This tastefully decorated, 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is a perfect beach front getaway for a couple or small family! Located in a quiet, mid-island location, but also next door to the Wanna Wanna beach bar, this spot offers the best combination of entertainment amenities, but located within an uncrowded, residential area. This second floor unit with beach-balcony view, comes fully furnished with all of the items shown in the photographs - including a fully equipped recently remodeled kitchen, full size sleeper sofa, two full size beds, televisions with cable tv, internet, tile floors with a carpeted bedroom, and more! The extremely well maintained building features a heated pool, hot tub, and elevator which is cared for by an attentive, friendly, and well managed home owners association. #211 La Internacional has all the exciting comforts and benefits you would expect from a top-notch beach front property!

Great location

This is our second time we've stayed here. We really enjoyed our stay. The location right on the beach is perfect. Even though the bar is next door, you can't really hear it. We will definitely come back and stay here.

Piece of heaven

Such a peaceful stay. The condo area all together was beautiful and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable for sleeping. The condo had everything we needed except for cookie sheets/pizza sheet. The pool and hot tub were very well kept. The private beach access was wonderful. Overall a perfect place to stay for a great price!!

Super close to the beach and the majority of things to do on the island !! Check in is not bad at all as other people make it ! Took us less than 15 mins to check in and be at the property!

Loved it!

Loved the property and people there. The pool is heated. The grounds are kept clean. Whoever cleans inside the condo needs more time to do a good job.

Being on the beach was wonderful

Everything was nice. Great being on the beach. The only thing was the carpet in the bedroom was very stained and looked dirty. Needs to have tile put everywhere. Very worn and outdated. Also the door knob in bathroom was loose. Location great and pool was nice and clean. When we first arrived we had to ask for dish towels.

Great condo with a great ocean view.

Check in process was easy and fast.Communication and instructions from the owner and management company were great. condo had everything we needed for our stay. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The view from the balcony were nice and literally could be on the beach in minutes. The hot tub and pool on the property were nice. Wi-Fi worked great. There was a beach bar next door we visited that was nice and it never got loud or bothered our stay. I enjoyed having my coffee in the morning on the balcony looking at the ocean. Location was great within walking distance of a lot of shops etcā€¦ I loved staying here and I am hoping to be able to come back again soon and stay here. Thanks for making our vacation even better with such a nice place to stay.

Girls Trip 2024 - Padre

We were originally a group of 4 that grew to 6 by the time our trip began. The view from the balcony was amazing. The proximity to the beach and the Wanna Wanna bar was a pleasant bonus. Our only complaints were not enough toilet paper and dish soap. Hot water and cold air we had aplenty. Only suggestion would be for the condo complex to have a rinse off area so that sand wouldn't be tracked into the condo. The trip was a bonding and healing experience. We plan to make come back to Padre in 2-3 years. Will definitely recommend this condo to family and friends.

Perfect Stay

Perfect stay right near Wanna Wanna. I drove through a 5 hr thunderstorm to get here so I didn't read that you had to pick up the keys at another location-my fault. So to everyone you pick up the keys at another location do not just drive straight to the room. If I was actually in the space I only used it to work, eat, or sleep. I went there for the beach so that is what I was there to be doing. The bed closest to the wall is the one I used and it was really soft and comfy. The kitchen had everything I needed. I didn't use the living room at all. Patio was perfect I loved going out there every morning before I had to log into work. I also took my bicycle and it was a tight squeeze in the small elevator but SPI has the best bike lanes and I wanted to ride. If you forget your coffee like I did there is a small cafe about 2 blocks down. I went there until I bought coffee to make at the condo.

Great location, nice room, odd condo rules

Overall, I had a really nice trip to South Padre staying here, but there were a few odd caveats. The Good: This location is excellent, you're in the middle of town and right on the beach. There are a number of different restaurants in walking distance, and the beach is clearly visible from the patio. You can get to the beach pretty quickly, and barefoot if you want. The Wi-Fi was easily good enough to stream movies which was nice, and not a given for little places on the beach like this. The furniture was all comfortable for lounging around between trips to the beach. The caveats: While getting to the beach is really easy, getting back was sometimes an issue. The design of the condos means that you have to go through the lobby, and apparently "be dry" before doing so. It's not unreasonable, but you need to bring a towel even for a quick walk on the beach. I got different answers for check in and check out at different parts of the process. The host (Rob) is responsive, and will give you the correct information, but some emails from vrbo have the wrong times on them.

1st time in South Padre

The host was easy to communicate with and gave all the information we needed ahead of time. The property is serviced by a company called Island Services and they were very friendly and quick with the check in and check out process. You go there first and itā€™s on the way to the condo. If youā€™re going anytime between June 25th - August 2023 please check to see if there is still construction (Dredging) on the beach. This is something the property owner has no control of. We showed up excited about being able to walk right out to the beach but when we got there they had a little more than a quarter mile of the beach roped off with no access because of the construction. We had to walk to the end of the blocked off area to setup our tents and have access to the water. It was a far walk with gear and the sand was deep and really hot in the afternoon. Be prepared for that. Items you want to know: -Need to bring Dish soap (No dishwasher) -Need a Baking sheet (pots, pans, silverware, cups and plates are in the kitchen) -The condos have a towel service in the lobby that runs from 9:30AM - 12:30PM everyday and will exchange your used towels from your unit. -Only one car per unit can park on-site. There is parking on the street close to the condo. -The bar next door was not loud at all and did not bother us in our room. -AC worked great.

Clean Friendly Ideal location

The property is very well maintained. Pool area and grounds are cleaned daily, Literally just steps to the beach. Condo is clean, beds are comfortable and functional. If you are looking for fancy might not be the condo for you. My only complaint is the microwave did not work properly.

It is right next to a beach bar, so it was kind of loud at night, but we knew that going in. The experience was a winner, beautiful beach views and a good experience!

Overall stay was great. I was concerned because someone entered our condo while we were out for the day. I could tell someone had been in and don't know why this would happen. It was a little unsettling and I wanted to discuss but office was not open when we departed.

Gorgeous view walking distance to great bars!

The place was almost exactly to our expectation. The bathroom does look different than in the photos though. Not to say it wasn't nice! It was AMAZING. There was a nice spacious shower with sliding glass doors. Everything was super clean and the bed was super comfy. My only complaints is that there were two folding beach chairs in the closet and when we took one out to the balcony, we found that it was so covered in rust that it left huge orange piles wherever you placed it. It was also hard to set up and FILLED with sand. The A/C works, but it still becomes VERY stuffy being next to the beach. I would suggest bringing a dehumidifier if you can. I had to unplug the TV in the bedroom because the plug started making noises and sparking a little bit so that was a bit scary. All of the other plugs were fine and we were so busy on the island that we didn't end up watching TV anyways. There are only two dimly lit lamps in the living room then the kitchen and hallway light. If hanging out in the living room I suggest doing it when the sun is out as at night, it doesn't get very bright in there. Filled with all the dishes and extras we could need! (soap, deodorant, dish soap, cleaning supplies, etc) WannaWanna and the beach are literally right downstairs, although we opted to walk about 7 minutes to a karaoke bar called The Coral Reef. Hands down, best bar on the island. They truly mean it when they say "come as strangers, leave as friends." There is an elevator with an air conditioned lobby/common area. BUT there isn't really any reception besides the security guard (Who is hard to find) and the cleaners. Make sure you don't need anything. The view was absolutely amazing and we could listen to the live music from WannaWanna straight from our balcony. Would 100% recommend this Vrbo. Perfect place for our honeymoon.

Excellent view of the Gulf/beach access

It is perfect for one person or a couple; might be too small for more than that. Wash the dishes/pots/pans before you use them. This has nothing to do with the property but take your own gallon jugs of water that you purchase. The tap water in South Padre tastes like mold. Joe at Island Services is very nice and helpful.
