Our beach house has a 1st floor suite with galley kitchen, king bed, sitting area and 3/4 bath. The main living area has 3 bedrooms, full bath, stainless kitchen with dish washer, garbage disposal, refrig with ice maker. Both Kitchens have Keurig Coffee Makers, microwaves and toasters, and blender. Carpeted garage is a great kids space with bunk beds & 2 twin trundle bed. Flatscreen TVs and Wifi are in both living spaces. Outside shower, Weber gas grille, outdoor speakers, private landscaped back yard and 1 acre low tide private beach makes our Harborside location very quiet and peaceful for the best vacation possible. The breaking waves of the Atlantic and Wells Beach are only 300 feet away. Kayaks are also available for the week ( with a signed waiver) and just steps from the back yard to drifting out onto the picturesque marsh side of Wells Beach. Unobstructed sunsets and cool breezes make our property stand out from others along this beach.

Wells Beach has always been one of my favorite places to be. The cottage was perfect. It had everything you would possibly need. Walk over to the beach was so quick and easy. The back yard view was fantastic! The sunsets were gorgeous and it was so peaceful. Loved taking kayaks out too! I would say we had an excellent vacation!!!!

Beach Week

My family had a wonderful stay at this house in Wells. The location was perfect for beach days and sunset marsh views. The house layout was perfect for our group with 3 adults and 2 children. Would recommend for a family beach stay!

Excellent experience staying at this house. Owner is very responsive. Plenty of room - beautiful sunsets right from the back of the house & short walk to the beach. Would recommend for a relaxing week at the beach. Great to have kayaks as well. Owner was excellent to work with. Nice area.

Best of both worlds

We booked this property for a 3-generation family vacation. Upon arrival we were pleased that the backyard was the inlet and a short walk across the street was the beach. We got to enjoy sunrises at the beach and sunsets over the inlet. Beautiful. The cottage was super clean and cozy. All necessary appliances and amenities were available, good quality and trouble-free for our use. We loved the “in-law” suite on the first floor. It was perfect for the grandparents. The upstairs BRs were right next to each other and not what I would call private, but that didn’t bother us! The kayaks, beach chairs and games came in handy. We loved the backyard for daily gatherings. Communicating with the owner was pleasant and timely. We would not hesitate to rent again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great. The downstairs in-law apartment was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The upstairs 3 bedrooms were extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. The problem with the 3 bedrooms is that there is no privacy with the middle bedroom as you have to walk through that bedroom to get to the other 2 bedrooms. The house is noisy as the noise Carrie’s from one bedroom to the other 2 upstairs bedrooms. It was extremely nice to have the washing machine and dryer. It was wonderful to have linens, hand soap, hand towels, paper towels, Toilet paper and aluminum foil to use. Both kitchens come well equipped with all of the kitchen things needed for the week. We loved the big living room- it was great to spend time together in the evening. The kayaks were very fun to use when the tide was “ in”. Ty for an enjoyable stay!

Perfect beach house

Our only complaint about this trip is the fact that the pictures don't really do the place justice. It's a lovely practical beach house abutting the estuary with the harbor tide right up to the back Everything was clean and well appointed. The bathrooms had great water pressure and the fixtures were clean and in great shape. The kitchen was modern and well appointed The suite downstairs is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the bay. 100 paces to the beach, 100 paces back. You can't beat it. One of the other nice things about this place is that it's not right up on top of it's neighbors, being set so close to the estuary, so you have a nice cushion of space between you and your neighbors. Which is great if you have a crying baby or kids who like to shriek like 12 year olds do. Anyway, great trip, great time. Thanks for everything!!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I always slip away to Maine for our anniversary in June. This was the perfect location to recharge. Cheryl is so friendly and the cottage is super clean and cozy. Beautiful Wells beach was invigorating and the marsh's sunsets did not disappoint. Thank you! J & C

Perfect home away from home

We have rented this house for two summers now and have had excellent stays both times. The house is a perfect home away from home, stocked with everything you need for a comfortable and fun beach vacation. Just add groceries! The back yard and personal access to the marsh and kayaking are key!

Wonderful Home!

Our family was there for a week. Fit 8 of us very comfortably. Amenities are great. Beds comfortable. Kitchens well applianced with all the gadgets you may need. Lots of windows for nice breezes. Definitely would recommend! The Brunelle's

Great sunsets and perfect cottage

We spent a wonderful week at this great cottage with a private beach out back and a 2 minutes walk to the Wells beach. We are a family of ten (6 adults and 4 children under 6) and have all greatly appreciate the place that was spotless and fully supplied with everything you need. We have particularly appreciate to eat outside under the sunsets and by the waves in the stairs. We hope to be there next year at the same time. Vacances mémorables!

Déjà 3 ans que nous avons la chance de louer cette coquette maison avec mes parents, mon mari et mes deux jeunes enfants. L'emplacement est parfait! Dans la cour, il y a une plage privée où les enfants peuvent s'amuser le temps que l'on prépare le BBQ ou que l'on admire les magnifiques couchers de soleil. Et de l'autre côté de la rue, c'est le bord de la mer, où il y a plusieurs espaces pour s'y installer, se baigner et profiter des vagues. La maison est parfaite pour nous et nous sommes très heureux d'avoir fait cette trouvaille.

Best sunsets ever!

Our family of four have spent a week at this great cottage for the past two years. We love Wells Beach, and this house is perfect. The location is great- with both marsh and beach options. The walk to the beach is short and the beach closest by has plenty of room for all. The house has all the amenities you need at the beach, including a great outdoor shower and patio area. Can't say enough good things!

Amazing Time!

My husband and I along with our 3 kids stayed in this cottage in June and it was fantastic! The kids loved being out back on the private beach, kayaking, shell hunting and I can't even describe the sunsets and they are right in the backyard! It is close driving distance to many fun adventures- we visited ogunquit, kennebunkport, Old Orchard Beach, and Portland. There are plenty of fun and delicious places to enjoy lobster near by. The house was spotless, kitchen is fully supplied with everything you will need(grocery store only 5 min away), and the linens were provided. Cheryl was a great host and only a phone call away to answer any questions that we had for her. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance! We are already planning our return trip!

Perfect sunsets!

We spent a wonderful and relaxing week here last summer. Being on the marsh side of Atlantic Ave. was heaven: gorgeous sunsets, a 2 min. walk to the beach, quiet away from the tourist bustle, easy kayak launch. Our hosts have taken great pride in creating a welcoming cottage that has everything you might need for a vacation. We will definitely be back for a return visit!

Relaxing family vacation

Kids loved the private beach out back and we could walk to and from the public beach throughout the day, close enough to go home to use bathroom. We rented to whole house and had tons of space for my family. Sleeping 8 with 2 bathrooms was great. House was spotless, we didn't need to bring linens which was a major plus!. Loved the open kitchen family room. We felt very safe. Stores and restaurants were a short drive.
