First time visit to Gozo

From start to finish our stay at The Olives was amazing. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed. Tracey from Baron Homes was so helpful, kind and knowledgable.

Fantastic villa in ideal quiet location

This is an amazing villa. Spacious, clean and modern whilst being in typical style of this beautiful village in Gozo. The pool was large and all of the outdoor areas were well maintained. The air conditioning throughout was excellent and very welcome in the heat. The villa is well equipped with everything you need and we took advantage of the water cooler package which was well worth it. This villa is just outside the village of San Lawrenz which has a small local store and a brilliant restaurant. It is under a mile to a larger shop and there is an artisan village nearby with a good coffee shop and patisserie/gellateria. The bus stop is right outside the villa and we managed without a car. It is not as remote as we thought it would be and there are beautiful countryside and coastal views. We cannot recommend the Olives highly enough. Communication with baron holiday homes was also excellent. Nothing

A perfect stay

We stayed at the Olives Holiday Home and I can't recommend it enough. The villa is very beautiful, spacious and clean. It is exactly like in the pictures. It has breathtaking views and everything you need. Tracey was extremely helpful. We are definitely going to use Baron for future trips!

Recommendable !

Very nice location, good service, everything perfect. It would be helpful to allow guests to leave unused spices in the kitchen, check them through the housekeeping and leave them for subsequent guests to use. Guests would appreciate this and it would be ecologically beneficial.

Another wonderful holiday

Gozo provides our ideal setting for a holiday and the villa is perfect for our family. We again experienced the wonderful service of the Baron team. Nothing is too much trouble as they seek to ensure their guests have the best possible holiday. In short - wonderful accommodation, excellent facilities, exemplary service from the friendliest of people. The parasols are past their best.

Wir durften eine wunderschöne Woche in der traumhaften Villa verbringen! Von aussen scheint die Unterkunft eher unscheinbar, aber die Innenräume sowie die Poolanlage / der Garten sind ein Traum! Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, wir haben zu 8 (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt abgelegen und ist entsprechend sehr ruhig. Für alle, die einen geruhsamen Urlaub bevorzugen, ist dieses Haus ein Traum. Donald, der Betreuer, ist kompetent, sehr nett und stets hilfsbereit, so wie alle anderen Ansprechpartner, mit denen wir zu tun hatten. Wir bekamen bei Bedarf sofort Unterstützung. Wir können The Olives nur weiterempfehlen.

Schönes geräumiges Haus mit großem Pool

Es ist ein sehr schönes und geräumiges Haus. Alles ist gepflegt und es ist alles an Equipment zum Kochen da. Alle Zimmer haben ein eigenes Bad. Zum Haus gehört auch ein eigener großer Pool. Der Service war erstklassig und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Lage mit sehr schöner Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und werden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Lovely Pool and Garden

The pool and garden area of the property were excellent. The water was always sparklingly clear indicating it was well maintained. The garden was attractive and provided a secluded and private setting for bathing. There were plenty of sunbeds and a good sized table and chairs for dining outdoors. Good outdoor lighting was available for evenings on the patio. Inside the open plan living area was spacious with comfortable seating and a good dining area. The modern kitchen was well equipped and clean and tidy. The air conditioning throughout the property was efficient in keeping rooms cool. The bedrooms were large and airy with appropriate storage. Unfortunately we found the beds hard and the pillows uncomfortable, either too hard or very flat. The bathrooms were well designed, clean and pleasant . The organisation of the rental was friendly and efficient, and there was always someone to answer the phone and assist if we needed help. The location of the villa was quiet and village very attractive. Lovely sea views from the large upstairs balcony and superb sunsets.

Gozo is great

Very large and well equiped villa in a quiet location, but still close enough to restaurants and shops, some even walkable (but then everywhere on Gozo is within about a 20 minute drive!). Maintenance and admin are only an email or phone call away and are very responsive. No complaints but watch the shower doors - they are a little temperamental and we did have one accident.

Amazing stay in Gozo: Luxury, space & comfort

The Olives is highly recommended. The spacious farmhouse in Gozo offers a big family or group of families an extremely comfortable stay that is complemented by luxury finishes. The outside area is a big pro - it offered the young kids ample space to explore and play. We were 8 adults in the Olives - all with small kids - and didn't feel cramped in the house. There is a huge open plan living area (two) and big kitchen. The property was very clean and well-maintained. One of the greatest experiences at the Olives was dealing with The Baron Holiday Home Group. From the first enquiry to the end of our stay - the service was excellent. Donald & Ferdi both delivered beyond expectation services. They were always immediately available on call, extremely helpful, courteous and it really felt like we were their no 1 priority! During our stay, we struggled with locking one of our doors and they were promptly there to assist us for e.g. I can't fault their service in one area. Thank you and we will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.
