We arrived at a wonderful house with character; there was absolutely nothing missing. We immediately felt "at home"! That was also thanks to our host... From the very first minute, Frank was interested in making sure that we didn't lack anything. We are more than grateful for his support, hospitality, helpfulness and friendliness. It really couldn't be better! The only thing that was sad was how short our stay was 🥲

This lovely property is up the hill from the main port in Mgarr in Gozo and is very well equipped and spacious. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and main living space are a godsend. we travelled in in july and the temperatures were 40C on several days!!! We didnt need a car as the nearby bus stop took you directly to the gorgeous sandy Ramla beach (go to the right end of the beach for the best sands and lovely snorkelling).We arrived late on a friday evening & were greeted by the host - with wine and food as well as a tour of the houses amenities and some excellent tips on how to get around the island.The views from the balconies & terraces are fantastic - its wonderful to watch the ferries and boats come and go from the harbour. You can also clearly see the famous blue lagoon from the terraces! There was a gas BBQ on the terrace and plenty of associated equipment in the kitchen so we ate on the roof and played family games into the night. This is a lovely place to stay. Its easy to get around Gozo and there is plenty to see and do for a week.The villa has beach equipment available as well as the bikes. Be aware that the villa is half way up a pretty steep hill - we elected not to bike in the summer heat even though we are all fit and active. The nearest supermarket is also a bit of a walk away - but opening hours are long and its well equipped. We'd recommend this property for its high standards & the host for his communication & helpfulness.
