One of the very few Bend riverfront homes with direct backyard access to the water! This New Gorgeous 2,000 square foot home just finished a 1 year complete remodel in January of 2019. The high end finishes seamlessly blends the mid-century hip & sophisticated vibe with modern conveniences for the way we live today. This home was carefully planned for the ultimate in relaxation and enjoyment! The gourmet island kitchen features a huge peninsula and island, large pantry, great counter space and is fully equipped with all new stainless steel appliances. The French doors off the kitchen lead to the patio on the river.

On the river, downtown, a located across the street from Drake Park. One of the best locations in all of Downtown Bend! Easy walk to Galveston, Newport, Old Mill and downtown Bend.

Launch our stand up paddle boards and kayaks off the back patio, or relax with a cocktail watching floaters go by. Outdoor entertainment area is unique and private: Water feature, outdoor speakers, all paver patio, BBQ area, ample seating, and beautiful landscaping.

This home has 4 large bedrooms:

1. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet, private bathroom and a slider door onto the back patio with gorgeous views of the river.

2. The 2nd primary Bedroom also has a king size bed, a large closet and a private bathroom.

3. The 3rd Bedroom has a queen size bed and is off of the additional small living room.

4. Lastly, the den has 2 twin beds and is located off of the living room.

We had a great stay in Bend. The location of the home was awesome and the home itself was nice though some changes need to be addressed. The sheets and towels were musty smelling and the throw rugs are falling apart, need replacing. The beds were comfortable. The vacuum needs upgrading. This is a pet friendly place so need a vacuum that will pick up the dog hair! Other than that it was awesome and Kelli was an excellent host!! Would love to come back!!

seThe location was superb, with the river, pond and park right there. The road was so close, but there was no annoying traffic noise. Parking was a bit difficult for more than 2 vehicles. Two things could be improved - the lighting was basically overhead and glaring. Several dimmers and a bigger wattage in the lamps would help. Also the height of all steps to outside was too much forelderly people like myself (91), but would love to have owned it in my youth.

Year #4 was great

This was our 4th year at this house. We love it. Itā€™s on the water and family friendly. Kelli is always a perfect host. Iā€™d say the only drawback is the busy street but everything else out weighs the noise that thankfully lessens in the night

Spring in Bend

Our family get together could not have been better. Kelliā€™s home is the absolute best location to experience old town Bend. We walked to everything. The home was spacious, kitchen was well stocked. The back yard on the river was fantastic. Never a dull moment watching the wildlife and people float by. We have visited Bend many times but this location canā€™t be topped.

Wonderful trip in Bend for my family

I had my four siblings come and stay with her spouses and it could not have gone over better. I was worried about the noise and the chaos of the location, but the nights were quiet and mornings were blissful. My sister is gonna recommend this to a friend so if you could reach out to me and tell me how I can do that effectively that would be great. Also, I would like to potentially use the same location two years from now when my sonā€˜s graduate from high school. Same time of year.

Awesome house, great location

We really enjoyed staying at your beautiful house. We were so comfortable and there were plenty of towels, blankets and the such. It was too cold to use the river but the location couldn't have been better anyway. We found fun and adventure in every direction. Thank you so much. We would definitely come back in the summer.

Great location

It was the perfect house for our family. Everyone was very comfortable. We truly enjoyed the river right outside our door. We walked to town and on all of the paths in town. Very enjoyable!

Comfortable House/Great Location

This is a lovely house directly on the river with four spacious bedrooms. Our multigenerational family have stayed there twice and would eagerly book it again. The owner is incredibly responsive and gracious. It's a 10 minute walk along the river through beautiful Drake Park into town. I highly recommend this property.

Great location, but needs a deep cleaning

Easy access to the river and provided floaties, paddle boards and kayaks was the best part of this house.The central location allows for easy walking along the park trails and to the downtown area where there are many restaurants and shops.There is a lot to do in the area.Garage parking is definitely a bonus; maybe if you have two small cars they would both fit.One additional car would have to go sideways on the driveway. Street parking is not available.The street is busy and can be noisy.People park on this corner to load/unload to access the river at Drake Park across the street.There were homeless people hanging out on one side of the house by the river's edge for the first 2 days we were there.Kitchen and main living areas are spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed.Unfortunately the house overall can use a lot of TLC and deep cleaning. The outdoor furnitures were dirty so we didn't use them.A mouse ran out of the BBQ cabinet when we opened it.Lots of garage and window cobwebs/dust. Mold in bathrooms, carpet stains, slow draining tubs.We cleaned the living room window sills, kitchen drawer crumbs/debris, washing machine rubber gasket and fridge water dispenser drain before use.Bedding and towels didn't smell fresh and need updating.Sliding glass doors and some windows didn't have screens.Side gate on riverside of house was wonky and wooden slats fell out when we opened it.Shed where floaties are kept was a mess and dusty.For the price we expected a lot more.

Great location with dominant street noise.

As other reviews said, there is a considerable amount of street noise at this location. However itā€™s a great location to walk to downtown Bend, great food trucks that we frequented and lots of coffee shops and breweries. And yes the Deschutes River is ā€œa step awayā€ from house. Fun to see people on floats, kayaks, paddle boards pass by. It was fun to see your family wave at you from the back patio when youā€™re the last one in the family to float down the river. We had a good time. And happy we had this experience. Host is excellent!

Wonderful trip

We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The kitchen is INCREDIBLY well stocked. Fit all of us very well. Easy walk to Downtown and over the little bridge to great food options. We barely had to drive. Definitely coming back when it's warmer to take advantage of the kayaks. Thank you to the hosts for a really lovely home!

Wonderful house and location

This house was perfect for our two families for a vacation to Bend and skiing at Mt Bachelor. Everyone had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed. Great location--easy walking distance to the Lot food trucks, bagels, and coffee.

Lovely house, convenient location

Just what we needed for our family's stay in Bend. The house is very conveniently located to downtown and even closer is a nice row of good restaurants. The 2 master bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house. The kitchen is well stocked with needed cooking pots, pans, etc. Lovely outdoor space on the river. The only negative is the proximity to the busy road, so there is a fair bit of car noise, though there are very nice plantings that provide good privacy while still allowing for natural light. Very responsive host! Great communication before and during our stay. We had an issue with the gas fireplace (first use of the season) and Kelli addressed the issue very promptly. We would stay again.

Great Location

Walking distance to breweries/bars/ restaurants. The river is your back yard and itā€™s slow moving in that area. Only difficulty we had was parking. We were there for my daughters wedding and we had to play musical cars for a few days. Other then that place is great!

This is our second home and love everything about the home and location; On the Deschutes River and surrounded by restaurants, food carts, breweries, and shops! Open and spacious floor plan, large rooms, close proximity to everything: Downtown, Old Mill District, Newport and Galveston. We also love all what Bend has to offer and take full advantage of all the outdoor sports!

Bend is a very special place., but being on the river is even better. The home was built in the mid 50's and we have kept a lot of those architectural features. This home just went through an extensive remodel in 2018 and was torn apart and brought down to the studs. We moved the kitchen onto the river, vaulted the ceilings, added a third bathroom, new electrical wiring, new plumbing, new heat and A/C, new roof, everything is brand new. We love the new lush landscaping and easy access to the river from the back patio. A very special and unique property!
