Unlike most rental villas, our family rental home is loved, upgraded regularly to maintain the highest standard... and it shows. Every year we have several repeat guests returning.

Strict cleaning and sanitising practices in place with minimum of 24 hours prior to next guest check in.

Repainted whole exterior and decking, looks fabulous! New sun loungers.

New beds, beautiful porcelain floor tiling installed, see recent uploaded photos + towels, linen etc regularly replaced.

SE facing, lots of sun and one of the longest lots on Emerald Island Resort. This offers more privacy by our pool, especially as the homes to the rear are on a different level.

Upgraded size private pool and spa. Superfast fiber WiFi. Games room with full size pool table, 7 foot air hockey. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, luxurious style furnishings. Sleeps 8-10. Large flatscreen TVs, A superior villa.

Washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board. All white linen and towels included, a huge stock and replaced regularly.

CHILD SAFETY:
Our home is all on one level and has a removable safety fence surrounding the pool.
Complimentary cot, high chair, buggy, and baby alarm.

Villa stay

After reading many good reviews about this villa and Carol herself, I felt confident when booking. When we arrived the villa was as described, overall we were very happy. We had a couple of minor issues which were quickly resolved after contacting Carol. The villa had everything you could need and it is in a great area. Would not hesitate to book another stay here!

We loved this home!

We stayed at this property for 6 weeks. The home is very clean, plus communication with owner and property manager excellent! Kitchen had what we needed, plus a gas grill and crockpot (I’m a big crockpot user while on vacation). We had the pool heated and it was the perfect temp for the chilly days/evenings. The neighborhood is quiet, and the homes and grounds at the resort are perfectly maintained. We are happily booking this home again for next year!

Generally a good stay.

The property was clean and had everything we needed. I paid extra to have the heated hot tub and pool (50/night). The pool was fine but the hot tub was cool. No steam coming from the water. Property manager was called and promptly came to check. The pool was about 85 but the hot tub was only 91. Hot tubs are typically around 100+. This was disappointing because I was looki g forward to relaxing in it. Because the cooler temp we barely used it. The property manager responded to a couple calls we had incl having the wrong code to get in the house.

Beautiful home

Home is beautiful and very well maintained. Online listing did not state that we were responsible for our own paper supplies ( toilet paper and paper towel), or that we had to supply our own dish soap and hand soap. Again, a very nice home but clearer details of supplies needed woukd have made our stay perfect!

Review of Home

This home was in the perfect location. The property was very nice. The only issue I had was the neighbors behind us had a party one night. I could tell the sheets had just been washed because they smelled of bleach which was satisfying and annoying at the same time. The plate in the microwave had burnt stuff on it but we managed to clean it. And the lamp in the main bedroom was torn on the back side. Otherwise, this home was very pleasant and I would totally stay ther again.

Alright stay

The house was fine for our family. We were unable to use one of the bedrooms due to it was made for children young children. It had a waterproof mattress that was very uncomfortable. The house is close to Disney in a well maintained neighborhood. We had an issue with the pool heater, but the property manager was on top of it.

Perfect two week stay

The house and pool area were just as pictured. Beautiful!! We spent most of our two weeks hanging out by the heated pool and spa. The deck area was just perfect. Enjoyed the game room most evernings as well. When we first arrived, we were missing a few kitchen items, called the management, Victoria. She delivered the pieces we mentioned and a few more within a few hours. She was absolutely great to work with throughout the two weeks, She also provided suggestions to us for farmers markets near by. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We took many walks morning and night, and never felt uncomfortable. I also used the gym a few times, and it was a nice addition. The traffic in the near by area is quite congested, as you are very close to disney parks. There is a great walmart and aldi very close I would definitely recommend this house and location, and would definitely come back

Great place, but watch for broken stuff

The location, pool and hot tub were fantastic. Also, set up inside was very very nice. However, there were many things that were broken. They were all small minor things, and we left a list for the property manager. We were just concerned that we would be charged for the broken items.

The location is perfect to many stores and dinning within 5 min.

Our family stayed at this house for 7 nights and enjoyed every day there the house is very spacious and clean the pool was great and it has all the essentials to cook there if that's your preference. The plus to this was the close distance to all Disney Parks approx 15-20 min depending on time of day. All in all very happy with everything this house had to offer, it's location and even the neighbors were very friendly.

Great Stay At Carol's Home In Emerald Island

That crisp "Just Cleaned" fragrance hit us right as we walked through the door. Well stocked, clean, well maintained home. Very nice pool and hot tub, crystal clear water. The pool toys could not have been more than a year old. Appliances all worked well, nice pool table in the game-room/garage. Plenty of towels, linens, pillows and separate beach/pool towels. Even a baby monitor (if needed) in the master bedroom. Very simple check-in instructions, and never needed the property management team. We are looking forward to coming back!

MAGICAL STAY

Easy access, everything mentioned on VRBO was correct. Huge rooms, 3 bathrooms a plus. 2 dining areas great for 10 people. Wifi, cable, pool, play room a huge plus. Enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.

Great location, nice pool and spa

Booking it was a breeze but come check in time its a different story. Upon arrival at the property the access code i was given did not work. We had to wait for about an hour to get a response from the property manager to give us a different code. Pool was not heated when we got there even if I paid for it in advance . Pool lights were also not working, it got fixed with only 2 days left in our stay. We mentioned the problem with the lights on the day of our arrival. The house needs some refurbishing but the location was great.

Nice property with challenges

This is a nice property that had a responsive owner and good renting process. The location of the house within the neighborhood causes a challenge as it’s swimming pool backs into the swimming pool of about 10 other houses, as a result, people who want to party at night are very disruptive at night with loud music. I liked the house a lot aside from this. While some wear and tear from age shows, it is still spacious and clean. We had a bug issue on the last day, but this is something that can pop up in any Florida property. Property Management were proactive on a door locking issue that was much appreciated. Bottom line, if you are sensitive to a party atmosphere be aware, other than that - a solid house and renting experience.

Worst experience

This property needs a major update and renovation. Had to buy our own pillows, sheet sets for all beds and covers. Sheets had yellow stains on it Twin beds are too small. Very disappointed

I would not stay here

The house was very old fashion the management company was very rude we arrive to a cold pool and i paid extra to get it heated which never got warm so I ended up checking out a day after i checked in it was horrible I drove for 20 hrs to have such a bad experience i would not recommend this place.

We are a family of four who love active, fun vacations and for us you can't beat the thrills and excitement Orlando has to offer (photo taken in Mexican restaurant in Epcot). We have had several memorable vacations in Orlando, each with a different itinerary which is the beauty of Orlando, there is so much to explore and experience. Our children are 26 and 24 and still keen to come us with and I'm sure they will for many years. We have shared these holidays with grandparents, relatives and close friends. Precious memories which will last a lifetime.

Our villa is on the closest gated resort to Disney - only 3 miles. Unbeatable location. This is my family holiday home and unlike investors and agents, who run their property as a business and without care, our home has lots of tlc and we take great pride in keeping it in top condition with regular upgrades. We have taken 48 bookings from returning guests, with 12 families returning for their third visit and 9 families for their fourth visit. We have very high standards and reinvest in keeping our home in pristine condition, both inside and out. We are looking to attract guests who would like to rent our home with similar high standards and respect for a beautiful home.

Being on a gated resort offers the best of both worlds. It offers so much more than a hotel room to have your own space with private pool, jacuzzi and games room. Emerald Island Resort also has the benefits of the conceige desk at the clubhouse where you can seek advice and guidance re local attractions, together with the full use of the facilities on the resort. Our management company are always reliable and close to hand should you have any queries; a freephone number is available in the villa for guests to call their office and make local calls.
