Welcome to Habitat 16! This gorgeous two Bedroom, two and a half baths Condo is waiting for you. This Rent On Padre condo is a beautiful 2 level unit, located on the 2nd floor. The top floor has both of your bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bath! As well as a washer and dryer located between the two bedrooms! The living room has a queen size sleeper too. You also get two private balconies, one on each floor. Great for the morning coffee! You are going to love the charm of this condo.

This condo is located less than a block to the beach, has high speed internet, one assigned parking space, private pool, and two TVs! Everything you need to enjoy your home away from home!

Habitat 16 is pet friendly with a 20 pound weight limit if you are staying for one week or more. Please contact us directly for pet approval.

Quiet building

We could put the kids to bed and not worry about making too much noise. The place was clean. We can't wait to go back

They had a swimming pool, close to the beach. They are strict on their requirements but yet I could not sleep the first night since people were in the swimming pool til 3 am with loud music. I was not able to park in my assigned parking spot for the first and second day. I had to park in the grass across the street. Overall the place was super clean and close to the beach!!

Summer 2025

Property was good. Too many stairs to get to it. Pool was great. The entry door needs adjusted hard to close and open. The AC unit worked greaat but it made a loud humming noise at was mostly noticeable. Had trouble sleeping. Other than that it is a great location.

Christmas Vacation

Thank you for a great apartment. The location was great. We enjoyed staying here. I did have to clean when we got there. There seemed to be old coffee or food splattered around on the appliances and walls and the floor made our feet black, I got a stiffer mop, but other than that it was great.

Great Place!

Great little place. My only negative was the beds were to firm for me. Over all 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. 2 balconies for sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Great location Dated property

The location was great with the beach about a 5 minute walk. Dining and shopping all a short drive away. The inside of the condo itself is dated and somewhat run down. The chairs in the living room are of the quality of end of the driveway with a free sign and no one will take them and dining table was rickety. That said it was clean. When we walked in there was as a mold/mildew smell and there appeared to be mold on the vent above the dining room table. We came back with a pastry our first morning, set it on the counter to go for a walk on the beach, came back an hour later and it was infested with ants. It took about 8 hours for housekeeping to drop off ant spray. The beds were comfortable though pillows were not. Overall communication with property management was fine. We didn’t appreciate having to wait so long for the ant situation to be dealt with but all interactions with them were pleasant and dealing with them prior to this they were always friendly. They let us enter the property a little early and did give us a $100 refund for the ant and mold inconvenience after asking for it. Probably wouldn’t stay at this property again but would work with Rent on Padre again.

Clean place and just a short walk to the beach! Love the pool, too! And we have been booking with Rent on Padre every year we have been to SPI!

It was okay

Our stay was decent but the place was a lot older than it appeared. Few things needed to be update and were falling apart. The walk to the beach took longer cause the entrance was closed. The other guests were loud at the pool and messy there was no one to manage them. The furniture seems old and needed deep cleaning.

Disappointing stay

The condo location was a nice location. The bedding and towels were clean. Water pressure was great. We had inquired about the pool prior to our arrival and were told it was in working order. Upon arrival the pool was a greenish gray color and you couldn’t see more than a foot into the water. They shocked the pool and treated it. Day 2 we were told that it was safe to swim. However our daughter suffered a chemical burn that blistered after being in the pool. The air vents had a black mold all around them & the condo stunk of mildew by the end of day 2. It was overall a mediocre stay. The price was right. But we got what we paid for. Management was combative when we called, but they did have maintenance fix the pool.

It’s cozy.Definitely a lot of space. Cold air conditioner which was great after spending an afternoon at the beach. Well equipped with everything for a quick lunch. The pillows to the bed were comfy! Bigger than realized

Only suggestion I would make is to have some beach towels and maybe one or two beach chairs for those that fly in as packing space is limited. Would def stay here again.

Nice family getaway

Having never been to the island, it was nice not having to stay in a hotel. While the property is somewhat dated, it was charming and cozy. Other tenants not following the pool rules and broken blinds giving us minor privacy issues didn't take away from our stay. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!
