Recently remodeled, this bright and welcoming second‑floor condo features 1 bedroom plus a mezzanine bedroom and 2 full baths. With west‑facing ocean views, you’ll enjoy nightly sunsets, seasonal whale watching right from your lanai, and the ocean just steps away for snorkeling with turtles. The downstairs bedroom includes twin beds (convertible to a king) and an A/C unit, while the mezzanine bedroom offers a queen bed and a spacious attached bath.

Beautifully decorated and fully equipped, this unit has everything you need for a relaxing stay—updated finishes, a well‑stocked kitchen, and comfortable furnishings that make it feel like your Maui home away from home.

Honokeana Cove is a private, gated 38‑unit oceanfront community surrounding a peaceful cove with stunning views of Molokai. Our stay was great. The place was really clean, comfortable and just right for me and my 2 teenage boys to stay. The management people were really friendly and communicated well. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. The location is wonderful. The property is immaculately maintained and the unit was very, very clean. The a/c unit is only in the rear room so during the afternoon, the upstairs loft can get quite warm but they provide many fans which helps significantly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and hope to bring back more family when we do. Thank you!!

Great location and stunning view

We love the condo. You can sit on the line and see the sea turtles swimming out in the bay. The tiki torches at night had a great ambience.

Beautiful location but very warm on summer days

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location itself is absolutely breathtaking and having access to swim in the cove is pretty special. Our family called it the "Turtle Hotel." The big weakness to the vacation rental is that it is warm. They do have a small ac unit for the bedroom on the first floor, but the area at the loft or the place itself is really hot and there was no breeze as we had hoped. We did use the fans but, it was not satisfying. The place did not offer enough amenities. Maybe it was because we couldn't help comparing with a beachfront rental in the South that offered AC and amenities like free laundry/dryer in the unit, beach amenities, plus spices/cooking ingredients and even small gifts- all at a fraction of the price of this rental. We would love to try a different unit in the future at Honokeana Cove Rental that does offer AC. It seems there are some units.

Lovely location

Great low key stay with beautiful view. The space worked well for our family with the teens in the bedroom with the two twin beds and us in the loft. Cove access is on the property and requires navigating over smooth stones. We saw many turtles during our stay.

Stunning location

We loved our stay. The snorkeling was so easy and felt so safe within the cove. in addition to turtles, fish and eels, I saw my first octopus! I can't recommend this property enough! Property is well maintained with a gorgeous garden. Many plants are labeled! Their commitment to the environment is real. They installed a filtered water station and 85% solar energy! Staff were so kind and helpful!

It’s not a loud party place so if that’s what your looking for this might not be for you. The location was superb for walk out snorkeling and the bay was rich in marine life. We stayed for 11 days and loved every moment. We had a second floor condo which was spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much that we mostly stayed right on the premises. The snorkeling was fabulous right in front, turtles abound! Our unit was so comfortable. Su and her team were great. We couldn't have imagined a better, more relaxing stay. We definitely will return soon!

A little piece of paradise!

We came in Sept last year as well as May 2022 and booked our next trip on the spot! Its the perfect place for relaxation with turtles and so many fish varieties every time you step into the cove. The property gardens are immaculate, management caring and attentive and our apartment was well equipped. Only thing missing was AC so the place was a little hot late afternoon, but its easy to air and fans are available.

Cove amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the cove and it’s the only place we stay on Maui. This specific unit is not one we would rent again. We had 2 separate units this trip and 216 was not our favorite. Although we understand that some units (most actually) have no AC this one was rough with direct sunlight and little winds. One of the fans provided didn’t work. This unit could also use some updating and was not very well equipped. It’s the first unit we have stayed in at the cove that had no beach equipment of any kind, no chairs ...nothing. We would not rent this unit again but will always stay at the cove.

We had a large group of family members (16) who every night sat on the grass area and watched the sunset together. It was so peaceful and pleasant. Our only knock was the general condition of the unit we stayed in compared to the other three units our family members stayed in.
