Timeless “Bay Header” two blocks from the beach and close to the downtown shops

This spacious, light-filled, serene and uncluttered, cedar-shingled, classic "Bay Header" is located in the heart of Bay Head. Walking distance to everything Bay Head has to offer, it's a great house for a multi generational family; Grandparents, parents, teenagers, babies - there is something for everyone! (we realize our 4-legged friends are part of the family but our No-Pet policy is firm so please don’t ask:)

The Bridge Ave beach is a quick two block walk away which is especially handy with young children, or when the weather suddenly turns.

Mueller's Bakery, Taylor Sam’s (formerly Dune Grass Cafe), the Jolly Tar, Twilight Lake, the Cheese & Wine Shop, Burke’s Market, restaurants, shops, pickleball/tennis courts, kids’ playground - they’re all right there. The NJ Transit train station with service to NYC is a short walk away, just on the other side of the lake.

The main floor has wonderful communal space with an open floor plan with Dining/Living Room, eat-in Kitchen, and half bath.

Doors at either end of the house open onto the wrap-around porch which offers great people watching, rain or shine.
The Kitchen slider opens onto a separate porch which has an outdoor shower, a lovely view of the channel and the sunset.
The only lawn is what you see in the picture, it is now fenced in.

The second floor has plenty of privacy with three full bathrooms and five bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full, and 2 bedrooms with 2 Twin beds each)

Guests must bring their own bedding (sheets, blankets, bedspreads) and towels (bath and beach). We provide bed pillows (if you’d rather not bring bedding and towels from home there are companies on-line who will deliver and pick-up)

The house has no laundry facilities but complimentary "Wash & Fold" laundry service is provided which includes pickup and delivery, often the same day.

We have 2-zone Central AC plus ceiling fans in every bedroom. Utilities, wireless internet and Cable TV are included, as well as 6 beach badges (required for 12 years and older)

We have a 7-night minimum from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Multi-week, and monthly stays are welcome.
Check-IN is Friday at 5:00pm, Check-OUT is Friday at 12noon.

And again, although we love them, our No-Pet policy is firm, so please don't ask:)
