Come to Emerald Isle 210, where emerald waters and sugar white sands abound! The Emerald Isle complex is situated right on the beach on gorgeous Okaloosa Island! Relax poolside or grill some delectable treats on the pool deck. This updated two bedroom, two bath condo has a king sized bed in the master, a king bed in the guest room, and a queen sleeper sofa in living room, so it sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. There is a fully equipped kitchen that includes new cabinetry. The dining room is open to the living room, so the chef can mingle with the group. The kitchen has a great open counterspace with bar stools - perfect for snacking! If you're looking for a fantastic place to unwind, this is it!

The Emerald Isle complex is situated right on the beach on gorgeous Okaloosa Island! Northern view is of the Sound- part of the Intercoastal Waterway, overlooking yachts,fishing craft, and beach homes. The beachside pool is spectacular with a handy ramp down to the beach for easy access. The pool area has plenty of lounge chairs and a picnic area complete with grills for a juicy steak on a balmy night.

Great stay for a family of 5.

After reading some of the reviews we were skeptical we arrived and the condo was fine. Everything was as pictured. Yes the beds could be better but they also weren't horrible. It for sure met it's purpose and we were comfortable. We would for sure stay here again.

Emerald Isle Resort

Had a wonderful time. Unit was adequate and comfortable for our needs. The view on the balcony was not the greatest. It over looked a parking lot and a empty lot which blocked our view of the gulf. Also, needed a map in the unit of the resort to know where everything was located.

Family summer beach vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle 210. The booking process, checking in and out were all simple. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. We cooked our breakfast every morning. We really loved the two king sized beds and two full bathrooms. The kitchen was small but served it’s purpose. This unit is on the beach side, which is very nice. No walking across streets. The pool was so relaxing. We love staying on Okaloosa island and will definitely stay here again. I recommend using RealJoy vacations to anyone. Thanks for a fun beach trip.

Ocean front Getaway

I arrived and not only was the wifi password on the fridge, but there were white fluffy towels and fresh bedsheets by the pullout couch. The condo had tasteful decorations and plush carpet and couches. I had a variety of lamps to set the mood that I desired. The big screen had cable and there was a beautiful view from the balcony (which was soundproof!!). Though I didn't need to utilize the washer/dryer unit located in the laundry room halfway down the condo hallway, the sea breeze on the balcony worked nicely with the complementary drying rack to get the job done.The fridge was ice cold and I had an assortment of glassware to crisp my chicken nuggets in when I was hungry. A little renovation construction was going on in the complex at the time, but the workmen were friendly and gave the inside scoop on the fun beach locations and places to eat. 10/10 I recommend!

I wanna go again!

Read a lot of reviews before we went. Folks complained about weather and such that the owners cannot control. Condo was spacious and nice. Not the fanciest place we ever staid but very nice. Everything worked. Bathroom door had to be picked up to shut properly. King bedroom views the gulf. Bath is private to that room. Queen bed in other room with separate bath. 2 big couches for others. One is a sleeper sofa. They put out chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you. Even had 'boogie boards' in closet to use. Was maybe 100 yards to the beach. Great balcony to sit on. Of course, the smokers paid no attention to the 'no smoking' sign at the pool. Found a great church - Calvary Baptist in Ft. Walton Beach - to visit. Great location - about 5 mins to downtown Ft. Walton, maybe 10 to Destin depending on traffic. I'm not real fond of public beaches. We swam at night. I wanna go again!

Dirty/Filthy & Worst Customer Service

Where do I start...This place was SO dirty and filthy! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I rented this place out for five days and I was so scared I might get bed bugs. I called to complain and they resent the cleaning lady which she showed up with her four year and her teenage son without a mask. Are they not aware we’re in the middle of an epidemic?!?! She used our cleaning supplies to clean the facility, the carpet was black due to the stains all over the place. The sofa had food in between the cushions, all of the doors handles where black because they had not been wipe down or disinfected at all. The bed sheets had hairs and the restroom had urine all around the toilet seat. I’ve never experience anything like this before. This place was a nightmare! I even emailed them multiple pictures so they can see the conditions the rental property was in and they just didn’t care. In fact, they didn’t act surprise at all which made me think this is not the first time they’ve complains/issues with this property. They refuse to refund my money and wanted to compensate me with a fifty dollar dinner gift card which does not add up two thousand one hundred and eight dollars I paid for five days. This is NOT a vacation home, this place is false advertising and a dump literally! Do not waist your time or money on this place.

Good location

The location was great…the place was okay. When we got there the door was open so I was very cautious when going in. I didn’t know if someone was in there or not. The front door looked like it had been busted in a few times from prior. The tv was hard to work as you had to be up close to work the remote in the front living room. After the first night, I killed the biggest cockroach I had ever seen. Had to be 3” long and and 1” wide. After I kille it, I was very apprehensive about leaving any food on the counters…and the next morning I killed another small cockroach by the door. I think the place definitely needs to make sure the pest control is done! After those instances, I kept the food in the fridge or microwave. There were plenty of towels and the toiletries were very skimpy. Had one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. We brought our own shampoo and soap so that wasn’t an issue. I didn’t report the bug issue as what was the property management going to do? I figured nothing so what was the point. We left a few complimentary items in the closet like some sand toys and inner tubes for the next people. We had a pump so I would remind buying one and placing it in the closet. The weather was beautiful and make sure you reserve your chairs and umbrella for the beach, you will need it. Like I said the place was okay, a bit out dated, needs work on the tv remotes, and definitely needs a pest company to come in a spray the place. Thanks for the memories!

Nice location!

Property is in a good location. Just a reminder that this unit is NOT right on the beach. It overlooks a parking area. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thanks for a lovely vaca!

Terrible

The condo inside is too old. Everything is broken. The toilet bowl is not flush. The bathtub faucets is not work. The slide is also broke. The eye of the stove is not work. The faucet in the master bathroom run all day. The toilet bowl not fix correctly, so the water run all night.

Girl's Weekend

We came to the beach for a girl's weekend and to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Overall this condo was pretty good. The location is perfect for spending the day at the beach. It wasn't exceptionally clean, but it was clean enough. There were all of the basic dishes and cookware, and there was sufficient bath towels and wash clothes, but not enough paper towels for our stay. There were some maintenence issues; there is a piece of wall trim by the dining area that was broken and could scratch or cut someone, and a picture by the couch fell, it appeared that it wasn't hung properly. All and all we were happy with our stay.

Girls getaway

Our trip was absolutely wonderful! My grandma is unable to get out on the beach so she absolutely enjoyed the view and all the amenities with the condo. We have always stayed in hotels, but after this experience we will be back to Emerald Isle! Great property, great home, and amazing experience!! Thank you!!!

Comfortable stay

Property is overall very good. Located close to the beach, pool is good, and the apartment provides a decent view of the ocean. Beds are good. Kitchen is well equipped, although microwave is quite high. Would've been a 5* rating, but for some (minor) aspects requiring updates. For example, bathrooms and carpet. Also, a fan in the family room would be awesome.

Everything we expected

The description of the condo, placement in relativity to the beach, access to restaurants, shopping and overall help from staff was as described. A little different having a company to call instead of a front desk clerk was a little different, but we don't travel a lot. We wouldn't have noticed any difference anyway. Would recommend and look forward to next year's vacation in Fort Walton, FL. Maybe next year we can start looking for a place a little sooner and find even better options. We enjoyed our stay...the king size bed was super comfy. However, the microwave in the unit was attached to the ceiling. I'm only 5 feet tall...and not in my 20's. So, I did not like having to use a two-step step stool to reach it. There's plenty of counter space to put one on. And one of the folding closet doors was not attached. The water pressure in the unit was awesome and the view was amazing. The walk to the beach was short. It was very convenient to have the keyless entry. So, overall we enjoyed our visit!

Outside is beautiful

Inside smelled of heavy smoke mold and mildew. Older nasty carpet and dusty throughout. Called management Banda they said they would send maintenance man.. He confirmed smells and asked to put in air freshener. There was no place to move us to. Waited for call and called but no answer several times. The place is very dated interior but has good potential if taken care of properly. Mold really strong in AC unit and in the guest room.
