great stay. Pool was wonderful and warm. Facilities were terrific. Only minor suggestion would be a more complete set of instructions for operating the hot tub and pool.

The location was wonderful to access all the area has to do. The property is in excellent condition and the pool and hot tub are wonderful. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place!

This place was simply amazing. Beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed bike riding in the quiet neighborhood and loved the pool and spa. Would definitely stay here again!
