Charming Victorian with antique touches in the heart of Historic Lewes. Casual decor and well stocked kitchen makes you feel at home. Relax with your morning coffee on the large wrap around front porch or escape to the solitude of the enclosed back yard with small waterfall and fish pond. So close to downtown Lewes that you can stroll there for dinner or shopping. A short bike ride or drive to the beach.

Driveway in back of house is not part of this property. This property is available for shorter stays in the off season. Ask your agent for details.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

This property does not allow pets

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good while it lasted. Left before the week was up due to a medical problem -- muscle spasms in neck and shoulders -- that suddenly cropped up, cause unknown.

Better than home!

The house was really great and they had top of the line appliances. They had all the utensils you need and then some. The beach is minutes away and the outdoor shower was a great way to clean off my grandsons. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard with the koi pond. In the morning, we sat on the wrap around porch and drank our coffee. Great experience and a wonderful vacation.

Girls getaway

My sister and I and 3 friends rented this property for a long weekend. The house was perfectly located within a short walk to downtown Lewes. It was immaculate, charming and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were high quality, and we were thrilled with it in every way. We will definitely be back!

The home had penty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Was beautiful decorated with a lot of extras such as an excellent library and toys for the kids. In a historic neighborhood in easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Lovely, comfortable home in a great Lewes spot

Charming house conveniently located near town and the bike trail, as well as 1 mile walk to bay beach. Walked to farmers market, outdoor concert, and antique show in town. House was well appointed with kitchen utensils, books, videos, and extremely comfortable beds. Decor and furniture very attractive. Cute backyard with grill and outdoor shower. Park on street with no trouble. On a main road, but pretty quiet in the evening, so no trouble with noise.

Beautiful!

This property was even nicer than it looked in the photos. It had a really efficient and lovely kitchen, and all the furniture was comfortable and plentiful. We had a wonderful family vacation and the beach was beautiful! I highly recommend!

Wonderful Historic Home Close to Downtown

Beautiful property! Fenced-in, private back yard patio with waterfall fish pond. Lovely home with cozy decor. Owner has thought of everything down to a first aid cabinet. We enjoyed many hours on the wrap around front porch and though it is on a main road the traffic noise did not bother us. Easy walk to downtown area. We would stay here again!

Clean, convenient location, and very comfortable

Very comfortable and clean home. We really liked having the front porch and backyard outdoor living options, as well. Convenient to downtown (walking) and an easy drive to the beach. We enjoyed everything about our time here and would definitely stay again!

We fell in love with this home

We paid both vrob and gallo reality to book this property Neither would refund us for booking fees paid twice Wish we could rent directly through owner because we lived the home. Picking up keys and stopping to drop the off was an added annoyance . I have always used a lock box at other rentals

Clean, well maintained beautiful home walking distance to shops and restaurants.

This was our first trip to the beach with our 20 month old daughter. The house and itā€™s location were perfect for us. It was unseasonably hot weather but the house remained comfortably cool with central air.

Charming house close to everything

We had a lovely stay in this home in the heart of the historic district of Lewes, about a mile from the municipal beach. Easy drive to the water or the state park, easy walk to town. The house is spacious but feels cozy, the outdoor shower and backyard are wonderful, and the large porch provides lots of seating for enjoying a beverage and watching cars go by. This home worked very well for four adults and two children for a week. We'd definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and clean house situated near central Lewes.

Recommend this house as it comfortably accommodates 4-8 guests. Kitchen is well supplied with cooking essentials; dining room is adjacent. While we rented in the winter, anyone staying in the summer months would also have access to a nice fenced patio for outdoor eating and entertaining.

Spacious, quaint, peaceful, walk to shops/dinner

Spacious house with room for everyone to relax and spread out. Porch gives additional space for peaceful privacy both out front and in the backyard. Love the outdoor shower and pond. Rooms have ample space for clothes to be put away. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We rented bikes and rode to the beach each day and once to the State Park. Neighbors were friendly and lots of street parking right outside of the house. Kid friendly and large dining table to seat 8-10 along with the kitchen bar for additional seating. Nice beach and antique decor that felt like home. We will definitely try to rent this space again.

Relaxing and Comfortable

What a beautiful wrap around porch to welcome you home from a day on the beach or a walk around the quaint town. Our family LOVED the outdoor shower and garden. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds and linens are great quality and the home feels like a page out of pottery barn beach. We will definitely return to this beautiful HOME!

Holiday haven!

This property is a charming old school villa at the seaside, furnished with taste, well equipped, with several bedrooms, a nice garden with bbq, located near the beach and port to cross to New Jersey. Fantastic running and biking nearby at the Cape Henlopen State Park. Cosy restaurants in town at a walking distance. We loved staying at this holiday haven with my family. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and Charming Home

We loved our recent stay at this comfortable home. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around front porch, and spent our evenings in the private garden dining and relaxing. The house has a well equipped kitchen, and the living room was very comfortable, with lots of seating. It's an easy walk to town, and a quick drive to the beach. We'll definitely come back again!

Wonderful family vacation home

We have enjoyed staying in this lovely home several times while vacationing in Lewes. Perfect for a family vacation! It had everything we needed, was clean, well-maintained, and there was enough space for everyone to spread out . This house has wonderful decorations and makes you feel very much at home. The location is perfect too....only a few blocks from downtown Lewes. We biked, walked and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We can't wait to plan our next visit!
