The condo was perfect for our group of eight. Everything was clean, the host was quick to respond, check in was simple and the location was great! It was far enough from the busy roads but close enough to get to the attractions in minutes. The only thing that i didn't realize when we reserved was that we had to go down a flight of stairs to get to the door. It wasn't an issue for our group but could be for others.

Great stay

The Condo was great. Very clean and spacious. We loved the area and the kids had fun in the hot tub. Our only issue was the extremely high water pressure in the showers. The first bathroom shower near the bunk room was so strong that it would leave water all over the floor. Other than that it was an amazing stay.

Perfect Retreat for a family

I loved the layout it was perfect for our family. This is an older property but it is was very clean. Some of the beds creaked and some windows were a little drafty but it was super cold that weekend. The fireplace kept us nice and toasty. Super close to Dollywood. I hope to book again for our next getaway.

Good location

Good place for stay, but I thing little bit dangerous outside for kids, I was in the 12-F apartment in front of the down the mountain, I was afraid because my kids sometimes played outside! But the rest was ok the place was comfy and the space was enough for us.

A great location

We enjoyed our stay. The beds werenā€™t that comfortable. It a great location rite across the street from Dollywood. Itā€™s not on the main strip but a hop skip and jump from everything.

Only suggestion I would make would be to add a large cookie sheet and few grilling utensils otherwise everything was great. Location was good a short drive to everything, we even drove up to Gatlinburg for a day. We really enjoy Wonderworks and all the shopping.

the property was generally clean and organized. however, the building is not insulated sufficiently as i could hear conversations from the room beside me anytime someone was in the room talking. any activity above us was incredibly loud and distracting, even when they weren't running or stomping loudly. it is a nice facility but there needs to more sound barriers/buffers internally. the shower head wall, in the smallest bedroom, had a hole and deterioration in the wall that needs repaired as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose to do our Student Ministry Fall Retreat at Smokey Mountain Retreat this year. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. They helped me with everything I needed to make this weekend happen. Seriously, I cannot tell you how many times I called because I had a question I had forgotten to ask both before the stay and during the stay. Every time I called they were so helpful. The cabins and the Conference Center are both incredible. Do yourself a favor if your in Student Ministry and doing a weekend retreat, give Edencrest your business. Also if you are just looking for a weekend stay in Pigeon Forge the place is gorgeous and has plenty of thing to do both on sight, and within a couple minutes drive

Perfect for our group

We had a group of 10 ladies stay at this property for a bachelorette weekend. It was perfect for our group! We were able to make the sleeping arrangements work great for us. We had plenty of room to spread out so we never felt like we were right on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make late night snacks and a great breakfast. We did notice quite a bit of mildew on all 3 shower curtains. And some obvious water damage on the floor of the master bath. (This could be alleviated by replacing the shower head to one that doesn't spray All Over!) But overall the condo is great! As others have mentioned, you can hear your neighbors. My take on this is, if you stay there please keep it down, don't slam doors and stop your kids from running constantly when there are people below them! EdenCrest Vacations makes everything very easy for check in and check out. They even called during our stay to make sure that everything was going well. I had let them know that the hot tub was cool and we couldn't figure out how to make it hot. Within minutes they had text me instructions on how to take it out of sleep mode. All in all, a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again!

Not a place for small children

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 children under the age of 3. You could hear all the footsteps above and people talking/singing outside the doors until early in the morning. Then, the last night, someone in the building set the fire alarm off around midnight and woke the kids up once again. Great place. Clean. Lots of room and beds; however, more for teenagers/adults or those who don't care about all the noise. We also left our iPad and has since to be found. Everytime we call everyone is very friendly about it but we never hear back like they say they will so we assume it's lost for good. There aren't any TVs in the room either. The one TV in the living room is an old box TV. We keep a TV on at night as white noise and that might have helped drown out some of the noise we heard outside but that wasn't an option since there weren't any in the rooms. But, like I said, it was a nice place, good price, and the location was perfect!

Family Reunion and 60th Birthday

Fun Vacation for our family's reunion. We will stay here again. Great property less than 2 miles from Dollywood. We rental both 12E and 12F. The condos are setup the same with four rooms and 3 bathrooms each. The customer service was great, a table broke during the week and the handyman was there in the morning. We needed the trash picked up mid-week; just called the resort number and it was gone the next day. While the condos were not elegant they were clean, everything worked, and bedroom configuration worked for our reunion. Getting the two condos allowed us to spread out a little more, plus gave us two hot tubs, so the young people had their own. The two condos, 12E and 12F are located downstairs in a walkout configuration. This is both great and a slight challenge. Great in that the hot tubs and porches are located on the backside of the building, which is the shadier side of the building, this cooler and much quieter. The slight challenge are the entrances to the condos, from the parking lot, are through the rooms with the 2 sets of bunk beds. There is a sidewalk around to the porches in the back, but there is no key to the door in the back. So if you have small kids sleeping in the bunkbeds and you have older folks staying out late, you just need to do a little prior playing to leave the porch door unlock so they will not come through the bunkroom after the kids go to bed. Overall it was a great family reunion and 60th birthday party vacation. The close location to Dollywood, the amount of parking, the friendly customer service, the cleanliness; all make up for the keypad entrance being in the bunkbed room.

Worst experience ever

Plumbing was stopped up when we arrived, fireplace not working, maintenance unclogged toilets, but it over flowed with waste later that night. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean. Issue resolved the next day asked to change rooms twice but they refused saying they didn't have anything but didn't offer to try to find us another resort. Advertisement said indoor pool, but when we wanted to use it it was not operational because a tree had fallen in it, but they still had it advertised. Final straw was waking up to bug bites all over my body. Spent 2 hours waiting to see Dr paid 38.00 co pay and got a steroid shot for bed bug bites. Sent the report from the Dr to the management, he said there was no way to tell if they were bed bugs despite the DOCTOR'S report, and I was the only one to have them and the only one sleeping in the bed and it was only 20-30 degrees not a climate for outdoor bugs to live. They said Orkin didn't see any bed bugs but it has been 3 days and they still haven't sent me the Orkin report. The manager never contacted me until I went to the office upon check out and asked to speak to him. He said he needed to talk to the owner before resolving the issue and that they probably won't agree to a full refund. I am itching like crazy and had to throw out my luggage out and wash clothes 3 times and leave un washables outside to keep the bed bugs from traveling to my house. I have asked for the report 3 or 4 times now and not getting a response. I told the manager I would hold off on my review to give them time to resolve the issue, but 3 days later it still hasn't been resolved. My husband passed away in Sept and this was supposed to be a little joy in the midst of our greif and all this has done was add stress to our Christmas. They advertise being a Christian company, but their actions show otherwise. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.

Nice with quirks

My family rented this condo for Christmas vacation. 6 adults, 5 kids, 2 small dogs. It was very spacious, absolutely the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. Immaculate, spacious, beautiful. However there were a few quirks and one big issue that would prevent us from renting it again. The electronic code box batteries died, not even upset about that one, it happens, I called the service number and maintenance was quick to come out. So customer service was great. They also called us a few days before Christmas to ask about kids and made them all little goody bags. These small acts mean a lot to kids. Two of the bedrooms had breakers and gfci outlets that kept tripping for seemingly no reason. Took us a while to find the gfci. The ceilings are paper thin and every time the upstairs people moved it basically radiated the sound downstairs. Gas logs didn't work. Water in the kitchen was froze all weekend so we had no water in the kitchen sink or dishwasher. I could maybe overlook this one because it was so cold that weekend, wind chills in the negative, but at the same time when you're paying over $600 a night I guess I would expect everything to be better insulated. We had tons of dishes from Christmas dinner for 13 people and had to wash them in the bathroom sinks. Now for the big one. The main exterior door opens directly into the bunk room. One could assume kids will be in the bunk room. That's the case for us. Well the only lock on that door is the electronic code lock. No inside locks like a slide lock or deadbolt. Nothing to keep small kids from leaving and nothing to keep the door from being opened by just anyone with the code. Maintenance had to come out early Sat morning and I was not comfortable with someone having the code to walk right in while my kids were sleeping. No shade to the staff but we all know what recently happened with a delivery driver and so you just never know. So I didn't even feel comfortable letting the kids sleep in that room which made it useless. No point renting a 4 bedroom condo if one room isn't usable. I don't understand how this has been overlooked, the back door onto the patio even had a slide lock. On the subject of the bunk room there was also an adjoining door in this room to the unit beside this one, again no deadbolt or slide lock. If not for the issue with the bunk room door I would most definitely rent here again. Beds were comfortable, nice blankets. Plenty of towels. Great customer service.

Football tournament stay

We were in town for the rocky top tournament for my son and his team. Spacious, clean cabin. They even approved us to stay for a late check out which was unexpected as our game time changed so we appreciated that!

**BEWARE** BED BUGS

* * * PLEASE READ! U WILL WANT TO READ THIS PLEASE READ!!!!! * * * * * * This is a beautiful property with a beautiful view. It's also In a great location. I traveled 8hrs to get to TN with a group of 13. First day/night was great. Second day we had a blast at the water park....came back to our rental and FOUND A BED BUG ON OUR BED. Everyone with us freaked out. We called the 24hr number immediately. They sent out the orkin man who confirmed the bug we found was actually a bed bug. We started talking to the people around us in the same building who confirmed they also had bed bugs. That left us with no choice to leave. They offered us a refund for 3 of the 4 nights. And told me I had to wait 7 days for a refund. Vrbo will not refund me my money for the booking fees because I didn't get a refund for all 4 days. I had to spend a whole day of vacation washing my clothes and cleaning our cars not to mention the extra $200 we had to spend to do it. I'm out $400 in groceries due to us moving to a smaller room with no refrigerator. It was a holiday weekend and hard to find a room big enough for 13. They offered no help no compensation no apologies.. I'm still waiting on my refund.. and according to other reviews in the BBB I WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET IT. This is real. This happened to my family. Don't let it happen to yours. BED BUGS BEWARE!!

12F is falsely advertised there isnā€™t a bunk bed in each room as it shows kitchen tables different the setup of the unit is different! Check in was supposed to be at 4 and we didnā€™t get in until almost 5. Every bathroom was covered with mold on baseboards and shower curtains, couches are all stained up & the ceiling is extremely water damaged. There was also a very disgusting smell every morning outside of backed up sewage or septic system overflow. Hot tub was very nice they accommodated us very well by cleaning it each day of our stay but thatā€™s really the only bright side of our stay..
