VILLA JAZMIN SLEEPS 6, 2 BEDROOM 2 BATHROOM FOR 2-6 PERSONS .THIS VILLA HAS A PRIVATE POOL
The villa is located in village Mariou which is situated in Rethymno, on the south side of the island. Conveniently placed approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes drive from Chania and Heraklion airports.Car is essential for this villa which is simply accessible beside a tarmacked road.However, walking can be permitted in other journeys for example to the small local shop selling everyday food items. Also, there is a traditional Greek Taverna Mariou which is a renowned 5 star restaurant adjacent to the village,which is about a 5-10 minute walk ,but can not be seen or heard from the villa.
This villa has two floors ,with a large private pool and 2 balconies both obtaining sea, mountain and valley views.It has 2 bedrooms;bedroom one has a double bed with ensuite and bedroom two has 2 double beds each ventilated with air conditioning also ceiling fans, wardrobes for clothing space.In the upstairs sectors of this courteous villa it has a open plan living area(TV&stereo), dining room and kitchen area which is very suitable and equipped.
The villa was completed in 2016 so is new, initiative and modern design to this market but blends in with the Mediterranean culture of Crete represented in the outside stone work.

From the villa the town Plakias 4km in distance has a continuous beach(lounges&showers) complimenting the abundance of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacy.This beach also has an array of boats which promote excursions daily.
Damnoni beach 5km from the villa which is a well structured beach with umbrellas, sun beds and showers.Great place to take on the thrill of water sports e.g. sailing ,windsurfing, scuba driving,water-skiing and lots more.A wonderful selection of traditional restaurants are located here with lovely views of the sea .
Souda beach which is 4.9km away is ideal for fishing and snorkelling due to the protection giving it calmness for clearer waters.
Preveil beach, river lagoon and palm forest. One of the most famous beaches in Crete you can journey to it by car and hiking from the dirt road over the mountain or the preferred way take a boat from Plakias. There are also buses to the Preveil Monastery. Bike hire, Jeep hire and walking hiking tours are all available independently or as part of a organised tour that can be arranged in Plakias tourist information centre

Amazing stay

The villa was perfect. The added bonus of an En-suite to the main bedroom. Large pool are. Large veranda with views to the sea and mountains behind. Very good locations for the local beaches and towns. Great communication with the owner. Cannot recommend highly enough. Hope to come back soon.
Miss the view. It was so lovely to wake up to this every day!

Amazing villa - awesome views!

This villa was the best we have stayed in so far!Spacious, clean, bright, modern, private, quiet and with everything you could need for 1/2 weeks holiday. The layout of the villa was perfect, open plan living space upstairs and bedrooms downstairs keeping it cool during the midday heat. Outside was beautifully landscaped and the pool area had been recently renovated to perfection.The views from the huge terrace down to the sea were magnificent!The owner, Nicole was a pleasure to deal with and sent a wealth of communication prior to arrival.We were also contacted by a local lady Sylvia who takes care of the villa who even went to the trouble of putting on the lights so we didn't arrive in the dark, checking on us when it got very windy and letting us know about a local event.I would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful break in a traditional Greek village but still only 5 mins drive from the beach.

Wir sind kurzfristig ins neue Nebenhaus eingezogen, das es im gebuchten Objekt noch Poolarbeiten gab. Vielen Dank, liebe Nicole, dass das so unkompliziert geklappt hat. Ebenfalls ein sehr schönes und bestens ausgestattetes Haus . Wir würden jederzeit wieder Urlaub in Mariou buchen. Es eine wilde und ursprüngliche Landschaft, noch weit weg vom Massentourismus wie im Norden. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer und die Berge.

Toller Urlaub, herrliche Aussicht auf Meer und Berge

Sehr sauberes Haus. sehr großer Pool der top sauber war und täglich gereinigt wurde. Nach 1. Woche wurde das Haus komplett gereinigt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Es gibt kleinere Ausstattungsmängel (wenig Besteck, knarrende Türen), die durch positive Dinge wie Super Wlan für drei Geräte gleichzeitig, Spül- und Waschmaschinentabs. Essig, Öl, Salz, Zucker, eine tolle Espressomschine sowie zur Begrüßung Eier, Milch, Espressopulver und div. Tees mehr als ausgeglichen wurden. Die englische Vermieterin Nicole war schon bei der Planung und während des Aufenthalts sehr nett und hilfreich (Anfahrt, Handynummer Arzt und anderes mehr) und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben den Urlub und auch das abendliche Poolbillardspielen sehr genossen.

Schöne Villa mit tollem Ausblick bis zum Meer. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer. Nicole war wirklich toll und bei allen Anliegen sofort hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb aber schön ruhig und mit Blick aufs Meer. Auto ist aber schon erforderlich. Preisleistung perfekt. Wir haben sehr wohl gefühlt.

Another fantastic stay at Villa Jazmin

Excellent stay again at Villa Jazmin. Everything was perfect from arrival to leaving. Nicole kept in touch regarding towels and recommendations. Just a fantastic villa in a great location, a few km outside Plakias. Trips to Rethymno in 35 mins which we did a few times. Great places to eat nearby. Pool was great in 35 deg heat and Pedro was great as usual. Thanks Nicole for another great holiday. 👍

Wir haben uns in der Villa sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Zimmer im Untergeschoss sind klimatisiert. Die Klimaanlage im Obergeschoss haben wir kaum benutzt, da sich das Leben im wesentlichen auf der großen Terrasse mit Meerblick abgespielt hat. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht: Großer Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine, eine Bluetooth Anlage, Billardtisch, Tischtennis, Räder und kleinere Fitnessgeräte. Das Haus hat eine zweckmäßige Einrichtung und war sauber und sehr aufgeräumt als wir eingezogen sind. Der Pool wurde täglich durch einen sehr freundlichen Hausmeister gereinigt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war schnell und unkompliziert.

Vorzeitige Abreise

Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa Jazmin gebucht. Wir sind nach zwei Tagen wieder abgereist und haben eine neue Villa bezogen. Als wir ankamen, war der Pool sehr dreckig. Das wurde aber zügig behoben. Die Villa selbst nicht sehr liebevoll eingerichtet oder gepflegt. - Haare in den Betten - Schranktüren im Schlafzimmer kommen einem beim Öffnen entgegen - die Badezimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen - die Duschschriebetür sprang aus der Führung - die Verkleidung vom Rolladengurt fällt bei Benutzung ab - viele tote Spinnen an den Wänden - muffiger Geruch in der unteren Etage - die Klimaanlage im oberen Bereich reicht nicht aus um dem Raum zu kühlen - Haare an der Staubsaugerbürste - der Bügelbrettbezug war sehr fleckig - in kurzen Abständen ist es nicht möglich die Toilettenspülung zu betätigen, da das Wasser nicht nachläuft

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Blick

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Bei schlechterem Wetter kann man seine Zeit mit Billard oder Tischtennis vertreiben. Das Haus ist sehr offen gestaltet, so dass man überall die tolle Aussicht genießen kann. Der Pool ist sauber und wird regelmäßig gewartet. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist schnell und unkompliziert, da wir sehr spät ankamen, wurde sogar für uns eingekauft. Draußen gibt es eine sehr schöne Terrasse, auf der man den Blick bis zum Meer genießen kann und überall gibt es Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Ich kann diese Villa nur von ganzem Herzen empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Amazing views, relaxing stay!

This is a great villa. Clean, comfortable, modern and airy. We didn't even need to use the air-con as the breeze kept the villa cool. Such beautiful views from the huge terrace... we enjoyed star gazing at night. We didn't want to leave! It's a good sized villa and we enjoyed the pool too. The area is quiet and peaceful but you are only a few minutes walk away from an excellent taverna and only 10 mins drive from two lovely beaches. We enjoyed exploring the South of Crete, having stayed in the North a previous time. We drove to Matala, got a boat to Preveli beach, and visited Damnini and Plakias beaches. Plakias has lots of nice shops and restaurants. Got some lovely ceramic bowls from the town up from Mariou too. Great help and communication from Nicole. I would love to return! Thank you.

Perfection

Jazmin Villa provided our family with a perfect Greek experience. Firstly, I want to express our sincere thanks to Nicole, the property owner - who was extremely generous, quick to respond, and patient with the ever changing landscape with Covid. Our booking was made before this horrible pandemic struck, yet Nicole was excellent with all aspects of our booking. We feel so very lucky to have been able to experience this villa and the area, given the problems across the world. Jazmin Villa provided us with exceptional homely comfort, with world class views across the Libyan Sea. Split over three levels, the lounge, diner and breakfast area gave us views across the whole bay. Everything was accounted for and the coffee machine was a god send :) Two bedrooms on the second level were air conditioned and very comfortable to sleep in, especially with 36 Deg heat! Each room had doors which opened on to the second level balcony and garden. The gym and playroom was brilliant. Not that we used the gym much :) The lower level was a fantastic pool, with plenty of loungers to relax to the chime of Caceda’s. Plakias is a wonderful small village with plenty of restaurants and shops. Restaurants provided a view across the sea. Wonderful. Recommendations, provided by Nicole were perfect. Plenty of beaches around to visit. In summary, I cannot rate Jazmin Villa, Nicole, and Plakias high enough. It was one of our most enjoyable holidays ever, despite all the issues with Covid. Massive thanks to Nicole for letting our family experience her villa and the area. I’m sure we will be back!

Erholung PUR!

Schon mit dem Aufschliessen der Haustür hat unser Urlaub begonnen. Das Haus ist mega schön und modern. Die Aussicht ist rundherum phänomenal! Absolut ruhige Lage. Unser Kontakt mit Nicole war sehr herzlich und sehr nett, wie auch immer mit Pedro. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt total genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus nahe Plakias

Die Lage ist optimal mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias, viele schöne Strände sind nach kurzer Fahrzeit erreichbar. Die Taverna Mariou vor Ort ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Die Villa war sehr sauber und grosszügig - modern eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Nicole war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Fazit : Kreta im Oktober und die Villa Jazmin sind sehr zu empfehlen!.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at the beautiful Villa Jazmin. The scenery is amazing, the villa is very comfortable and well equipped for a family. The host was fantastic and communication was excellent. Nicole really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

My name is Nicole ,I live in Ealing West London with my three daughters and my husband.
In my younger days I lived and worked on the island so am very familiar with Crete. it had always been a dream of mine to buy land and build a holiday Villa there, I chose the south side of the island as it was full of natural beauty and lots of things to do. It is also preferred side of the island for the Greeks as you are surrounded by natural beauty.

Very private villa where you can enjoy relaxing on the large private terraces enjoy long alfresco dining, or relaxing on the large deck around the pool.
Or venture out to one of the many family run restaurants offering Mezzo's or full lunch.If your feeling sporty their are a wide range of water sports from water skiing, sailing, kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. For the land lovers Bike riding, Hiking, jeep/car scarify can be organised as a Group tour from information centre in Plakias.Not forgetting Water parks located Chania.
Crete is The birthplace of the king of the Olympian gods, Crete is a Mediterranean jewel. It's rich with archaeological and mythological history that's reflected in its ancient ruins, culture, and charming atmosphere. Soak up the atmosphere of the fortresses and monasteries of Rethymno. The awesome Minoan ruins of Malia date to 1900 BC, and majestic Mt. Ida is said to be home to the cave where Zeus was born. Rethymno is one of the most well preserved Venetian old towns of the island of Crete. Its 16th Century buildings are stunning examples of ancient architecture, and the monolithic Fortezza reflects both European and Moorish influences. Explore the magical waterfalls , rock formulations and cave church of Saint Anthony Gorge before taking a pleasant evening stroll along the colourful Venetian Harbour. Relax in a tavern over a plate of Cretan meze, like fresh feta drizzled with local olive oil.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

As a family we enjoy driving to the beach walking from bay to bay and stopping when you fancy for a cold drink at one of the taverns which are usually family owned and always warmly welcome you and especially welcome children. We also love to drive over to the north side of the island to Rethymno town which only take 30 minutes by car, where here is a bit more night life.
