This spacious, light-filled, serene and uncluttered, cedar-shingled, classic "Bay Header" is located in the heart of Bay Head. Walking distance to everything Bay Head has to offer, it's a great house for a multi generation family; Grandparents, parents, teenagers, babies - there is something for everyone! (we realize our 4-legged friends are part of the family but please know that our No-Pet policy is firm)

The Bridge Ave beach is a quick two block walk away which is especially handy with young children, or when the weather suddenly turns.

Mueller's Bakery, Taylor Samā€™s (formerly Dune Grass Cafe). Twilight Lake, the Cheese & Wine Shop, Burkeā€™s Market, restaurants, shops, pickle ball/tennis courts, kidsā€™ playground - they are all right there.

The NJ Transit train station with service to NYC is a just on the other side of the lake, a short walk away.

The main floor has wonderful communal space with an open floor plan with Dining/Living Room, eat-in Kitchen, and half bath.

Doors at either end of the house open onto the wrap-around porch which offers great people watching, rain or shine.

The Kitchen slider opens onto a separate porch which has an outdoor shower, a lovely view of the channel and the sunset.

The only lawn is what you see in the picture, it is now fenced in.

The second floor has plenty of privacy with three full bathrooms and five bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full, and 2 bedrooms with 2 Twin beds each)

Guests must bring their own bedding (sheets, blankets, bedspreads) and towels (bath and beach). We provide bed pillows (if youā€™d rather not bring bedding and towels from home there are companies on-line who will deliver and pick-up)

The house has no laundry facilities but complimentary "Wash & Fold" laundry service is provided which includes pickup and delivery, often the same day.

We have 2-zone Central AC plus ceiling fans in every bedroom. Utilities, wireless internet and Cable TV are included, as well as 6 beach badges (required for 12 years and older)

We have a 7-night minimum from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Multi-week, and monthly stays are welcome.

Check-IN Friday at 5:00pm, Check-OUT Friday at 12noon.

And again, although we love them, our No-Pet policy is firm, so please don't ask.

We absolutely love this rental property! Allison & Bill are very responsive to any needs. They have paid attention to all the details to make it truly feel like home. A short walk to the beautiful beach & a wonderful bakery, fantastic lunch & breakfast place , cheese & wine shop, Playa Bowls, some nice shops & a fabulous restaurant Charlies!!

Excellent week at the shore! House is very clean and well maintained. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Location is convenient- right across from Playa Bowl and Mueller's Bakery, and the park/playground/tennis/pickle ball courts are a very short walk away. Short walk to the beach- do have to cross the main intersection in Bay Head with a light that can take a while, but small price to pay!

First Time in BayHead

Iā€™m calling this my familyā€™s best vacation ever. Spent 2 weeks there . Great location for travel for my childrenā€™s young families. I found the spot perfect for quiet times at the beach , great dining options and fun times to bike ride or just get your steps in. Looking forward to going back

Perfect stay in the heart of Bay Head

Wonderful BH home for our entire family (3 generations!). It was pretty amazing to be able to walk out the front door to all of the shops, restaurants, etc. Bill and Allison were very responsive and helpful, and made the stay perfect for what we were looking for. We'd come back again and recommend this home!

All you could ask for!

Where to begin? From perfect hosts - responsive, accommodative, patient and understanding - to a SUPER Fun Bay Head location - to a spacious, clean and well appointed house - this is a WONDERFUL place to stay in Bay Head! It's been a birthday retreat for several years now and we are NEVER disappointed by any aspect of our stay here (other than the fact that we have to leave!)

Porch perfection!

The lovely porch with summer breezes were perfect for relaxing, chatting and cocktails. The location is 2 blocks to a swimmable beach with life guards and walking distance to restaurants, including playa bowls and an ice cream shop across the street. The house was clean and well stocked with cook and bar ware. The outdoor shower is a big plus! Truly all you need for a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed it so much, we plan to return next year.!

We really like staying here, but there are a lot of stairs. It's something to be aware of. Also there are no bedspreads on the beds, And no washing machines.

This is a great location and accommodates extended family. we love the multiple porches, you can move with the sun and wind. The owners are easy to deal with and accessible.

House was lovely as was the location. House had plenty of room with lots of updates throughout. Weather didnā€™t cooperate but we still had a fantastic time. Walking distance to all great shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Owners Bill and Allison very great to work with as well!

Lovely stay in Bay Head

Proximity to the beach was great. Lots of food nearby. We went on lots of walks, played tennis at the community courts, played at the playground, took a short drive up to the boardwalk, etc. It was a great trip for our extended family. The house had everything we needed, other than linens - which is pretty standard and, honestly, itā€™s pretty nice to have your own. The wash and fold service offered was very convenient. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Bay Head Weekend

Where to begin?!?! From the responsiveness and consideration of the owners, to the great location in the heart of town (not too busy in late September) to the cleanliness and comfort of the house, 432 Lake is a wonderful place to stay in Bay Head. So much room to spread out, a GREAT kitchen to hang out while you're preparing meals, a HUGE dining/living area, and SO MUCH room upstairs. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!

Excellent Property and Location

We have rented this property several times. Great location and excellent condition inside and out. Right in the center of Bat Head and only 2 blocks from the beach. Highly recommend. We tried the free laundry service this time and all went well.

Highlight of our sunmer

We have been staying at this home for the past four years with our entire family. Itā€™s something we all look forward to! Being together. Being at the beach. What could be better? Although bc of COVID we missed our favorite couple. My parents decided not to go out of fear of getting sick. It was the toughest decision for them. They are already looking toward to year five in the summer of 2021. Love 432 Lake ā¤ļø

Four generations of our family have been coming to Bay Head since the 1920's. We love Bay Head's natural beauty and its charming small town feel. Families like our's return year after year to enjoy its beaches, tennis courts, crabbing in the channel, and sailing in the bay.

Our home is a 2 block walk from the Bridge Ave beach and is close to the amenities of the downtown - Mueller's bakery, shops, restaurants, bank, Post Office, playground, tennis courts, the channel and Twilight Lake.
We are walking distance to the train station (1/2 mile) with NJ Transit service to New York's Penn Station which makes it ideal for an escape from the city.
Convenient by car via the GS Parkway (exit 98) or the NJ Turnpike (exit 7A) you can get to Bay Head from just about anywhere!
Boardwalks with amusements for children of all ages are available in Pt Pleasant immediately north of Bay Head or Seaside Heights 10 miles south of Bay Head.
