Located right on the ocean on the beautiful island of Maui, our second floor Condominium can be your home by the sea. View Molokai, watch sailboats pass by, and during the winter months, watch whales -- all from the lanai. You can also walk to the beach and snorkel with the fish. Come treat yourself to a stay in paradise!

Best Vacation Ever!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and well equipped. The view cannot be beat, especially watching the whales in the distance (they come to Maui Dec-Mar). With the full kitchen we were able to eat in a lot. The bed was comfy and the shower worked well. There's no AC but a good fan and open windows was mostly enough. Valerie in the front office is friendly and responsive. The grounds and pool are well kept. Instructions were clear and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

My wife and I of 50 years loved everyday of our entire monthly stay.The office staff (of both Valerie and Valerie) was especially pleasant and accommodating in every way. They both represented to true Aloha Spirit. We are so grateful to them for their assistance when needed.THE GROUNDS (BY DAVID): David has replanted the grounds beautifully and showed us such a welcoming "Aloha" spirit. We look forward to next year and seeing the beauty that we know is going to take place. What a welcome and colorful change to the foliage and grounds!! Sincerely, John and Laurie

Home in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the Hale Kai Oceanfront Condominiums is fantastic, right on the ocean with a park right next to you. We would like to thank both Valeries who work in the office, they were wonderful. They helped with booking our reservation, staying in contact, providing helpful tips, and being available onsite to answer questions, provide guidance, and help me locate my lost watch. We loved our unit 215. The unit had updated kitchen appliances, bathroom, and the owners did a beautiful job of decorating. David, who maintains the property grounds, does an incredible job keeping it beautiful and appealing. We think of everyone at the Hale Kai as family and we look forward to returning soon.

Beach front, small, intimate, warm & welcoming. The unit (215) was clean and had everything you could ask for. We loved the added touches of laundry pods, coffee, treats, post cards...just a really nice touch.

Lahaina Firestorm stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived the day of the firestorm. It was WINDY coconuts were falling on the road. We had no electricity or communication and worst no propane (we heard that they've been out of propane for 2 wks) residents were preparing their food going down to the BBQ to find out there was no way to cook their food- We had to toss eggs & shrimp etc. Thankfully Latino mkt opened Wednesday and we got 2 cans of bean, tortilla, cheese to make a burrito which was our only meal on Wed & Thurs - We weren't able to do any of the tourist things & understandably not at no fault of Hale Kai. Don the Mgr? at the condos was as helpful as he could be. The radio kept saying for road conditions go to but that was impossible with NO internet. Don would pass on what he heard. We got a flight out on Friday morning. So please take this into consideration when you read my answers to the question. We weren't able to go anywhere. Luckily the people where nice & the place/view was comforting. I'm sure any other time I'd give it a 5 star....maybe 4 because the propane would have help numerous guest.

Shower could be a lot hotter in the water dept. only fault. Maybe it was just a issue that week. Bed and linen super nice and extra blankets and pillows a plus. We own a beach rental in Cali so love to hear about the comfort aspects from our guess. Will be back. Mahalo.

Wonderful stay at Hale Kai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week and a half at Hale Kai 215 in August 2022. The condo was very clean, well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated. The kitchen has all the equipment/utensils you need. Even the pull out couch was comfortable to sleep on! The lanai and view is incredible. You're steps from the ocean, sunset side and the pool was a good size and well maintained. Turtles can frequently be seen playing the the waves from the pool deck. We have stayed a few times in Honokawai (this are of Maui) and love it. There's a great little organic market across the street (try the banana bread, pineapple salsa and Lulu koi cream cheese), a fish market a couple blocks away, a food truck area 5 mins walk away etc. Many choices of beaches nearby and lovely historic Lahaina.

I would recommend this unit to anyone. The undisputed winner in our world were the beaches of Maui. Rent a car and hit as many as you can - you won't be sorry. The Luau's were close and the one we attended was incredible. The real gem was the Lenai at this unit - great view morning and at sunset. We definitely plan on going back!

It’s amazing nothing has really changed and it still has a great feeling that we used to enjoy. There are some things that could’ve been updated and we need to think about that the next time we come over.

20th Anniversary Trip

The condos are located right next door to a beach park, which we used to hang out, snorkel and watch the turtles swim by. The pool was clean and quite for our stay. The lack of air conditioning was no problem, just open the louvers and the ocean air does the job. It gets hot between 2-5 pm so use the outdoor screen on your porch to keep the heat out. This unit was well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, great kitchen, clean bathroom. Every time we looked around for something we needed, we found it! Cleaning supplies, broom, vacuum, extra pillows, etc. Only caveat; the bedroom window is located by the parking lot and road which made for noisy evenings and mornings. Other than that, it was a terrific stay! Thanks!
