Great location and amenities with two heated pools, hot tub, private beach access and beach service included. Was perfect for 5 adults and 4 kids. Really enjoyed our stay. Ample free parking as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay short walk anywhere

Loved summer place. Short easy walk to the ocean. Ease of access to pool and rooms. Parking wasn’t covered but was secure. Short walk to eat at AJS, Hightide and Stewby’s which are our favorite. Room was clean and spacious for a family of 8.

Beach Week

I love taking our family to Fort Walton Beach each year. This was our first time at Summer Place. We enjoyed the location, the ease of pool and beach access, and the beach chair service was a huge plus!

We will be back

Stay was really good. Super nice area for families. Our washing machine didn't work while we were there, they did try to fix it. Would have been nice to be reimbursed for the inconvenience though.

We love this location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Summerplace #307. I had looked at while I was there in May to make sure it would work for our vacation. We have stayed in several units at this complex and have our favorites. We rented this unit for 11 days for a little less than the units we really love knowing it needs a little TLC. A new couch is a must. You can't even sit on it and enjoy TV because it is so uncomfortable. The kitchen needs new pans and utensils. Loved the mattress in the master. Overall, the unit is just "worn". Legacy was AMAZING to say the least to help with little things we needed during our stay. Will always rent with them! Thanks again for a great stay at FWB! Until next time!

1st time staying here

Everything was great but could have had up to date smart tvs through out the house. Also washer and dryer is awful needs updated. Needs more knives and a toaster with 4 spots so you can get more toast done. We would stay in this unit again just needs small improvements to make it better.

Great Stay!

Condo was as advertised. Great view of the beach/Gulf from 3rd floor. Unit is directly above one of the pools and hot tub which often meant noise from kids playing, but not bad. Condo enforced quiet hour rules, so all was quiet after 10 PM. Was nice to have beach umbrella and chairs included.

Family Vacation

Everything was amazing. The property is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was closed while we were there for repair but it did not impact our trip. The kiddos had a blast playing in the pool and beach was perfect. Very easy walk out to the beach across a boardwalk thru the sand dune. The location was great as well. 5 minute drive to the grocery store and and we could walk to several restaurants. We will definitely be coming here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While this unit was accomodating and comfortable for family/friends, I would recommend a few changes/upgrades:-Please put a mat at the front door to eliminate some of the sand that is inevitably brought indoors.-More silverware in the unit would be helpful when serving a large group.-The furniture on the balcony needs a little attention. The mixed variety of seating gave off the vibe of various yard sale finds.Otherwise, the unit was comfortable and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

In this particular unit the furniture, decor, and fixtures are outdated and the toilet in the master runs constantly but that was the least of our worries. We had a great time and there is adequate room for 10 people in this unit.

Love Summer Place

307 was a wonderful introduction for us to the Summer Place Condominiums. Our family slept well on the beds! Plenty of towels provided! Loved that the chairs and umbrella were included!! A few updates would be great! New shower heads, a Keurig coffee maker and metal cooking utensils would be nicer.

Our condo (SMP 307) accommodated 8 adults and 2 toddlers well. Loved being with walking distance to restaurants but not having the crowd like Destin. We would come back to Summer Place again.

Great location and Condo.

Everything was great! Except the beds are terrible uncomfortable! I had seen this in previous reviews. If you have any back or hip issues. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Everything was great but the mattress need replaced! All of them! Hopefully the owner considers replacing them soon! Terribly uncomfortable!

In love with Summer Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Summer Place. We’ve stayed in different condos each time. 307 was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and I love the new LVT floors throughout. It’s much easier to keep the sand cleaned up with those. The condo could use a few upgrades in the near future . The TV in the living room , the refrigerator , and the lawn furniture on the deck all have broken parts to them and will need to be replaced in the near future. However, I would definitely still stay here again. It is the perfect location next to the elevator and the trash chute with a fabulous view. It was very comfortable with just a little wear and tear from frequent usage. A fee extra upgrades that aren’t required but would be nice are a cordless vacuum for quick easy cleanup, a Keurig coffee maker and an Alexa speaker for music. Also the pool and common areas are very well maintained and clean. This is a great place to take your family and we will be back.
