Joe and his wife gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, following excellent communication leading up to our stay, which was a very last minute booking. The property and its location are simply stunning, with the pool being an absolute highlight. It offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway, yet Gozo provides plenty of adventures if you want to explore. For those who prefer to cook, the modern kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped (we enjoyed a mix of dining out and cooking in). The villa is also just a short walk from the town square, which features two great eateries, and a local shop. Reliable hot water, pool towels and bathroom towels provided, and no need to take adapters as all plugs are same as UK. Magical sunset views right from the property, we truly cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Joe and his wife were very generous hosts. The cleanliness, the personal check-in were great examples that showed how much they cared for our experience. Joe was very responsive to any communication during our stay . The property is full of character, well equipped, spotlessly clean and a location that provides a fantastic view of the sunsets the local area is famed for by the wonderful pool. A short walk (3-5 mins) to the small town square with church, 2 restaurants, offering different dining experiences and bus stops that provides cheap easy access into Victoria, and beyond. It’s a quiet town, but of course some traffic as buses, farmers and tourists visit the Dwerja for diving, sunsets and views . We loved it and thank Joe and his wife for allowing us to stay.

Great property in a truly stunning location. Very clean and well stocked. Bedrooms would easily sleep 8 people and plenty of outdoor seating /dining space to accommodate 8 guests. Hosts were super helpful and very responsive. Highly recommend staying here vs the busier island of Malta. If traveling in cooler months only minor comment to note is that indoor comfortable seating space really only accommodates 4 people.

Absolutely fantastic! The house was perfect, the pool and the sunsets were incredible and the location was ideal - close to restaurants, water activities, historical buildings and beaches, yet peaceful and quiet. We had a car and loved driving around Gozo - the people are so friendly and helpful!Joe was a great host - we would definitely recommend his beautiful house!

Great location, but some of our group were content to just “chill” at the villa! Our host even showed us how get the World Cup mathes on TV

Joe and his wife were amazing ..best place in Gozo /malta/ great restaraunt nearby in the cove with mojito sundowners from the kiosks ..felt welcome and looked after in traditional old building with modern comforts excellent pool excellent view ...top spot ..its a bit rustic and outside link to rooms but we worked well in it ...its private its great ...its not a fancy 5 star hotel on the costa lotta ..its a very relaxing home ..perfect .

My wife and I recently stayed for 8 nights at the "Farmhouse ".Joe and Mary, the owners, welcomed us to the property and gave us a very good orientation.They proved to be excellent hosts and were always available (by message) to answer any question.A very nice couple!The property and house are both amazing. An old renovated stone building that has everything you will need. The highlight is the pool and deck area which is very large and private. We spent every afternoon by the pool during our stay.Joe also organized a car rental for us which was waiting on our arrival. He also booked transfers to and from the airport in Malta.If you have the opportunity to stay at this property, don't hesitate. This property is honestly one of the best we have ever stayed at.

Perfect vacation place!

We had wonderful time in this Gozo villa. Very good location, very welcoming owner, gave us useful advices about restaurants, grocery stores, car hire. The property is very nice, great pool, very beautiful decorated rooms- with antiques, rustic style.

Vila is located in calm area, it was relaxing experience. To be noticed, vila has charming character, you feel quite special being in this place. Everything looks in harmony and quite authentic. Biggest advantages for us: pool next to dinning and kitchen - easy to manage kids, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, cozy inner garden.

We had a really lovely stay in Joe’s property in St Lawrenz. The house is a beautiful as the pictures suggest and is well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure we were comfortable. The location was great for us too. A couple of restaurants within 5 minutes walk and all of Gozo is easily drivable, but still quiet enough to be relaxing.

A wonderful house and great location

This house is the perfect holiday rental. Beautiful pool and house, kitchen excellent fittings and a five minute walk to village shop and restaurant. Joe is a brilliant host, arranging car rental and taxi to airport. Loved everything and hope to return in the future.

Perfect setting

The most perfect setting to take in the Gozo sunsets. A quiet, immaculate and spacious property, kitchen was very well equipped for self-catering, a great restaurant and friendly and well-stocked village shop in the square just down the road. A gem of a place, we wish we could have stayed for longer, but maybe next time...

The property was amazing, fairly recently renovated and a very comfortable house to stay in. Better than the photos. Old style but with a modern kitchen and comfortable furniture. Lovely pool and comfortable pool area and very nice view over the sea and the sunsets.Location was great, close to the coast and on the West side of Gozo, we could also walk to the village in 5 minutes which had several cafes and restaurants. Hosts were very helpful, met us when we arrived and left.Would very much recommend, and would stay again on our next trip to Gozo.

A very lovely farm house stunning views out over the fields to the sea

This is a lovely farm house well maintained and with good facilities. It is situated on the edge of St. Lawernz but only a 5 minute walk back to the town square. The garden and pool as superb and have the sun all day. We will be coming back.

September in San Lawrenz

We spent a very enjoyable week at this villa. Joe is an excellent, welcoming and supportive host. The villa is spacious and well equipped. The pool is just lovely, with plenty of seating and sunset views. A short walk to the centre of San Lawrenz and within easy striking distance from the inland sea, beaches and Victoria.

Fantastic villa with pool in a stunning location

Very comfortable and well-equipped villa with everything you might need, including a travel cot and high chair. We enjoyed the fabulous swimming pool and watched some stunning sunsets over the sea from the patio. The villa is located about a 10 minute drive west of Victoria and within walking distance of beautiful Dwejra on the coast. Joe was very helpful and prompt with responses and able to arrange airport transfers and car hire. Highly recommend staying here and plan to return next time we visit Gozo.

Stunning!

Had the privilege of spending a few days at Tal-Bjar Farmhouse in San Lawrenz, GOZO. Visualize living in a beautiful victorian era castle and you might get an idea. Very well equipped with all your modern amenities and to add an extra wow...15 minute walk to the Azure Window. Loved, loved, loved it! Will definitely be back.

Super villa in a great area of Gozo

Stayed at Tal-Bjar villa / farmhouse with a family of 5 in late October for a week. It's beautifully secluded, full of character and well equipped. This was our 2nd visit as the kids loved the pool so much last year. The house is just down the road from the Blue Hole which has amazing views and great snorkelling. Joe is super organised and arranged for a taxi from the airport plus a hired car to be delivered to the house. 5 stars for the house and 5 stars for the Joe! :-)

unbelievably beautiful

We really appreciated our stay at Gozo as well as at this really magnificant house with all its beauty and extraordinary location at the edge of little San Lawrenz village. The big terrace with pool and unspoilt view on the sea was our beloved place. Also charme and use of the different rooms (every bedroom with its own bath) being of real pleasure for us. Joe invited us with an open gesture and always had an ear for any questions we have had. All in all a perfect stay in a great surrounding - only the one week stay was far too short...

À wonderful stay in a beautiful property!

We booked a very special birthday celebration with my sons at this property and couldn’t have been more pleased and indeed very happy. All the facilities one could possibly need and a delightful host who kept us informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and Joe even left us some welcome goodies so that we didn’t need to dash around getting provisions on arrival. All of the rooms had an en-suite with air conditioning available which was needed as it was lovely and warm during our stay. The pool and garden area is one of the loveliest I’ve seen And everything was spotlessly clean. We are all agreed that we will definitely go back next time we visit. Thank you Joe x
