Surf Side Shores #2506 is a west corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 5th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1100 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with a balcony with a limited view of the bay and the middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. King, King, Queen, sofa sleeper. Sleeps 8

Surf Side Shores I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Surf Side Shores has two beachside pools, one of which is an extended-season pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. 2 car limit. Stays longer than 30 days must purchase parking pass(s) for every month.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

This place was very nice and would stay again. The master bathroom is small for a guy my size. But all in all a very nice place and a beautiful view. Some of the towel fixtures and toilet paper holders need to be reinstalled they are very loose.

Less than 75 steps

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Less than 75 steps from pool to ocean. This outweighs any negatives. The master bedroom near front door stayed very, very warm night and day even with curtains closed at all times. Thank goodness we brought a fan. No ceiling fans or lights in bedrooms, only lamps, kinda weird. Very compact condo, but as I said the short walk outweighs all this. Pool seemed like it needed to be shocked. Not very clear or clean feeling.

Great location but very small condo for 3 bedrooms

Great location but bedrooms and bathrooms were very small. This condo needs some deep cleaning and new curtains without stains on them. Otherwise it was decorated very nice. Pools were nice too.

Great condo overall...

Great staff at the rental agency. I left a few items behind and the young man at the rental agency made sure they were packaged and waiting for me at the agency to pick up.

Fall Break

We had a good time at the place and enjoyed having three bedrooms and bathrooms. The only thing we would have liked better would have been to have a lock with a code instead of actual key.

Spacious balcony of master and second rear master had a smaller wrap around balcony with beach and lagoon views I wasn’t expecting. A little aggravated with the smoke detectors-one started beeping overnight. I went and grabbed a couple 9v batteries to shut them up instead of waiting on maint. Perhaps get some kind of table top USB ports by beds for easier charging. And the half-ply TP is scary. :) But nice place right at the beach and a good stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was easy we picked our packet up and went to the condo. But when arriving we had two Keyes that only one of them worked when we called they made us drive all the way back to the office to get the other key and they didn’t have staff that brought Keyes to the rental properties. NOT sure what condo they gave us a key too. Then one of our group had a family emergency which meant we had total of 3 cars that was not even option didn’t even offer alternate parking. They stated they were going to be full with guest however there were multiple spots available alllll weekend. She had to pay $75 just to park for our 3 nights we were there across the street. Then the security guard came to the door with in 45 min of us arriving stating we had to take a towel off of the balcony that was drying apparently watched like a hawk!! As well one of the girls was outside smoking security guard came out of his shack and came around side door to only sit on a couch right in side the door very oddly managed and creepy situation never said anything just sat but went on the side door so that he came from behind and not in the front door where she was sitting. HOUSE was VERY dusty on lamps and in between shelving. One of the king bedrooms the air conditioning was not very efficient they sweated down. But why call to report it when they can’t bring key out even. Mainly the issue was not with the condo itself but the the company per say.

We are not sure why a key could not have been taken to this guest but normally we are able to do that. It is possible we were short staffed in the office and she had to drive the 2 miles to get a key. While inconvenient, this is not something normal in our practice. Surf Side Shores has a 2 car parking limit, as do many of the condo buildings. There are no exceptions to that two car limit. The two car limit is known to guests from the time of booking. We do see you texted us and asked if you could bring a third car and we politely reminded you of the 2 car limit. Towels are not allowed to hang on balconies. Many vacation areas enforce this rule. We've heard nothing but great things about our security at Surf Side Shores. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property but we do know there is a couch inside the lobby. We do have a maintenance dept who is able to be dispatched with any issues, so we do wish the guest had reported the a/c. -Gulf Shores Rentals

We Love Gulf Shores!

It’s a bit overprice for the unit. It definitely needs some basic updates. New towels, mattress needs to be replaced, touch up painting etc. I dont mind paying for what you get but i feel it was not worth the price this year. We did have to contact maintenance once and they were at our door in 2 minutes and fixed the problem. Very impressive~

We were very disappointed with the beach rule of not using our tent/canopy (due to the beach erosion) so we are looking forward to next year without that restriction. Absolutely loved our weekend!

Our family enjoyed our weekend at Gulf Shores! Condo was very clean. The view of the gulf was breathtaking. Our family realy enjoyed the "play pkg" that allowed excursions daily. The condo is centrally located, easy to get to many locations.we are looking forward to our next stay.

Sofas and chairs could use some updating. Dresser in main bedroom is falling apart. The dryer has a high pitched noise that sounds like nails on a chalk board. We had to run it when we were gone. The place is great though. It’s very clean and you can’t beat the location. I would stay there again because of those two things. Easy and short distance beach access. Parking lot does flood with heavy ran.

Appliances were outdate and fridge did not keep things as cold as we would like. Dryer is very loud and squeeky. Furniture is run down, especially dresser handles in the main bedroom. Would still recommend, but saw other units in the building which were nicer.

The condo was in the perfect location, right on the beach. It was clean and each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which was great for us. My daughter did not have to share a bathroom with her brothers. As far as this being a rental for one week everything was very nice. However, if I were the owner there are a few things I would fix/upgrade. The toaster only worked on one side. The other side heated up so much it burned the bread instantly and set off the smoke alarm. The dryer and water heater both made horrible noises whenever they were being used, the dryer especially. All of these things I could live with for a week and were not deal breakers. The WiFi, though, is a different story. The unit is about 1,100 sq. feet but we only got the WiFi signal in the living room, not really in the bedrooms. The smart TV in the living room, even though it was about 10-12 feet away from the access point, kept dropping its connection every time we tried to stream something to watch. With two teenagers and a 21 year old along with me and my wife all having devices I found I got a better signal by just using the 5G network on my phone rather than trying to use to WiFi. Luckily, we spent most of our time in Gulf Shores on the beach or going out and the spotty internet connection was just an inconvenience and not a show stopper. Still, the other amenities and location made this a great vacation.
