Set at the first floor of a storic building of the XV century In cerca d’Autore shows confortables rooms with singular pieces of furniture in old style revised in modern and vintage viewpoint.
The apartment is characterizes by high wooden ceiling is well lighted and offers a nice terrace were you can sit and enjoy the lovely view on the green valley. Connection to WI-FI is free.
Moreover as you can guess by the name In cerca d’autore we agree to innovative ideas and change the original rental's philosophy. Thanks to its central position and suggestive the residence is suitable in its living space to be also an Art-studio. Therefore if among the guests there will be artist inspired by the toscany landscape and the calm of the ancient neighbourhood they will be in the right place to reflect and create their own works like making a sketch, paint, write and compose.

The Neighborhood
Outside of the apartment you are right in the centre in one of the narrow and tipical streets of Montepulciano. You can just take at walk and reach easily Piazza Grande with the Cathedral, numerous churches, the magnificent San Biagio Temple, shops, bars, restaurants, museum, wine cellars and also banks an post office.

The news: for you, from April to November you can make workshop of Italian's culture. The free area parking is near from In cerca d'Autore. Easily to get to the main artistic Italian cities: Siena, Arezzo, Firenze, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi. You can reach thermal springs: Montepulciano, Chianciano.. and the pleasant hot water in Bagno Vignoni, Bagni S. Filippo, San Casciano.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment. Absolutely perfect in every way from design to art on the walls to decor to cleanliness, no complaints! Location is gorgeous and the view from balcony is beautiful and one we will miss waking up to every day. It’s centrally located to so many beautiful towns - the perfect home base. The was THE perfect place to stay in Montepulciano!! Bernadino was an amazing host and the apartment is absolutely beautiful! The view from the terrace is breath taking. The pictures do not show you how spacious the rooms are! You walk right out to the heart of the city and it's the best location to everything. Highly recommend!! We were so happy and had the best time.

Montepulciano superb

A lovely, peaceful haven to retreat to after discovering the delights of the Tuscan countryside. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful. The apartment was even better than it was described and the terrace and view is out of this world. Great central location to wander and discover Montepulciano and close to some excellent restaurants.

Lovely place, spacious, clean. All the amenities you need for your stay in Montepulciano. We stayed at this apartment for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The deck/terrace is larger and more private than the photos suggest. The perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and wine/dessert in the evening. Excellent location. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Hostess was very accommodating and helped us get settled in. Air conditioning worked beautifully and was much appreciated. We would recommend this apartment to anyone. Five star rating!!!!!

Loved Our Stay In Montepulciano

Our first time in Italy, we loved our three night stay in Montepulciano and the apartment made it so much more special, the home had everything you need and is located in a perfect spot with amazing views and an easy walk to everywhere in the village. Host was great and spent some time with us at check in, showing us the best restaurants to eat in and other villages to visit that were close by. We will definitely stay again if we go back to Italy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city.

The apartment was clean and beautiful. The host helped us with several dinner reservations and suggestions on places to see and do while in the city. They recommended a private driver (Sayed), who drove us to and from Florence, Cortona and a day trip to Montalcino for a wine tour and lunch. Although it rained three of the five days we were there, we still enjoyed this beautiful city,

Perfect stay in montepulciano

We loved this apartment from the moment we stepped in - and then the view from the huge balcony took our breath away. Berardino met us at the public parking location and drove our bags directly to the unit - stopping to review a map of the town and restaurant and site locations with us. Spacious, sparkly clean, and well appointed Gessica’s artwork and tasteful decorating was a fabulous addition and made this stay very homey and comfortable

What a view!!!

This was a lovely place with an amazing view of the countryside. And the terrace was huge! The owners were so helpful, even coming back after we realized we left a coat in the place, after we had checked out! Highly recommended!

The apartment was pristine. It looked actually better in person than on the website and the view was captivating. Berardino was extremely helpful and patient in getting the other half of us up the hill and into the city.

The photos don’t do it justice! The apartment is immaculate. The views are incredible. Do yourself a favor and if you are visiting Montepulciano rent this place. The lady that helped us with the check in was fantastic and super helpful. The whole experience was A+++

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view

My wife, two teenagers and I absolutely loved this apartment. The location was ideal, the apartment was tidy, well-appointed, tastefully decorated, and featured a patio with a breathtaking view of the countryside. The host was very responsive and friendly; and she’s an excellent artist, as well! Highly recommended!

The Best of Montepulciano

This place is amazing in every aspect. Upon arrival, the hosts (Gessica and Berardino) are gracious and accommodating, splendid people. The apartment is very smartly designed with an artistic look that is elegant. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms clean, the kitchen well stocked, and plenty of room to relax. The very best, however, is the patio that looks east to the hills of Tuscany. You can find plenty of restaurants immediately outside your door and no shortage of wonderful Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. It doesn't get any better than here.

Spectacular home in Montepulciano

Gessica’s home exceeds every expectation. The photos truly do not do it justice. The apartment is meticulously decorated with Gessica’s artists eye. You are staying in her spacious home in the heart of Montepulciano. The views off the back deck are absolutely spectacular. It’s a picture postcard view of the heart of Tuscany. We started the day with cappuccinos and cornetas on the deck and finished the evening with a glass of wine as the sun went down over the countryside. Gessica and her family were attentive to every need and thoughtfully had small touches ready when we arrived. They gave us wonderful recommendations for where to eat and what to experience during our stay- the wineries, mineral baths and towns to visit. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. It will be a stay that you will remember fondly.

Location Location Location

Staying inside the walls of Montepulciano is an experience in itself. Montepulciano is simply magical. The apartment is in a prime location with easy access to the many restaurants, shops and historic sites in the town. If you have a vehicle it is also reasonably close to your parking area which is outside the walls. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The pictures on VRBO are accurate, but you really will be amazed at the style of the apartment. Gessica and Berardino were very good hosts and very nice people. The only suggestion our adult party of four would make is that they really should consider another comfortable chair in the living room. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for our liking. Apart from that it is an excellent place to stay.

Fabulous

The apartment is beautiful and bigger than it looks in the photographs. It was spotless and designed with obvious care and attention to detail. We were so comfortable on the beds and interior of the living space. The bathrooms were both bigger than any in the several other places we stayed during our Italy vacation. The balcony is also bigger than expected. The view cannot be described. It is beyond fabulous. We spent mornings and early evenings there and could not get accustomed to the beauty. Also, as we arrived, Berardino was patient with us as we tried to find our way to the apartment. He assisted us by meeting us and bringing us to the door. He was friendly and helpful in giving us advice on restaurants in the city. A wonderful time in Montepulciano. Thank you very much for the experience. Best--Celeste

Home Away from Home

Gessica and Bernardino have created a wonderful space for guests. Bernardino was so gracious to save us a spot in the public parking lot when meeting us for check-in, and he transported our luggage to the apartment while we walked up the stairs to town - it became a well-worn path during our stay. We were first struck by how incredibly clean and well-appointed the property was upon check-in; and the sunrise view...simply wonderful. While cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed to be comfortable. We left town nearly every day to explore the region, but returned each evening for apertivos (highly recommend visiting Victor at E Lucevan le Stelle) and dinner (Rosso Rubino Trattoria, practically across the street from the apartment, has the most AMAZING in-house prepared gnocchi). You will not lack for dining options when staying here. Frederico at De' Ricci Cantine Storiche provided a wonderful cave tour and tasting; be sure to visit Talosa to see their cave as well; definitly stop by Enoteca Consorzio Vino Nobile to see the ruins discovered ruins during it's construction, relax while watching the sunset, and enjoy a variety of wine from the region. Thank you, Gessica and Bernardino, for opening this family property to us for part of our 2024 FRamily Winecation. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again in the future!
