Peaceful Refreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Myself, my wife, our daughter who is having our first grandchild and her husband came to celebrate and do some fishing. We loved the decor, location, the deer that came by every day. The best sleep we have had in a while. The Florida room was our daughter's favorite spot. We came from 8/31-9/7. Loved riding bikes and shopping. Can't wait to come back.

Quiet location, very roomy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed having spread out room with 3 beds/2 baths, a big Jekyll Room, and love watching the deer in the yard. Good location, right in the middle of the Island. The only drawback is the majorly outdated decor, some of which is very sad and tired looking. Felt like we were in a time capsule! The updated appliances are great, but they serve to contrast even more just how outdated the furnishings are. On the patio is a nice grill and picnic table, but nowhere to sit except a couple of rickety, very old plastic chairs and wooden chaise lounges with no cushions.

We had a lovely stay at Fairwinds, a very charming home where we stayed for two magnificent weeks. We just fell in love whit Jekyll Island and all its beautiful nature. We were particularily seduced by the beauty of sunrises/ sunsets and long walks on the beach trying to never miss one… We sure wish to come again! Martin and Sophie from Joliette/Laval Canada

Excellent service

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and perfect for a family of five. We had an unexpected power outage during our stay due to intense storms and a ceiling fan malfunctioned after power was restored. Jekyll Realty sent a contractor within hours to remove the ceiling fan and check for other issues. Very responsive and professional.

Absolutely Wonderful House

We love this house! It was perfect for our trip. It was everything promised and more. The spacious common areas were great for spending time together. The Jekyll Room offers spectacular views; we saw so much wildlife in the back yard. We’re already planning our next visit!

Great location

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Beach is a short walk or bike ride away. Quiet. Property came with a beach gear rental voucher which was handy. Definitely considering returning in the future.

A quiet stay with all the amenities of home

We enjoyed the location of this property. Located in a quiet little neighborhood. Everything on the island was just a short drive. Got to see the lights with our son and relax after Christmas. Easy arrival and key drop off processes when we left

Wonderful from start to finish

The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. GREAT location on the island. We enjoyed the family of dear that visited the back yard. The Jekyll Room was an absolute treat. We all agreed that this was the best vacation rental we had stayed at EVER!!

June 2021 Stay

As always our stay was wonderful. We love the island and the people. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for families. The island has many different types of wildlife from deer to alligators along with all the shells and sand dollars. Jekyll Realty is a great place to rent from. Their staff are the best!

Almost perfect

A distinct smell of attic insulation ( I work in a lot of attics). This odor intensified when the AC was off and the ceiling fans were blowing down....almost as if attic air was being pulled down thru the perforated ceiling tiles.Overall this property is Excellent, but I could not recommend it, due to the infiltration of attic air in the bedrooms.
