EdiStar at Edisto Beach

Welcome to EdiStar with backside facing to private & quiet Point Street. EdiStar enjoys the ocean breeze & view from both inside and out. The deck and porch are great to take in the ocean views & sounds by day and on a clear night amazing star gazing by night. From the open deck you can enjoy the colors of sunrise & sunset, or simply relax to the sounds of the ocean.

The recently updated home has open concept living, with a combined kitchen/dining/living area & split bedroom floorplan. Edistar is completed with a covered/enclosed sun porch that has extra living, dining, reading space, foosball table & giant Jenga. Beyond the enclosed & covered porch that is filled with light and air from its many windows is the large open sundeck.

Downstairs you will find beach toys & chairs in addition to a plethora of games for kids of all ages. Including, Ping Pong table, cornhole, bocci ball, croquet, giant connect four, beach tennis paddles & more.

We supply both a gas and charcoal grill, we start the season with a full tank of propane and ask the guest to continue that in perpetuity for each other as we aren't there.

this was the third time we’d booked a weekend getaway on edisto and this house takes the cake! we did not want to leave and we can’t wait to go back.

Laid back beach trip

Property was very clean, had all the kitchen tools we needed as well as games and beach toys to use. Had a blast and it was great for the dogs as well.

Great stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The sun room and the large deck were great for quality family time. The location was unbeatable. It was only a short walk to the beach and we were close to great restaurants and shops. This beach house truly felt like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning.

Family Spring Break

We had a wonderful time! The split floor plan was wonderful for our family and the fenced in yard a great benefit for our dogs. So nice to be so close to the beach with a toddler and dogs, and the quiet street made it even less stressful managing all the things.

Great Stay at 2804

We had a great stay. The house was setup well for us and our two dogs. The yard is large enough for our dogs to run around. The property is close enough to the beach to hear the surf and the back deck is on a quiet street.The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean.

Great beach rental.

We loved the proximity to the beach. The house was furnished with everything we needed. The sunroom was a delightful bonus and convenient space for our dog to stay when we were on the beach during the day.

Iconic Beach Rental

Location!!!! Location!!!! Quiet street literal steps to the beach, fenced in yard (rare find), SO MANY extras-games especially. It is clear that the owners put thought into making this property a one of a kind experience for everyone. Would highly recommend for those that want the true beach vacation.

Edi-Star is a Star!

Great house for our family. We enjoy the floor plan of an older beach house and this home is being updated without loosing it's charm. The fenced yard is a great feature! Hope to return soon.

Colleen was fabulous to work with! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay.

This property was perfect! Colleen was always available if a question came up. It was a perfect for my mom, my daughter and myself - a girl trip! Just a short walk to the beach - which was wonderful for my mom. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and read. We made some wonderful memories!

The best of all you're looking for in Edisto

This home is pet friendly, close to beach access, close to Whaley's, and the busy side (Palmetto) is fenced in for safety (think children/pets) but with very low traffic on the other. Sheets/towels provided, which makes life easier, and lots of games and beach toys for kids. Layout of the house is great too. Will definitely return...thanks so much to the owners!

Beach trip with young adult and grandbaby

Just too short!! The location and set up of this house is wonderful! Great design for couples/families to have some privacy and lots of thoughtful details in the house. Host response to a few questions was very prompt. Would definitely stay at the home again.

Steps from the ocean quiet location. Had everything needed and said it listed. Only negative was the sunroom. Very hot but would stay again

The pet area was great feature at this house. The kitchen had everything available for making meals. Limited use of TV channels, always asked for subscription for most of the selection picked which was a disappointment.Couple issues that we encountered was with various gaps in the flooring. Almost stub my toes and had to watch my balance walking between master bedroom and bathroom.

A great choice

The EdiStar is vintage Edisto style, but the house has been updated and is thoughtfully prepared for guests. We found everything we needed and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the bath products and all the beach chairs, games, umbrellas, etc. that were available. It's also a luxury to have linens provided and beds made upon arrival. The house was very clean and well-appointed. We would gladly return.

Perfect Beach Location

Walk across the street and straight into the ocean! The sun porch with large windows that open to let the breezes blow is ideal for morning coffee and afternoon naps. The 3rd bathroom is not accessible from inside the home, located on the ground floor, perfect to rinse off after the beach. The host was very responsive and lovely to work with.

Family Vacation

This beach house rental is basically perfect! The Edistar more than comfortably fit 7 adults and a medium to large sized dog. The home was clean and well-equipped, as well as extremely close to a beach access. The space offers a multitude of places to sit/lounge and a spacious, functional kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy a cozy, quiet, convenient trip to Edisto Beach! We hope to be back soon!

Perfect Escape

Edistar had everything we needed to escape and more - comfy beds, tons of fun puzzles and games (ex. giant Uno and Jenga), cozy sitting spaces, a huge deck for entertaining, grills, beach chairs and toys, two large refrigerators and freezers, a washer and dryer, outdoor shower, and most important, a warm family feeling! Did I mention it’s literally steps from the beach? The owner was super responsive which made the whole thing easy-peasy. I’d love to come back next year.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Location is 2nd only to ocean front, much thought was put into everything selected for the home. We stay in the home and add anything we feel is missing or not up to our standard. It is on the paved part of Point Street which is only a short section, no traffic, large fenced yard. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and come together.
