This unit was renovated by an HGTV interior designer and is virtually identical to another unit that was featured on the HGTV show House Hunters that aired in November 2013. Unit 109 offers the most luxurious accommodations for the best value. Unobstructed ocean view, convenient location & updated renovation make this Wailua Bay View condo the best choice for your Kauai vacation! Furnishings, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, hardwood floors (driftwood beach finish), appliances, Caesar stone (quartz material counters), under cabinet lighting, glass back splashes, solar shades, new front and slider doors, smooth finish walls, and a new air conditioner. Over $100,000 spent on the renovation in 2013! Enjoy the soothing sound of the surf, the panoramic ocean & coastline view and gorgeous Hawaiian sun & moon rises! This ground floor unit is perfectly situated within the complex close to the swimming pool & BBQ area. Wailua Bay View is in the heart of Kauai's Coconut Coast. Restaurants, shopping & golf are just a short stroll or a few minutes away.
In addition, Unit 109 is the closest to the ocean of any unit at Wailua Bay View and therefore has the best views. The Unit hs stunning view! Easy access to evrything and allmost all popular beach , trails , waterfalls , water activities etc. They have beach chairs , snorekell gears and evrything you need for a relaxing , peaceful vacation. We loved the unit so much. Felt recharged during our stay. Giving a 5 star and recommending to everyone.

Check in was so easy thanks to our host providing great instructions. The condo was nicely decorated, everything we could need was provided, the A.C. in the bedroom was perfect for sleeping, and the view amazing. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay there again. Our hosts were gracious and so accommodating.

Beautiful condo. Loved hearing the sound of the ocean when awaking in the morning. Loved eating on the balcony. Loved the daily sunrises. Entertained by the chickens! At times the wailua Bay Area has a very strong sewage odor which I was not aware of which could be a turnoff for some but really did not detract from our overall stay and we would stay here again. Only other issue was the dishwasher didn’t really clean. The settings didn’t seem to work so hand washed dishes which also didn’t detract.

Place looks just like the pictures! There is AC in the bedroom if you leave the door open, It will sort of cool off the living area as well, which was nice because it was a little warmer than usual the week we were here with a high humidity!I don’t think for the price you could beat the location or the amenities. Owner was always responsive and if we come back, we’d stay here again. Had some great amenities even beach chairs, which we didn’t need, but it’s great to see them there. Nice cooking pots and pans not the cheapies which also was a great touch.

Location, Location, Location and hands down, you can not beat this location and the spectacular view. This condo has everything you need and is tastefully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen. After booking, you are given wonderful resources about the area and best places to go for island activities. Luke is a good and responsive host!

Location, location, location!Complex is located just a quick stroll from the Coconut Marketplace. The grocery there has most things you need, and there are pre-packaged sandwiches to grab for the beach. If you want to do your own cooking, there's a Safeway Store across the road, which has everything. And BONUS, 2 of our favorite restaurants on the island are just past the Safeway: JO2, which has wonderful local food, is prepared by a skilled chef-owner, I believe. It is upscale dining, but if you go to Happy Hour, it's a real bargain, considering the quality of the food. (Don't miss the tempura green beans!)The other special dining spot is Aina Kauai, which is VERY fine dining, with special fare from another chef-owner. We like to sit at the counter, so we can speak with Chef Mitch, whose delicately-crafted Japanese menu is adventurous and exotic-- and everything is just delicious. I'm not big on raw fish, but I'll eat everything he puts in front of me. Worth the splurge.As for the condo, it has AC in the bedroom, which is VITAL for a good night's sleep. The mattress is nice, and the views are great. Oh, if you want a fun breakfast or lunch spot, just walk along the beach path to the Lava Lava Beach Club! Dine right on the beach -- don't feed the chickens, tho. We never had time to use the lovely pool, but it's just steps from your door. The Hawaiian music on the radio when we arrived fit the moment perfectly, and we left it on for our entire stay.

Everything was wonderful. Your instructions were easy to follow and check in went smoothly. Might want to restock the kitchen to make up four sets of everything as it is low on silverware! Also for people who would rather cook there is a shortage of bowls etc. Otherwise everything was clean and exactly as expected. An excellent place to stay. Thank you

The condo is comfortable and perfect for a couple. The location is great if your planning on going out and exploring the rest of the island is pretty well settled central to excursions and shopping and hiking.

Hi, we enjoyed our stay at the condo. It is an older unit, but was very clean and had a wonderful view. The AC unit in the bedroom worked well. It was also very helpful to have a washer and dryer in the unit.

4 nights in Kauai

Overall, property was accurately depicted, clean and well located. The property grounds were nicely maintained and the location was very central.As noted in the property description, the air conditioning is in the bedroom only, so the living room was quite warm even with all windows open and the fans were running. Just something to be aware of.The host did not respond to some questions I posted the few days leading up to the trip, which was a bit disappointing.

Great view of the bay

Really enjoyed the views, ocean sounds and waves. Saw turtles from our balcony while having breakfast every morning. Had everything we needed.

Great place, great host!

Great place to stay, with several places to eat or get coffee within walking distance. Free parking, beautiful view, comfortable place, accommodating hosts, what more could you ask for! We were able to watch wales from the balcony, bring binoculars.

Growing up in Canada, my family visited Hawaii every winter. My husband and I are fortunate to now live on the island of Oahu. Kauai is just a short trip for us and is our favorite of the Hawaiian islands to visit. We love the slower pace and opportunity to vacation close to home. We enjoy relaxing at the beach as well as hiking, scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing. No wonder we love Kauai as it is a perfect island for outdoor activities and water sports.

The view is absolutely amazing. We love being right on the ocean. Kauai has been our favorite vacation destination for many years.

The location is ideal being only 10 minutes from the airport and central to exploring the island both to the north and south. Wailua Bay View is close to shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. We really enjoy the walking distance to the protected beach cove for little ones and nearby Lydgate Park.
