Walton Dunes 14 –

This pristine 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome is located in the beautiful Seagrove Beach. Walton Dunes 14 is nestled on the sugar white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The beautifully decorated property has warm tones and top of the line furnishings throughout. Kick up your feet and enjoy breathtaking Gulf views right off your back patio. You are a short drive from all the wonderful activities South Walton has to offer. Head over to Seaside to experience one of the most famous communities along this stretch of beach, or head the other direction to take in beautiful Rosemary and Alys Beach.

Initially named after the thick grove of windswept trees bordering its pristine white sand beach, Seagrove has stayed true to its “roots” by preserving its original natural beauty. Accommodations hosted along its shores include quaint beachfront condominiums, lavish beach-side resorts, and colorful vacation homes. In addition, Seagrove Beach is a quiet oasis that is surrounded by the bustling luxury lifestyle destinations including Seaside and WaterSound.

The bedding in Walton Dunes 14 includes a King master bedroom, a second bedroom with a Full-size bed and a Twin bunk bed, in addition to a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

First Floor: Covered Parking.

Second Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, Powder Room.

Third Floor: King Master Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, Full Bedroom with Twin Bunk Bed, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Laundry.

Great place, awesome location!

Loved the area already, but staying here made it even better! Quiet beach, quiet neighborhood and great unit with excellent management and communication when needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Hurricane Sally didn't stop us

It was a great trip despite a mid-trip visit from Sally. The house was a great place to watch the storm. We had a great week.

Beautiful condo

My only complaint was the rain that poured in by the sliding doors and there’s no pool or chairs included in this stay. Other than that, we really enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect!

Week on the beach

The appartment was good and private right on the beach. The private beach was great with adjagent nature beach stretch. Good for long private beach walks. Lots of fast food places. Few real southern style nice restaurants with excellent menue.

Nice Property on the Beach

Had a great time as always in the Seaside/Seagrove Beach area and there was no real problem with the property other then the key-less door that didn't want to work properly on occasion. Maintenance was quick to come out and knew what to do when it happened later on.

Uncomfortable sofa!

Very nice remodel except for the sofa. Needs something more comfortable. Nice property. Beautiful view. Loved the private beach. The master bedroom tv did not work and our email request for maintenance was not acknowledged.

Spring break with grandkids

Loved the location… beautiful beachfront views tucked away in a quiet beach area!Nice unit exactly as described, but TV’s were dated with multiple remotes and no instructions or help from property mgr. Glad we had our own YouTube TV account.Took hours to dry clothes and towels, so could use a new dryer!Lost a fob and charged significant amount for that. Make sure the fobs in unit are on a lanyard!

Great 1st Time at Walton Dunes!

This is our first time staying along 30A & we are so happy we discovered Walton Dunes 14! Just a 3 mile bike ride west to Seaside. We enjoyed riding there a couple of days to enjoy lunch and shopping. Going east on 30A, you will have another short 5 mile ride to Rosemary Beach for quaint eateries and shopping. This is the ideal location between two bustling areas! Our 7 & 4 year olds enjoyed the beach. The sugar beach was the best beach we have ever been on (we have been on plenty) and the shallow turquoise water lets nervous parents relax while the kids have fun in the water. The owners were awesome to work with as was Big Fish Bike Rental! We will be back next year!

Great location

The accommodations were as listed and location was awesome with the private beach just steps away. Only feedback for improvement that would’ve made our stay better is that I was expecting some home essentials to be supplied like I’ve experienced at other VRBOs. For example: extra rolls of toilet paper in all bathrooms; plastics wrap, aluminum foil, hand soap for kitchen, basic spices like sugar, salt, pepper, and a one-week supply of trash bags. One last item was the second bedroom upstairs did not have a remote (or perhaps it was in a drawer we didn't look inside) so the kids couldn’t turn on the overhead/fan light.

Great view!

This condo was great for our week at the beach! The view is great & the condo is beautiful. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen- I understand we are at the beach but I also expect to be able to put food in the pantry. The rental company was great to deal with regarding that. They sprayed twice while we were there, but the problem remained. We had to keep all open food in the fridge, which wasn't the end of the world just a little inconvenient. Beyond that, we didn't have any problems and had a wonderful week at the beach.

Some challenges

Key FOB to get to beach was VERY VERY inconvenient. We had 6 people and only 2 FOB's. Not at all conducive to our needs for the week. We also had an unexpected/unannounced service call. My daughter came back to the beach by herself and 2 guys were upstairs in our unit.

Awesome property!

We had a super great time! The property was ideal and the online listing was right on the money! It was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and we had so many white fluffy bath towels. The beds were very comfy and the location was FABULOUS!! We rode our bikes a lot! The private beach access was wonderful and Burkes Beach Rentals provided our beach set up and bikes. It was close to perfect. I only have one recommendation: The curtains in the master bedroom need to have a black out curtain behind them. I was up at 6 a.m. every morning due to the brightness of our room and I would have liked to have at least slept in until 8;) Overall...FANTASTIC! We'll be back for sure!!!!

Amazing & Romantic Getaway

My husband and I visit the area every year for our anniversary. There are plenty of nice places to stay down here, but Walton Dunes 14 is by far our favorite. There's no longer a question of where we stay when we come down. The location is perfect, the beach always seems less crowded, the parking is covered and convenient, beach access is easy and the townhouse itself is just wonderful. The decorations, the balconies, the size and the kitchen are all things we love here. We typically rent a kayak for the week from Butterfly and get to follow dolphins around in it daily, which is always really entertaining. We are always so sad to leave, but 110% look forward to being back next year. Recommended restaurants: Old Florida Fishhouse (sushi/seafood), Whiskey Bravo (great roof top bar for drinks, apps, dinner and/or dessert), Paradis (great upscale dinner and typically our anniversary dinner spot). We also got our fresh grouper and scallops for dinners in at Buddy's just down the road, and were really pleased with that as well.

Perfect View

We had a really nice time at this condo! The view is just amazing. Super close access to the private beach. Condo was very clean. Ocean Reef made everything so easy & were extremely communicative. One addition not pictured is the curtain on the sliding doors in the living area, which was nice! The upstairs bathroom & guest room could use some painting. It would be nice if the TV in the living area had some way to steam Netflix, Hulu, etc. TV also has some issues with picture, but not so much that you can’t watch it. These weren’t a big deal for us & I would definitely rent this condo again. It’s in a great spot, we were close to Publix, restaurants & gift shops. Had everything we needed in the condo & in terms of location. And again, the view is phenomenal! Thanks so much!

Excellent family vacation!

This condo is in an excellent location, the views are superb, the beds are comfortable, the price was great, and the place was well-decorated. There are several items that would have made our stay perfect: The stove knobs are on the front. This isn’t safe for children and they would turn on when we would bump into them. If you ever change the stove, consider this a hazard. I would have kept the floor cleaner, but there was no broom in the condo, no dust pan, and no working vacuum. It would have been nice to be able to vacuum. Please consider adding pot holders, oven mits, a non stick frying pan, and some containers for leftovers to the condo. All other supplies were great. The coffee pots, dishes, and silverware were excellent.

Definitely a perfect place to stay.

Location was perfect. Beautiful views from both balconies. Decorated nicely and clean. Property management, quick to respond and helpful. Personal preference only. I would of liked window coverings on main sliding glass windows. Similar to upstairs. Provide more privacy especially in evening hours. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Delayed Spring Break

Our stay here was highly anticipated because we originally planned it back in January 2020 for our 2020 Spring Break. Our kids had never been to a beach vacation bit sadly it had to be postponed due to covid. The rental company was able.to bump it us out 52 weeks, sadly our spring break 2021 was 53 weeks later. Despite that we proceeded with the booking. 5 days before our trip I was notified work was being done on the unit but it would only affect us for 1 DAY MAX!! they offered us a 10% discount and since they had nothing else to offer and it was less than a week from our vacation we took it. But during our entire trip we had to deal with construction on both sides of the building and in the neighboring unit. Some workers were kind others were rude and nasty (there were 4 different companies there during our stay). I complained to management but got no further reply after the master bedroom TV was fixed. The unit and location was nice and quiet (the #1 reason I originally rented here) but their construction and information was badly timed (spring break) and misinformed. If I had known the work was this extensive I would have canceled and accepted a full refund. Under normal circumstances I'd come back to this location but then clarify of information and respect for covid rebooting leaves something to be desired.

I have stayed at this property many times and the location is awesome. The rental company was great, TV's didn't work and they sent someone immediately to fix the problem
