Unwind at the Tropical Island Villa (formally known as The Carambola Villa Retreat), a sophisticated and elegantly furnished 1.5-acre hideaway blessed with amazing views of rolling hills, lush tropical gardens and the ocean. The 3,500 square-foot villa accommodates 12 guests comfortably, but can be made available for up to a maximum of 16 with use of futons and a cot. This is a great vacation spot for family and friends.

You will feel like you are in a tropical paradise on this property that lies just one mile away from the island’s only Rainforest. Dozens of palm trees, tropical flora and a view of rolling hills greet you inside the Carambola Golf Course (received a four star rating from GOLF Magazine), where you can tee off on the par-72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.

HOUSE DETAILS
4 spacious bedrooms sit on either side of the Great Room, noted for it’s beautiful high Cyprus ceiling. 1 room has 2 King size beds, 2 twin size beds and a futon in a separate area, and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a king size bed and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a full bath with shower. And 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a half bath in the room with an outdoor shower. There is also a cot that can be used if needed. There is a sitting room with a full scale entertainment center, 60” TV, and bar. We have Starlink hi-speed WIFI.

There will be an extra fee of $25 per person/ per night on parties of more than 8 due to an increased usage of power, water, and cleaning costs.

The open concept living room kitchen is ideal for preparing meals with your friends and family, which may be served in the dining area or the big patio. The kitchen is equipped with 16-Piece place setting, wine and champagne glasses and a Keurig coffee machine.

One of the main allures of the property is the expansive entertainment terrace, set with pool, BBQ, fire place and seating for 12 people for dining. Edged by the natural tropical gardens, here on the sunny deck you will marvel at the long distance sea views and gorgeous clear nights, surrounded by thousands of stars.

Note - Property Managers live downstairs on property in separate apartment. We do our very best to stay quiet and out of the way.



ACTIVITIES
Three miles away on the North Shore is the famous Cane Bay Beach, rated as one of the top dive sites in the entire Caribbean. This is also meeting point for sunset beach bars and incredible restaurants.
Take a a two mile hike with spectacular views of Annaly Bay and Carambola Beach (or take an adventurous Jeep tour) to St Croix's famous Tide Pools or try the Carambola Zipline or Horseback riding, right at the entrance to the Carambola Golf Course.
Another one of St Croix’s attractions is The Bioluminescent Bay in Salt River Bay National Park. It’s the historic site that Christopher Columbus landed on his second voyage to the New World, but come by night and see the water glow!
The Villa is also within a 15-minute drive to the island’s two rum distilleries (Captain Morgan and Cruzan), where you can tour the facilities and learn about the process of making our island's signature rums.
Danish architecture awaits you in the two towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted where you will find many historic buildings, old forts, fishing charters and duty free shopping! Try your luck at Divi Carina Bay Casino on the island’s east end.
