Tranquil fully renovated spacious home a few steps from Barton Meadow

Gorgeous 3 bedroom 2 bath Cabin . The Blue Barn is centrally located, walking distance to restaurants trails and much more. It is approximately a 5 minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort and the nearest beach. It is also steps away from Upper Truckee Marsh and Barton Meadow, hiking and bike trails. The Blue Barn has all the amenities of a home with the cozy feel of a cabin. It was tastefully renovated in 2014. Gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops and cherry cabinets opening up to airy living room surrounded by windows. The gas fire place adds charm and coziness to cold nights. You will enjoy 1,536 square feet of comfort. The Blue barn accommodates up to 4 people (children and infants included). One bedroom, one bath with bathtub downstairs and two bedrooms, one bath upstairs. The Living room has a 55 inch flat screen. We provide Hulu, Roku, and high speed internet. Laundry room is downstairs with full washer and dryer. One dedicated parking space, MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 4. We have outside monitoring cameras for perimeter of the house.
We have only one dedicated parking space.

Beautiful house in a great location

Stayed in this house for a ski trip in Lake Tahoe. Close to Heavenly and a good mid point between northstar and kirkwood. Accommodations were perfect for a long term stay with plenty of room to work from home and relax. Host was very nice and always responsive

annual trip to heavenly

We come to south lake tahoe every winter for our family ski trip. The blue barn was amazing. My husband and I along with our 15 and 12 year old kids just loved everything about the blue barn. With many rentals, the kitchen amenities are slim, but the blue barn exceeded our expectations with its kitchen. With past experiences, We came prepared with our own kitchen knife, spatulas, etc only to find everything single tool you need already supplied and great quality. Patricia was amazing and responds quickly to texts and checks in when needed. Everything you need is provided, coffee, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, whatever you need its there! The location was awesome as well, corner property with its own parking right in front of the front door! We hope to make the blue barn our annual rental, summer and winter! Thanks Patricia.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

We loved staying in the Blue Barn. Everything was just as pictured. Very clean, and very easy check-in process. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

Property was very clean and tidy. The owner is very responsive-in fact proactive in communicating if we needed anything. We enjoyed ourselves very much and the price was just right Only issue is it was a bit hot in the home and we needed to use the extra stored fans.

Wonderful vacation

The blue barn was a wonderful tahoe getaway. It’s a lot of space, with a nice mountain feel. I love the wood in the cabinets, floors and carved bears. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Home

The home is conveniently located in the heart of S Lake Tahoe. It has been recently remodeled and everyone enjoyed their stay. When it snows, the community looks like a Thomas Kincade picture.

Roomy and well stocked, great for a weekend Tahoe getaway

The house is easy to reach and close to Heavenly and other top spots in South Lake. House is quite big for 4 people, with towels, kitchen items etc well stocked. Easy to use TV, DVD player and more for nice stay with kids. Patricia communicated well and often to check in and make sure you had everything you needed. Not fancy or modern but everything you need for a comfortable ski weekend getaway.

This is a great house for our family of 4, close to the Y and Stateline. Quiet, cozy--but plenty of space, nicely remodeled, well-equipped kitchen. We have stayed in summer and winter and recommend this house for both seasons. And the owner is a sweetheart. Thanks for another great stay!

Awesome Home, great location!

The blue barn was perfect! Newly refurbished with up to date appliances and decor, yet so cozy and warm. This is a perfect location for walking or biking, several trails nearby. We loved our stay and wonderful family time! Thank you!

Clean, cool, and great location.

First, the experience with the owner, Patricia, was lovely. She was easy to contact, positive, helpful, and obviously takes great care of her home. I had no doubt that if we had needed anything, she would have responded immediately. Fortunately, the Blue Barn was in tip-top shape. I have rented various vacation homes over the years through both VRBO and AirBnB. The Blue Barn was the cleanest home of all. Lovely and huge upstairs master bedroom. Comfortable and charming twin bedroom. And a third bedroom downstairs that we did not use. The bathrooms were also in terrific condition with super showers and even those nice paper “sanitized” strips on the toilet seat covers to let you know the cleaners are doing their job! The kitchen is spacious and modern with plenty of amenities such a blender, coffee maker, beautiful bowls, and a super clean and modern refrigerator. The furniture throughout the home is clean, up-dated, and comfortable. One of the best features, for those travelling in the summer months, is that all of the bedrooms and the main living area have efficient and quiet ceiling fans that do a terrific job of keeping things cool, even in the upper 80s hot Tahoe days. I noticed Patricia also has a box fan available in case temperatures soar as they sometimes do in the late summer. Overall, our experience was very positive, comfortable, and cool. Great location as well in a fairly quiet neighborhood located about halfway between the South shore of the lake and the “Y” shopping center. No traffic noise and close to restaurants, markets, and recreation areas. Thank you, Patricia, for maintaining a beautiful and comfortable home to share with fortunate South Lake Tahoe visitors. A great and positive experience!

Great place in Tahoe!

This was a perfect sized house to stay with our family of 4. Patricia is very responsive, the place is clean, comfy and well maintained and is in a great location in South Lake. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our summer vacation. We'll be renting again over the winter!

Tahoe's best VRBO

As soon as we walked in the front door, my wife said "I love it" This home was perfect for our family summer get-away. We really appreciated the fast and courteous customer care we received from the moment we booked the home. Patricia was awesome. The location was excellent, very quiet, peaceful area and only a short 4 to 5 minutes to the lake. This home was totally updated/remodeled (nicely I might add), which is not the norm for South Lake Tahoe, for some reason most VRBO homes in Tahoe are still appointed with fixtures from the 60's and 70's. If this place is still available during your search, book it!

Beautiful cabin in a great location!

This cabin was a great choice! Very spacious, super clean, renovated throughout and tastefully decorated. Its location is very convenient, close enough to the Village, shops and restaurants but still in a residential neighborhood, in a very quiet cul-de-sac. The owner was very responsive, provided very detailed info about the cabin's amenities and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Our family of 4 had a great stay and we certainly recommend it!

One of the best VRBOs we've stayed at

This place is huge and quite modern. It has everything you could possibly need. The bed was quite comfortable as well. Spotless and super clean. I would recommend this place to anyone, and plan on staying here again next time we're in Tahoe.

Perfect location

Right between the marina and state line and there's a 711 right off the main cross streets so perfect spot for last minute supplies. Patricia is very patient and accommodating. We got here with almost no sleep so we were all bass ackwards trying to get in and settled but she walked us right through it. Would love to stay here again.
