New rental! The Tide & Seek is a charming Ocean View Cottage in Yachats, across a quiet street from pounding surf, or the tide pools and small secluded beach areas, when the tide is out! Stunning views of Cape Perpetua and the ocean surf are seen from kitchen, dining room, and living room. The location is perfect for short strolls to shops and restaurants in downtown Yachats on the city trail. You can also walk the 804 Trail, which goes by the cottage, and take it to the end, where it stops North of town, and continues on with 6 miles of sandy beach towards Waldport. Or you can look at the tide pools at Smelt Sands Beach. The cottage has a large grassy back yard, and BBQ that you can use during the summer months. So, whether you are in the cottage during the bright sunny clear days of summer, or watching an amazing winter storm, the Ocean and downtown Yachats could not be much closer!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little place to settle in, walk to town, watch the waves, relax, read, and walk the dog. Just fine for the two of us . did have a "fly" problem and assume the rental company took are of that. The people that mange this little house are very pleasant and attentive. Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location & thesize if this rental. Beautiful veiws & very convenient. It was not as clean as i expected for the price. There was mold on the shower curtain, candy wrappers on the floor of my daughters bedroom, cob webs & the outside garbage can had not been dumped. It was also not well heated. Overall, we would stay here again but would hope for better the next time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed dry weather, although all but the day of arrival was cloudy. This house must havew been built to be a rental as all the rooms were small. No one would want to live here permanently. On the other hand, all the rooms were clean, all the appliances functioned properly, with one exception - the TV and associated equipment. In the evening, we like to relax and watch news and a few network showa. There was a cable box, but it was not connected. There must have been an antenna because a handful of weak and distorted channels were available. There was no guide, and although there was a DVD player and a few DVDs, the TV experience was very poo.

Best cottage in Yachats

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at Crestwave was as delightful as always. I have stayed in this lovely little cottage many times over the past 11 years and always feel like I’m coming home. It is a “home” and it sits unobtrusively overlooking a most dramatic point along the bay. Perfect!

Fabulous location!

This house was perfect for our family of three plus our Lab! It's right across the (not very busy) street from the ocean, and on two different days we saw whales spouting and breaching right off shore! We were lucky enough to have a low tide one day and explored the tide pools just down the path from the house. The location is great too - very close to the market and restaurants as well as the main beach access point. The house was clean and well-stocked, and they provide dog towels, too, which is very handy! The only thing I would recommend is that some kind of deck chairs be provided - we had really great weather and would have loved to have sat outside. We had a fabulous time and would definitely come back!
