Lake living doesn't get any better than this! Hartwood Village #13 is a delightful 3 bedroom townhome located in the heart of Deep Creek Lake.

Stepping into your Great Room, you will fall in love with the large vaulted ceilings, the lustrous hardwood floors that flow throughout ad the impressive stone fireplace. Bright open skylights allow the sunshine to filter through but it is the floor to ceiling windows that open up to exquisite lake views that will truly capture your heart. Whether you are watching skiers glide down the mountain on the illuminated ski slopes at night or just enjoying our fall foliage, this is a view that will never cease to amaze! A fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops has everything you need to prepare your families favorite meals. Your main level also offers a half bath and a Primary Suite with a Queen sized bed.

Winding up the spiral staircase you will find your loft area, the perfect spot for an afternoon of board and card games. The other two bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and one with a duobunk are also on this level along with a full bath. Additional amenities to be enjoyed are the large flat screen TVs, High Speed & Wireless Internet, Air Conditioning, and provided towels and linens.

Lovely little on the lake cabin

We love the location, the view, and nice stocked up little 3 bedrooms well appointed for a small group of younger group. The spiral stairs to the second floor might be a challenge for older folks but there is one bedroom downstairs.

Lovely lake-side view!

Had a great time staying at this cabin. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Only thing is that we did not expect to have to bring hand soap and trash bags ourselves.

Great Location

Right across street from bar/club with DJ (Black Bear Tavern), and another Restaurant with decent food. Within 5 minute drive from Wisp, Mountain State Brewery, and groceries. Awesome view of lake. Fit 8 guys without a problem.

Nice but inflexible...

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, although the downstairs half-bath toilette was not working. However, we had an uncomfortable experience when we were not allowed to take a service dog to the house. I know the house said no pets and that it was privately owned (so the owner gets a last say in it), but this is a service dog. Our friend had to make last minute arrengements to find another place to stay, since it is impossible to travel without the dog. We rented the house through Taylor Made, which is a commercial rental place, so I could have not known that the house was privately owned. Moreover, no one at Taylor Made was able to give us a solution. Also although it can fit 9 people, it only has 3 rooms so, a bit of a strech in comfort. It was nicely located for skiing, not so much for enjoying the lake in the summer since it is so close to so many boat rentals I imagine it being very busy for swimming (but honestly have not been in the summer to the property).

Great Location, Not the best Condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this rental, however upon arriving we were informed that a "window" was in the midst of being replaced and there was plywood covering the construction. I didn't seem phased by it because I thought it was a small window/door. When we finally got there we realized it was the entire sliding glass door in the middle of the family room. What a huge letdown. Took away from the scenic views I originally booked the place for. On top of that there was construction material all over the outside deck and we couldn't enjoy the fluke of nice weather we had at our place. I understand these things can happen but I would have appreciated an offer to stay at a similar place nearby instead vs. the company's initial reimbursement offer of $75 on a $900+ vacation rental. The condo itself was beautiful and very accommodating for us and our 2 friends. The beds and family room futon were extremely uncomfortable and caused us back and neck pain every morning after sleeping on them. Overall the condo was nice for a short weekend but not recommended for a stay longer than 2 days.

There as an old blanket and some garbage under the love seat in the living room. Also saw a cockroach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Myself, along with my parents and toddler, loved staying here for a weekend getaway. The whole house is childproof except for the spiral staircase and the side exit from the deck - bring one baby gate with you and you'll be set. The online pictures don't show the bathrooms, but this place has 2.5 bathrooms including a very nice first floor shower. No tubs, so be ready to bathe babies in the kitchen sink. Taylor-Made is super organized and generous with linens. It was weird that the house only came with one soap pod for the dishwasher and no soap or shampoo for the bathrooms. Bring your own! Boat rental and the grocery store are both less than 5 minutes from the house.

Perfect for small family/group

The upper level worked GREAT for the kids it was their private area with TV, game and giggle area. The unit felt well appointed and upgraded. Our only complaint was the master bed(actual bed)mattress uncomfortable,and pillows fall through the headboard. LOVED THIS PLACE right on the water small playground in yard fair entry to shallow area of lake for play.
