Make a getaway to iconic Orlando for classic family memories! For first time guests, here is an overview of Villa:

'Villa Vedanta' is located in the upscale, high-security Solterra Resort in Davenport, only 15min drive from Disney, 2min away from local shopping conveniences and 1min walk to the delux Solterra Clubhouse providing our Guests with FREE access to all amenities:

Full Cardio Gym, Two Tennis Courts, Infinity Pool with slide and Life-Guard on Duty, Children's Soccer Park and..... Lazy River and On site Restaurant "Cafe Sol".

Our guests have described our home as luxurious. It has 6 bedrooms, an added Game-sroom, 3.5 bathrooms and unique features like an extra large pool deck and the comfort of a master bedroom with its own sliding door opening onto the Pool ;)

There's also the added advantage of having us as Owners, on call to take care of you, 24/7... but we'll let our reviews speak for themselves.

After building the home, we spared no detail in furnishing and decorating our home with the taste and conveniences that we have come to expect as World-Travellers. Families with little Children will find our home especially welcoming as we have thought of everything that Parents need to keep little hands and feet comfortable on holiday ... because we are Parents like you ;)

Here's how our Travel Journalist friend described our home:

Ground Level:
Upon entry there is a stunning 'formal' dining area that caters for at least six guests in an indoor garden setting with contrasted seating, mirrored accents and an archway view through to the kitchen.

The Designer Kitchen:
All you can think of at your fingertips! Dark cherry wood cabinets, granite counter tops and brushed stainless appliances, a spacious island with double sinks and bar seating for two people, large fridge/freezer with filtered water/ice dispenser, pantry and a separate high top triangular breakfast table seating six will enable a large family or two family groups to cater in style. There are plenty of storage cupboards and a dedicated Food Pantry.

Around the corner is a nifty and separate Laundry Room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

The Family Living Room:
Large and bright from sunrise to sunset with unobstructed views of a tranquil conservation and lake. You can unwind in style on a large corner sectional leather sofa with powered recliner seats and cup holders, perfect for kicking back and relaxing after a fast-paced day at the parks. There is a wall mounted 47” flat screen TV, BlueRay DVD player and cable with 99 channels.

Extended Pool Deck & Patio:
The living room opens graciously onto the extra-sized pool-deck, shimmering pool and jetted spa, offering you eye-level views of the sculpted garden and bullrush-lined lake with its resident ducks, birds and squirrels.

The spacious patio deck and pool are fully screened with a lanai, in order to provide protection from bugs.

Uber comfy chocolate and silver fabric create a lush flow from the interior of the home to the outdoors. With two reclining sun loungers, two reclining sun chairs with footstools and two children’s chairs, just lie back and enjoy the glorious Florida sunshine as you gaze over the water and conservation beyond. Ample deck space for yoga and other poolside fun.

The owners' attention to detail in your experience ensure breezy breakfasts and sunset suppers for 12-14 guests dining together. After all it's about you as guests, savouring memorable highlights in your bustling day as you select your fast-pass favourites or reflect on the magical days you've just shared as family and friends.

Especially for our international and out of state guests, enjoy free WIFI, cable and long distance international calling.

Master Bedroom 1:
The ground floor of this property offers the first Master Suite featuring a king-size storage bed with spacious drawers, dressed in crisp white cotton bedding, extra-large walk in closet, wall mounted 47” flatscreen TV, en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, twin basins and WC. This room is ideal if you are traveling with elderly or physically challenged guests. The owners specifically upgraded this bedroom with sliding patio doors allowing for convenient entry and exit from the pool-deck and a beautiful bedside-view of the pool, lake, conservation and sunset.

This is also the perfect room for Parents with little ones as the huge Jacuzzi bath-tub is perfect for bathing your little ones. And there is ample room for your crib or pack-n-play for bed-time.

Guest Half-Bath:
The ground floor also includes a half bathroom with basin and WC for guest convenience.

Upper Level:
A carpeted staircase leads up to the Leisure area which is surrounded by the 5 remaining Bedrooms.

Bedroom 2 is a twin bedded room with soft blue hues, double closet and wall mounted 24” flatscreen TV. This bedroom shares a ‘Jack and Jill’ style bathroom with Bedroom 3.

Bedroom 3 is a decadent double room featuring a silver-top panel queen bed with seaside ambience. It's a room with a view over the pool deck and lake, with a double closet and wall mounted 32” flatscreen TV.

The seaside themed Jack and Jill style bathroom has twin basins, extra large cupboard and separate bath/shower and WC for added guest convenience.

Bedroom 4 is a double room with white queen size sleigh bed with extra storage, dressed in a 'ruffle garden' quilt. This cheerful bedroom with double closet and 32” flatscreen TV, offers you a stirring view over the pool, conservation and sunset.

Bedroom 5 is a twin bedded room with stylish white book-case beds decked in bright coral coloured quilts. Ample storage for your convenience with dresser and double closet. This room also features a wall mounted 24” flatscreen TV.

Bedroom 6 is the second Master Bedroom in this home. Prepare to be awoken by tranquil sunrises and bird-song in this 'royal' double bedroom on a sumptuous ornate queen bed with matching dresser and mirror, wall mounted 32” flatscreen TV and double closet.

The shared bathroom with nature decor has single basin, bath/shower and WC.

Leisure Area:
All the bedrooms on the upper level open onto the Leisure Area. Enjoy more family fun after your theme park adventures with XBOX 360. Or wind down with a must-see movie or Karaoke Channel. Suitable for all ages, let the children choose from a selection of music themed toy props as they get 'on-stage' in a round of Karaoke or immerse themselves in creating a Thomas & Friends adventure on a wooden train table.

Games room:
Unwind after an exhausting adventure day in your private games room! Anyone care (big or little) for a competitive round of Air Hockey on a professional sized table?

Or reminisce about your college days when you face your opponents in a friendly game of Pool or Foosball on our arcade sized tables. There's even an array of toys for baby sized hands and feet in the Games-room so no one is left out of the fun....

Solterra Clubhouse:
Solterra resort has a wealth of onsite facilities and a fantastic pool area. The clubhouse is a short walk away and features a large fitness center with top of the line TechnoGym equipment including cardio, weight machines and wall mounted flatscreen TVs, high end communal coffee/conversation room with bar seating, comfortable sofas, welcoming decor and large French doors that open out to the pool area.

The beach-entry pool is perfect for families with little ones and is large enough that more boisterous play can be accommodated at the other end. There is a water slide with rock waterfall fascia, hot jacuzzi, poolside showers and plenty of sun loungers and shaded cabanas. A further outdoor lanai seating area offers plenty of comfortable low tables and chairs, high top bar style tables with stools and chaise/loveseats surrounding an outdoor fireplace. There are also two large, wall mounted flatscreen TVs, as well as a granite worktop and sink area.

Pool Heat is a utility cost and hence is not included in the nightly rate.
Pool heat is not advised during the warmer Summer months, May through late September. Most guests do book during the colder months, late Sept through to mid-May. The current Pool Heat rate is $30 p/n. You do not need to pay for pool heat upfront in your reservation - best to pay a few days before check-in. via the VRBO system.
