Fully Furnished 3 bedroom 3 bathroom private home with a heated pool. Brand new screened in lanai as of November 15, 2018. This home has southern exposure that allows for plenty of sunshine on your private lanai. It is minutes away from the Marriott's public beach access. It is located near restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment. Newer furnishings through out the house will provide you with a luxurious stay. It is well maintained and will be looking like new when you arrive.

Great House, Perfect Location!

Our 2 Week stay over Christmas & New Years was a quiet, relaxing & comfortable one. The house had all necessities: responsive host, perfect location, garage, heated pool, comfortable beds, cozy couch, clean kitchen & baths, & all beach needs. Great time had by all!

Great Location, Needs Work

917 Maple Ave We arrived on a Friday and had NO TV or heated pool for 4 days. Showers were updated and nice. The pool area and furniture NEEDS WORK! The pool area is infested with spiders that will spin a web about you as you sit in the area. All dishes, glasses and silverware had to be washed. Air conditioner works very well, and MIKE the repairman was excellent. Wish I could add pictures.

Marco Island Spring Break with Younger Kids

The house was fantastic. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made for a great set up for my wife and I, my daughter and SIL and 2 grandkids. The house is a short block and a half from the public access to the beach. When we tired of the beach it was back to the house with the heated pool. There is a sliding window from the complete and well furnished kitchen out to the patio around the pool which made for easy movement of foods and dishes back and forth. Having a double garage was very nice since the car was not out in the sun. The garage was large enough to fit our rented extended Jeep Cherokee on an angle. In addition the washer and dryer in the garage was great for drying towels and swimsuits frequently. We would definitely try to get this property again on future Marco Island visits.

FALSE ADVERTISING!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a foul odor which we remedied by purchasing air freshener. The furniture is outdated and some of the dresser drawers need repair. Place looked fairly clean but was proven wrong by the bottoms of our socks! There is a hole in the screen which we remedied with a cup to help keep the lizards out. Lanai and furniture were very dirty however the pool was refreshing and clean! Bedroom closet doors inoperable. Gashed my arm on a damaged dining chair. Bathroom rug was filthy which I immediately removed and left with our dirty towels. Ceiling light in master bath not working (bulbs?) We did manage to make the best of it. Just think that perhaps the cleaning company you use might need to be supervised. If I were the owner, I would want to know but I'm sorry to say it was a bit disappointing as from the pictures and reviews I did not expect the outcome.

Very good, but needs some maintenance

This home's location makes it a winner -- just a short two block-walk to public beach access. It's in a quiet neighborhood. Thanks to the beautiful pool, shaded patio area, and large home layout, the livin' was easy. We liked the large countertop in the dining room with its modem/router and plenty of space for recharging our electronics. There were more than enough towels and linens. Also, two bathrooms have excellent walk-in showers that seem to have been upgraded since the home was built; they have beautiful tile and luxuriant oversized showerheads. Ellen from the rental agency was helpful and professional. The entire rental process was really smooth, and we've rented from many places over the years, so we have lots of experience for comparison. The kitchen worked well for us. Appliances were fine. We appreciated the icemaker/water dispenser in the fridge. There were some drawbacks. The original builder/homeowner took some shortcuts on design. For instance, the lanai screen-room over the pool has a flat roof, which allows piles of leaves to accumulate on top; and the rain gutters are clogged and angled wrong, which creates an unwanted "waterfall" on the patio during a hard rain. Some wiring of the home's lighting was downright weird: a single remote-control unit operates the ceiling light fixtures in both the master bedroom and the living room, and it's quite tricky to turn on or off the fixture you want. Speaking of light fixtures: there were only two little area lamps in the entire house (they're in the master bedroom). Lighting provided by the overhead fixtures is overly harsh. This makes it difficult to read or relax after dark. Some light fixtures didn't work, such as the one over the kitchen sink; maybe it's as simple as a burned-out bulb. Other electrical switches didn't seem to operate anything; labels over these switches would be useful. In the guest bathroom just off the patio, the door screen is torn and the louvered glass is moldy. We would stay here again due to the many positives about this house. However, it'd be nice if the details I've noted were taken care of.

Property is in a great location. Walking distance to beach and near multiple restaurants and bars. The property is in good shape and had all the necessities for a great family trip.

Pretty home. Great location close to beach. Only downside is the neighbors are pretty close and the windows are old, like 80's old. To be fair that is pretty nit picky. Its a nice home, besides the poltergeist, but she was cool too.

Very close to beach access and great pool

We had a great time. The house was bigger than we needed for just two of us but it was so close to the beach access, it was worth it. The pool and screened in area was very nice. We were in the pool a lot and ate at the outside table, grilled out twice. No one was in the homes on either side or behind during our stay so it was so quiet and relaxing. Nice property and would rent it again in the future.

Location is awesome! Close to the beach

The home was great! Needs a little tlc but besides the little things the place was very comfortable and the pool was awesome. Some attention to the bed mattresses and linens would be helpful. My biggest gripe is we just got back and the weather was hot and humid and in the 90’s but yet we were made to pay 250.00 to heat the pool?? I emailed and inquired ahead if this could be waived and I received no email back. A choice should be given this time of year if heated pool is wanted and if not it should be waived. The realty office needs some parking lot lighting for those of us that are arriving late and do not know where the office is, we drove by it many times as there is no lighting on the building. These are small issues and I would def rent the place again if I didn’t have to pay for a heated pool with 100 degree weather!

Love Marco Island

Every year my family spends about a week in Marco Island and I love this area specifically because of beach access. This house is very close to the beach and it is the first time that I can stay at a house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Had a great vacation; would recommend as improvement to have better curtains as the light would wake me up very early in the morning (this was a vacation, so sleeping in would have been nice). Would stay here again without a doubt!

Wonderful pool home close to beach

What a wonderful home just two blocks to a beautiful beach. The house had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and a cart to carry it all. The highlight of the home was the heated pool and beautiful screened in lanai area. We had all ages staying with us from a one year old to seniors and all loved the pool. The house had plenty of beach towels for both beach and pool times. The house was comfortable with the master suite on one side and two bedrooms and two baths on the other side. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need. We would definitely recommend this house, as it was a great family home.

What we loved - proximity to beach, nice quiet neighborhood, lanai and clean heated pool, spacious clean house, lots of beach towels and beach gear (cart, umbrella, toys), property manager was easy to work with. What we didn’t like - only two bikes (one adult and one kid), no supply of the basics like trash bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, no plastic leftover containers or ZipLock bags, no ceiling fan or desk fan in master bedroom (got very warm and every other room in house had a fan!), no instructions regarding how to use TV. Also, sheets on MBR bed were stained in a few places even though they appeared to have been laundered (should be tossed). We would definitely rent again, but would plan to buy more household items at Winn Dixie!

Outdated but clean

The house is grand in size and has an amazing location! Walked to the beach everyday and had plenty of room for our family of 6. However the decor is extremely outdated. Not beachy at all. Older bedding, that I had to wash.The pool was also not covered and a bit scary to be outside in the evening. Just needs a little updating and it could be a gem!

917 Maple Great location and house suited us perfectly.

Great house for us. Close to beach, house was clean and tidy, great Marco location. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, coldest temps in 2 years but we made the best of it and even used the heated pool. The only thing that I would have liked to have had was a cart to haul things to the beach but since temps were cool, it really did not matter. Lanai and patio area were furnished with nice outdoor furniture. Before you go ask what things would be your responsibility to provide, ie. laundry detergent, dish soap, paper products. Not a big deal but helpful. There were not a lot of basic staples there, i.e. Slat & pepper, paper towels etc. but again not a big deal. Most rental properties have at least some of the basics. TV in Master BR had only one channel, we then discovered that the remote had no batteries in it. Any questions or concerns we had we had about the property were answered with a quick return phone call. Key pick up and return were easy at their rental office. Definitely a great Marco location.
