Surf Tide is a traditional style Edisto beach house, right on the beach and only a few steps from the ocean. The large deck off of the main living area (with both a covered portion and an open sundeck) provides fantastic views of the beach and ocean. This porch and deck also provide a shady area underneath in the sand below for hanging out near the beach but out of the sun.

Enjoy the hot tub on the beach-side deck, right off the great room. This spot enjoys great views of the beach and ocean while relaxing in the spa - great for cool evenings while enjoying the sunset.

This home has been extensively renovated within the past 8 years since we purchased the house. Over this time the entire house has been touched at least once. Renovations include a full renovation of the kitchen, a renovation of one of the existing upstairs bathrooms and the addition of a full bath to the upstairs floorplan. We also just completed a renovation to bathrooms downstairs now bring us to a total of 5.5 baths. Other updates include replaced/updated decor and furnishings, the installation of custom built-in bunkbeds in 2 of the bedrooms, new flooring downstairs, renovated kitchenette downstairs, and most recently the addition of a second laundry area upstairs and also an enclosed private outdoor shower off the beach.

The open concept upstairs great room easily accommodates a large group, with even more space opening onto the very large deck. The large great room provides a large living area with comfy, new couches as well as a dining area with seating for 14, and additional seating for 4 at the kitchen island.

This upstairs floorplan of this home has 2 beach facing King bedrooms and 2 street-facing Queen/bunk bed rooms. The upstairs is laid out as a central great room with 2 bedrooms to each side. The beach side King and streetside Queen/bunk bedroom one side of the house each have an en suite bathroom, and the beachside King and streetside Queen/bunk bedroom on the other side of the great room share a hall bath.

The downstairs has another 3 bedrooms - 1 queen bedroom and 2 bedrooms that each contain 2 twin beds. Theres a full en-suite bathroom for the queen and one of the twin bedrooms and 1 half bath en-suite for the other twin bed room. downstairs also includes a second, smaller, living area. Please note that there is currently no interior stair between the 2 floors. Instead, access between the floors is via any of the 3 exterior stairs. We have been looking into ways to add an interior stair, so hope that in the future we may have an interior access between floors.
