Lakefront home-large beach & yard, clear water-RELAX & build memories- sleeps 12

Build memories with family or friends at his lakefront home that has everything you’ll need to make your stay relaxing and fun. Hugh yard and sandy beach-front to enjoy with lots of yard games and tubes included. These also is a beautiful sand bar in the middle of the lake to swim and play. Normal rentals run seven days from Sat 3 pm to Sat 10 am. PLUS, extra cleaning of all surfaces is being done between all rentals!

Home located on Pine Lake (Waupaca area) has 2-bedrooms with queen beds and a large sleeping loft with 6 twins (or use 2 twins to form a king size bed). The main floor includes 2 nice size bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, full bath & living room w/ a gas fireplace, a spectacular view of Pine Lake & a huge walk out deck overlooking the lake. The lower level is an unfinished basement with 3/4 bath and laundry room. The home also comes with TV (2), high speed fiber WIFI internet access, DVD player, gas grill, plenty of outdoor furniture, beach front fire pit w/firewood included, private pier, paddle boat and row boat.

A pontoon boat (optional) is $750 per week (or $200 per day - 1/2 tank of gas included) and great for going to the sand bar in the middle of the lake, sunset cocktail cruises, and fishing. It is a 2000 Odyssey Millennium in excellent condition with a 2016 60 HP Evinrude motor. 2 Kayaks are also available for rent for $70 total from both or $100 for large Lilly pad for both for the week. Up to one dog well behaved allowed ($150 fee).

Many nice restaurants, bars, gift stores, and other attractions including canoe riding down the Crystal River or a day cruises on the Chain of Lakes in Waupaca (King) - referral book at the home with many suggestions including one of the best Friday fish fry's in the state (Golden Nugget in Pine River....4/5 pieces of lake perch meal for only $13). Pine Lake is open to motor boats, watercraft and watersport activities with wake hours between 10 am and 5 pm (NO wake hours run from 5 pm to 10 am to allow good time for relaxing fishing, or slow cocktail and sunset cruises around the lake.) We have enjoyed this lake for over 35 years and so will YOU!

What we hoped for

I wish I could attach a photo or two. My children gathered from both sides of the US and our friends came and went. The property easily accommodated all of us. Her vacation home is a legacy to a beautiful life fully loved and alive still. Mimi is the bees knees and will live in our hearts forever. I hope we can return.

Pine Lake Perfection

We absolutely LOVED our experience at Mimi's Place! Not only a beautiful location, but our hostess Mimi seemed to have thought through our every possible need. The cottage was stocked with more than just basic necessities. There were extra tables, chairs, beach toys, lawn games, ice, firewood, DVDs, clothesline, etc. Our family would definitely love to go back! Thank you Mimi!

Awesome week at Mimi's Place!

My family and I were looking for a quiet get away to rest and rejuvenate, and that is exactly what we found at Mimi's Place. From the minute that we arrived at Pine Lake, when Mimi showed us around and took us on a pontoon ride until the time we checked out, we got exactly what we were hoping for. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Everything that you need for your week is provided. Pine Lake is an absolutely beautiful, crystal clear lake. We went for many boat rides and enjoyed the beauty. We were thrilled that we could bring our dog (golden doodle) with us as we wanted to enjoy the time with her as well. Our kids came to visit, and we had our granddaughter stay with us for most of the week. Mimi is absolutely a joy to work with from stat to end, and we definitely would like to return. I could not have been more thrilled with our week!

Great Getaway

We had a great time staying at Mimi's place. The house was perfect for our family and dogs. Mimi was a great host. She made sure we were well taken care of and even gave us a tour of the lake. Renting the pontoon boat is a must! The fishing was great. All of the kids caught a lot and kept them entertained for house. The lake was clear and very clean. Can't wait to go back when the water is not so high to use the sand bar. We will be back again for sure and can't wait!

Perfect in nearly every way!

We had a great time at Mimi’s. If I had to find anything to improve upon it would simply be that we didn’t receive the check in instructions until late in the evening and were delayed in our arrival bc however I think this was a complete one-time miss and the cabin and amenities overshadowed it all. The pontoon was great, the yard was great (even with the high water), we loved it and hope to return soon. Thank you so much!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The cottage was very clean and well maintained. Lots of water toys and life vests in the basement. Plenty of room for our kids and grandkids to sleep, play and have fun in the water. Even our 2 year old grandson could just splash around on the sand beach and in the shallow water,when he wasn't riding in the boat with Grandpa, watching the tubers. The week was sunny & hot, perfect for in the water.We caught a fair amount of fish (bluegills) by end of week. At night the campfires were great and going into the A/C cottage for a good sleep kept us going all week. Thanks again, Mimi, for lots of summer memories.

We enjoyed our stay with our family.

The home and property were satisfactory. We had 4 adults and 5 kids ranging in age from one year to 8 years. Only drawback was the loft because once kids were asleep we had to be quiet downstairs. This year all the rain that had fallen left most of the sandy beach under water and the sand bar also underwater. It was something beyond anyone's control. The kids had fun anyway, fishing from the dock, jumping off the dock in the shallow end, and going for boat rides. We also had bonfires and we went into Waupaca and WIld Rose for ice cream, visiting antique stores and lunches. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice and very comfortable!

My friends and I were very pleased with the property and amenities provided at Mimi's place. It was well stocked and very comfortable. The only reason for not giving the 5th star is that I found the lake to be a little weedier than I expected, curtailing the swimming opportunities right off shore. The fishing and boating were excellent.

The house is really cute. It was a lake house and had that feel.

Our family had a great time there. We rented the pontoon boat and the kayaks and put them to good use. We fished and swam and had a great time. The second bathroom is in the basement area so makes it a little hard. It is pretty far from the bedrooms. Just be aware that you have to bring your own linens, and you have to clean the whole place before you leave. This is not the case in others homes I have rented for a week.

Very relaxing week

Had a wonderful week at the Henderson's. Lake is beautiful and clean. A little weed, but fine for fishing, tubing, and skiing. Younger kids had fun on the small beach, jumping off the dock and playing with all the beach toys and inflatables. Beach area was a little small for the bigger kids, but they loved the paddle boat, kayaks, and fishing off the dock. Cabin was great. Everything we needed to prepare all our meals and space to eat in or out on the big deck. Great yard and shade when it's hot. Breeze off the lake was nice and house was comfortable with the ac or open windows. 2 bedrooms were great for the adults and kids loved the loft. It was a little more challenging putting the little ones to sleep when everyone else was up because of how open the loft is, but sitting outside or around the fire pit worked well until they fell asleep. Overall an awesome week!

Perfect and peaceful.

The property was perfect for our party of 10 and offered plenty of room to rest and relax. Of course, we had great weather and spent most of out time outdoors -- a nice swimming area, kayaks, and the pontoon boat (optional rental) made for fun days playing in and on the water, cruising the lake, and fishing. I will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Perfect Accomodations

We picked Mimi's place because it was halfway between the Twin Cities and Chicago, easy enough for both my family and my brother's family to meet at. The accommodations were perfect, we arrived early and everything was already set up and waiting for us. There was plenty of games and water toys for the little ones, chairs and floats for the adults, and as a cook I really appreciated all the clean and new equipment (I think more than I have at home). The house was spacious enough for six adults and four tiny ones with all the outdoor deck space (though we're a close family), and our family dog was welcome as well. The lake was serene and beautiful, perfect for fishing in the early morning or dozing next to with a book in the afternoon. Some of the nearby small towns were quaint and full of things for summer cabin families to do with restaurants, shopping, and family activities. Most of all though we just enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and felt at all times we had a gracious host who would help any way they could to make our family vacation enjoyable. We plan on returning next year for sure! Great accommodations and highly recommended!!!

Paradise !!

Mimi's place on Pine Lake is an amazing place to stay. It was fun and relaxing for our whole family. There was lots to do for people of all ages. The cottage is cute and comfortable and has the best lakefront view. It was a great family experience we made a lot of memories! Plus Pine lake is gorgeous! I would HIGHLY recommend this cottage to others!
