Welcome the New Year by booking with us early on Hilton Head Island.

SamsHiltonHut is located at Tanglewood Villas on Tanglewood Drive. It is an end unit villa with 2 bedrooms (plenty of sunshine) and 2 baths located on the second floor. Entry level includes living room, kitchen and dining room.
A half bathroom and a balcony overlooking the lagoon is also located on the entry level. SamsHiltonHut is a perfect place to call home while on vacation anytime of the year. Located steps from Hilton Head Island’s South Forest beach shoreline. The villa contains all the modern conveniences of home. This 2-story villa allows for space to have fun and quiet for those who like to sleep late with the bedrooms located upstairs. The villa includes a balcony overlooking the lagoon, a pool on sight, flat screen HD TVs and high speed wireless internet to keep you connected. The washer and dryer upstairs makes it easy to freshen up your beachwear. You will find beach chairs, and a beach wagon under the stairs to carry it all on your trip to the beach. The keyless entry system means no need to worry about lost keys in the sand. We are located near Coligny plaza, Low Country Celebration Park and the World Famous Tiki Bar. The villa is within walking distance to great restaurants from gourmet to family dining and terrific takeout. Bike rentals, grocery stores and numerous activities are an easy walk along the paths. Park the car and explore the islands more than 50 miles of bike/walking/running trails, enjoy great long walks along the beautiful 12 miles of shoreline and make some new friends at the beach. However you want to enjoy your time on Hilton Head Island, SamsHiltonHut will be the perfect place to stay. We provide bed linens, bath towels and a few items to get you started. You can easily fly direct into Hilton Head Airport located on the island or Savannah Airport which is less than an hour away. Numerous activities around the Island include swimming, golfing from beginner to professional, miniature golf, tennis, jet skis, wildlife refuge, boggie boarding, fishing and shopping at two Tanger Outlets. *No beach towels are provided.
We have installed a front door camera for security.
*You can only book 7-day increments between 24 May until 5 September 2025.(Saturday to Saturday).

Great stay on Hilton Head

Property was great. Consistent with description and pictures. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Walk to Coligny Beach and Village was less than 5 minutes. Having bedrooms on top floor is beneficial with families that have older kids.

Lovely Villa with all the comforts of home!

Host was very attentive, villa is lovely and well-equipped. Our adult children stayed in this villa while we stayed in another. VERY comfortable beds and wonderful dining room table for card games on a rainy day. Location is amazing! We have been staying in this location for over 18 years and this villa is one of one best! Close to beach, Coligny, and pool. Walking path we used every day!

Favorite Area in Our Favorite Place

We loved our stay in this property and would book again in a heartbeat! This is our favorite location (close to beach access, favorite restaurants, bike riding areas, and the park). The hosts were so easy to work with and the condo included lots of things to make our stay even easier (soap at all sinks, well equipped kitchen to include Tupperware, beach wagon and chairs, and comfy beds. Just the right amount of space for our family of 4 (including 2 teen boys!) to spread out and relax.

Another Great Vacation

Had a wonderful stay, wish we were still there

Awesome condo and great location. Mostly shaded 10 min walk to the beach & everything Coligny has to offer. Nice break from the sun in the pool right around the corner that was mostly shaded after 5pm. Showers were tight, but exactly as pictured. Would and may stay here again.

We love this condo!

The condo is in the best part of town - close to Coligny and the beach. With our kids, we are able to ride our bikes to most of the places we want to go including the super nice park right down the road. The condo itself is spacious and suits our needs well. The owners are great and quick to reply with answers to any questions you may have. We just got back from our 3rd annual trip with friends and family and our 2nd year staying in this particular condo. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Location was fantastic! Unit amenities such as appliances, bed, sofa very good and comfortable. Not a complaint, but the kitchen utensils, tools need upgrade (e.g. can opener, potato masher, small sharp knife and kettle) other than that everything was perfect. Thank You Wendell and Ann for letting us stay in your unit.

Wonderful Experience

Properly was well kept and clean. It was a close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again. Property owners were responsive and even offered suggestions about local restaurants to try and thongs to do. Very helpful.

Great Vacation Rental!

A space of tranquility

Apartment very clean and very desirable location

Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Condo was beautifully located a few minute walk from the beach. Condo was very clean, well stocked with cooking utensils, spices, so many add-ons. The wagon with umbrella and chairs was a real nice touch. We were able to leave our items at home. We would definitely stay there again

Location

This property is in a great location and very clean. We were able to walk or ride bikes to many restaurants and shops. I love that beach chairs were provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Short getaway

I visit Hilton Head several times a year to visit with my adult son, who lives there. In the past couple of years, I have tried different types of accommodations and have found the VRBO option best and most affordable. This property was wonderful! It felt homey and was very relaxing. All of the main attractions of Hilton Head were within steps of this property which made it convenient (and I didn't have to drive!). My teenage son and adult son were able to spend significant time with each other, which was a delight to witness. Wendell and Ann were amazing! Direct communication and answered any questions I had. Lovely hosts!

Great location!

A perfect spot to enjoy all HHI has to offer! Walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to text and email messages. I would certainly book this rental again!

Coligny Beach Condo

Condo is located on a corner second floor unit quiet community complex overlooking a pond, which is a home for alligators thus wildlife view is guaranteed. Main level has living room, dinning room, kitchen, a balcony and a powder room. Kitchen is fully equipped to allow home cooked meals. It also includes a Keurig machine, which we did not use. The refrigerator has water and ice dispenser, which helps on having to purchase water bottles. A small closet under stairs has all beach gear needed for fun under the sun. I personally enjoyed the Tommy Bahama chair and a big umbrella as well as the wagon to transport beach gear along with personal items such as towels and additional equipment we brought with us. Upper floor has 2 bedrooms with ceiling fans and TVs with their respective bathrooms. One room has 2 twin beds and the other a queen size bed. The space is spacious for a comfortable restful time. A stacked washer and dryer are located on the upper floor. We appreciated the started packets for dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and a couple water bottles. Great quality bath towels (2 sets per person) and linens were provided. AC worked great. Water pressure is perfect when all using showers and sinks. We had a great time in HHI and can’t wait to be back!

Great location, like the comfort of home

This was a very nice condo that was an easy walk to the beach. The owner's also have a beach wagon, chairs, beach umbrella & some sand toys available at the condo for use. The wagon made all the difference for my friend & I. We each had a room & our own bathroom plus the 1/2 bath downstairs. The kitchen had what we needed plus a few extras that previous renters had left behind (we assume) plus whatever the owner's supplied. We would definitely stay again!!

Great spot!

We loved everything about this place. Perfect location near everything! Short walk to the beach & Coligny plaza. The owner provided everything we needed & then some! The decor is beautiful & cozy. We felt so comfortable that it was tough to get my family up and moving! Our vacation went way too fast & was sad to leave. We plan to return again & again!

Tanglewood Villa is perfect for us because it is steps away from the beach and close to many stores for shopping and a variety of delicious restaurants when we don't feel like cooking or driving. One of our favorite things is riding bikes on the beach early and late in the day. The width of the sand on the beach is perfect for those rides. Hilton Head Island has all the amenities for family vacations - beach, pristine golf courses, wildlife refuge, walking trails, horseback riding and miniature golf. It is also a great place for a couples get away.
