2000+ sqft, accommodates up to 16 with 4 bedrooms (2K, 3Q, 6T beds), 4 full baths, all with tile showers, and an outdoor shower for rinsing after a day of beaching!

AWESOME VIEWS! ALL ROOMS ARE OCEANVIEW - except for 3 bathrooms!! One of the oldest homes on Edisto, Seafarer is 80+ years old with all the modern amenities! Excellent location, beautiful sunrises, and gorgeous ocean views. Enjoy our updated, fully stocked kitchen, hardwood floors throughout the house, TVs in living room and all bedrooms with access to YouTube TV as well as all your personal streaming options. Upstairs leads to common access to large sundeck overlooking the shore and features 2 bedrooms; one with one king bed, one set of stacked bunk beds and private bath with tile shower; one with one king bed, one queen bed and private bath with a charming claw foot tub and tile shower. Oak floors and heart-pine panel walls on lower-level deliver that charmingly quaint, beach cottage feel, featuring 2 bedrooms; first with one queen bed, one set of stacked bunk beds, and private bath with tile shower and second with one queen bed, one set of stacked bunk beds and hall bath with tile shower. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops; the great room and wood burning fireplace - warm and cozy for those cold off-season nights - and the window-walled dining/sunroom overlooking the beach complete the living area. Enjoy walks on the beach, ocean breezes, and coastal living at its BEST!

This was our first trip to Edisto and Seafarer did not disappoint! 70 degree weather on Christmas Day wasn’t too shabby either. The owners were wonderful and helpful to work with. We will be back!

Relaxing Getaway

This was our first time to Edisto Beach, and it was a fabulous vacation. The location of The Seafarer was perfect and it had all the needed amenities. Angela was a top-notch hostess! Although the house is a duplex, the neighbors were delightful, loving, and incredibly hospitable. We would certainly stay here again!

Great Location!

This townhome is in a great location and very well equipped with all you need for the stay, including a very nice custom tote bag with treats for your pet! The owners have done a great job with taking great care of your stay and their home. We enjoyed every minute! Only note was realizing it was a townhome instead of full house, which is a VRBO issue saying entire home. Other than that, it was perfect!

Beachfront Home - Excellent Location and Home

We had a wonderful time on Edisto! We loved that we could bring our fur babies with us, too. It enhanced our time walking them on the beach and enjoying the waves. It was a bit stormy, but even with that weather, it was a lovely and relaxed time. The host(s) are wonderful communicators, too, and they keep their property updated.

Pet friendly beach place

I had a great time staying at your lovely place with my two dogs who loved hanging out on the outdoor porches overlooking the beach. Although the place was a bit larger than what I needed I loved the convenience of being right on the beach as well as the ability to bring two of my dogs with me. Thanks for the lovely welcome package that included treats and toys for my dogs as well as a lovely bag and some supplies for the week. I will definitely be renting from you again although it may not be until the fall as I have a busy summer lined up. Thanks again!

Making Memories

This was a trip where old friends were enjoying each other's company and making memories. The house and location was perfect for that. The house has alot of character on its own and layout was great for multiple families or couples. Would rent again

Excellent access

The home is positioned right off the beach and had great access. We did struggle a bit to get out by 10AM which seems a little early, but other then that its fantastic. Loved our stay at this home.

The property accommodated our family of 8 perfectly with bedrooms and baths for each of the 4 couples. Great location and beautiful view of the beach. Location was great - close to all top restaurants, shops and gorgeous sunrises!

Home Away from Home

This beautiful, rustic house was the perfect oceanfront haven for a long weekend with family…there are so many things we loved about this house. the beautiful view and sound of the ocean, the cool breeze that blew under the house while we relaxed on the swing and the seating area was perfect for our Labor Day cookout… the beautiful sun deck was a added bonus to look out at the starts at night and to sit to see the ocean during the day.. the house was very nice, clean, and comfy!! We enjoyed our time together in the house and on the beach..we loved that only a few steps and we were on the beach.. We definitely want to come back next year to this same spot… thank you again for opening your home to us!

The Stay at the Seafarer

We had a Wonderful weekend right on the Beach! Coffee on the deck, walks on the beach Beautiful pictures! We did our own portraits at the house and on the Beach, what a Wonderful backdrop! We had originally planned a large group of family but plans changed. The house was so comfy, we felt right at home! We would love to come again!

Ocean front relaxation

The property had a great location. Walking up to a beautiful sunrise every morning. We specially enjoyed the ocean views from the dining room and chess game table. Angela has maximized the space with plenty of places to sleep and sit. We would love to come back soon !

Long Weekend Trip

Seafarer has been all these things for many people for over 80 years and still going strong despite the torments of nature. She has undergone many changes since 1943 and no doubt will continue to bring happiness and help create memories for many years to come.
