Beautiful stay in Mellieha

Gorgeous apartment which had everything in it (and more) that we needed. Incredible views. Joe and Chris went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! This place is absolutely charming and we would recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic property.

Very well equipped apartment, much larger than expected. Great location. Excellent communication from Joe and Chris, the hosts, before and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to visit again next year.

Highly recommended

Beautiful apartment! It is very well appointed, spacious, and has a beautiful view. The location and privacy are perfect! Chris is a great manager, and Joe is a very accommodating owner. We stayed two months and felt truly at home! Highly recommended!

Stefan and Kay were polite and friendly guests, they stayed for two months with us. They looked after the apartment as if it was their own. The apartment was left very neat and tidy. Great Condo

We stayed in unit 442. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We ate all our dinners at the condo because the kitchen was very well equipped and had the space to easily prepare meals. The view, of Mellieha Bay, from our balcony was spectacular. Any concerns or questions we had were quickly answered by Charlene. We highly recommend this condo. Great stay!

A Memorable Vacation

We just left Malta this morning. I do not want to wait any longer to say that we had such a great time. The apartment is luxurious, the beds are supremely comfortable and I particularly liked the top of the line kitchen where I was able to cook gourmet meals to celebrate the Xmas week with my family. Phenomenal Location

Our rental for the week from Joe was a wonderful experience. From the moment we were picked up from the airport by Catherine, to meeting Lorna and speaking with Joe, we had nothing but great experiences. The flat was perfect for our family of six and a perfect location. In the evenings we enjoyed the view from our balcony and the kids enjoyed the pool immensely. The neighbours were kind and wonderful to speak with. The location was excellent in terms of restaurants, grocery shopping and reaching destinations. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking forward to returning in the near future to Joe’s flat. Thank you so much Joe!

Great Apartment with beautiful seaview

Joes apartment is very spacious and has a beautiful interieur. You will feel very welcome in his house because Joe and Lorna are always availabe for any question and advice. Inside you can find anything you need for a perfect stay, particularly the kitchen is very well equipped. Nothing is missing for a perfect holiday. The sea is always in sight and the balconys with its view ans sunshine are gorgeous. Its quiet in the night so that you can catch a good sleep. The Mellieha beach is reachable within 10 minutes on food. We are happy we stayed at Joes apartment and have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Anja and Alexander recently stayed in my apartment, and we had the pleasure of hosting them and their lovely family. From the very beginning, they proved to be exemplary guests. We were highly impressed by their courteous behaviour and excellent communication skills, which made coordinating with them a breeze. Anja and Alexander, along with their family, treated my apartment with great care and respect. Upon their departure, we found the place to be exceptionally clean and well-kept. Their thoughtfulness in maintaining the cleanliness of our property was genuinely appreciated. Lovely apartment

Joe’s apartment is spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. One of the best we have stayed in. The communication from Joe and his management company was excellent and we were sent a very comprehensive package of information regarding the apartment which covered everything we needed to know. The complex is well-maintained and secure. We organised our airport transfers through Joe and the taxi was prompt and a reasonable price. The online description of the apartment is accurate. I would only mention that if you go in the winter, as we did, there is not as much sun on the terraces as you might expect from the description due to the sun being lower in the sky at this time. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance and a mini market, the Luna, which catered for all our holiday needs. I would certainly recommend this apartment.

Tas Sellum Residence Appt 442

Stay Dates: 20-27 August 2019 The photos of the view from the balcony of this apartment do not do it justice. It is truly stunning. We spent many happy nights on the balcony eating and playing cards with our kids. The apartment is large, there were 5 of us staying there and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is amazing and there are two bathrooms so no queuing up is needed. The pool is a mildly salt water pool and is a good size. I’m 6ft and I could stand up in the deep end with my head above the water, so no diving in, I’m afraid! One of our party has restricted mobility issues but this was not a problem at all. The lift opens up pretty much directly to your main door so there’s no distance walking involved. As the lift only services the apartments in your block of about 9 or 10 apartments there’s no long wait for the lift like there is in a hotel. Joe, the owner keeps in constant contact if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

World Class accommodation

This apartment in Mellieha, Malta at Tas Sellum is first world luxury in a second world country. The kitchen is the most complete and best appointed of anywhere I have ever stayed. The three balconeys are a real plus as is the private underground parking. I do not recommend driving on this island as the roads are often ill marked, very narrow, and the locals drive with abandon, on the wrong side of the road. Plus, an automatic transmission is almost unavailable. Be prepared to walk a great deal as the restaurants and services are about 1 kilometer away. The furnishings and bedding is upscale and a modern washer/dryer is included. The property (Tas Sellum) is known by all the public transport systems, but a coach cannot get to the property and a nearly 1 mile walk is required to get to the coach pick-up points for tours. There are some very good restaurants like Blu Beach and Norra within walking distance. A starter breakfast is included for late arrivals. The local landlord contact (Lorna and Theresa) were available and gave prompt attention to any issues. I would highly recommend staying at this property, but our mid May stay was cold and wet and the pool and decks could not be used and we had to bundle up wherever we went.

Hi Larry, Thank you for taking the time to write up a review, we really appreciate it as we use the feedback to continue to improve our services. I would like to clarify some points. 1. Malta is a small island and the roads do not compare to the highways that are found in the United States or Europe. However, it is part of the charm of the island, given that the traffic does get frustrating even for us Maltese. 2. Ref. Car automatic transmissions, I can assure you that a lot of Maltese drive around in cars with automatic transmissions nowadays. We offer car rental assistance at no extra charge with a company that can provide cars fitted with automatic transmissions. 3. Lorna informed me that some roadworks was in progress during your stay, so this may have altered the rendezvous location for the coach. Otherwise, the walk to the main road is only 500m. The Luna Hotel is normally a rendezvous point for tour coach pickups. Thank you again for the kind remarks regarding my apartment and the service that both Lorna and Theresa provided. We aim to provide high quality service. However, I am still working on the weather. We would love to host you and your lovely group again should you decide to visit Malta again in the future. At least now you are somewhat acquainted with the friendly and charming Maltese Islands and its people. Best regards Joe

Pasamos una semana en familia en este magnífico apartamento. A nuestra llegada, a las 9 de la noche nos estaba esperando Chris, que amablemente nos enseñó todo. Habían tenido en cuenta nuestra llegada tardía y nos dejaron leche, huevos y algunas cosas para poder comer y desayunar al día siguiente. Hay un pequeño supermercado a unos 200m.El apartamento es más grande de lo que muestran las fotos, todas las estancias son muy amplias, y todo estaba super limpio. La piscina es muy grande y tranquila, muchas veces vacía, o con muy poca gente.También tiene un garage enorme, donde caben hasta 4 coches.Las vistas sobre el mar son muy bonitas, con muchos barcos amarrados.No quiero olvidarme tampoco del propietario, Joe, super amable, y atento. Nos recomendó a Frank's Auto Rental para el alquiler de coche y traslados desde y al aeropuerto y todo fue genial. Recomendamos 100%

location parfaite pour découvrir Malte

Notre séjour à Malte ( 6 adultes ne parlant pas anglais ) a été grandement facilité par les bons conseils de Jo le propriétaire de ce très bel appartement où rien ne manque :la superbe vue depuis les balcons ,de grands espaces de vie ,une cuisine super équipée et la très agréable piscine. Depuis le temps que nous voyageons, je n'ai jamais rencontré un propriétaire aussi disponible que Jo; de notre arrivée à l'aéroport jusqu'à notre départ Jo a tout organisé; bravo et encore un grand merci .

Thank you for your honest feedback. We appreciate you choosing my apartment for your stay. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulties with the drain in the ensuite. We wish you had informed us about this issue during your stay, so we could have fixed it right away. We always strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. Post your stay and during the preparation for the next guest, the cleaner confirmed that the water drain was slow. She checked the drain and found that it was clogged with some hair and debris. We have cleared the blockage and made sure that the water flows smoothly. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit Meerblick

Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Sie ist sehr geräumig, hell und sauber. Sehr praktisch ist auch der Tiefgaragenstellplatz mit direktem Fahrstuhl vor die Wohnungstür. Von der Wohnung läuft man ca. 10 Minuten bis zum Strand und 20 Minuten bis in den alten Ortskern, der etwas höher liegt. Insgesamt hat uns die Wohnung sehr gefallen.

What an amazing stay

We were greeted at the property and shown the property. Wonderful location close to everything we wanted to do within walking distance, or a short 10 min walk to the bus stop with regular busses. All of which is provided in the welcome folder given by the landlord. One thing that caught us off guard was having to pay for electricity, but understood. However the apartment got so hot throughout the day that we blew through the initial installment of power within the first few days. Suggestion to the owner to install black out curtains in the living room and kitchen to make it more energy effective. overall we had a wonderful time with our family of 5 and would recommend a stay to our friends and family.

Thank you for your review. The house rules clearly mention that 100kWh (units) per week are provided. This is a means of keeping the rates competitive. The House Manual clearly mentions: o Depending on the guest respective consumption, additional units can be purchased online and paid for by credit card direct. I appreciate your understanding and certainly welcome your recommendation.
