Beautiful and spacious beach house in exclusive neighborhood- steps from beach.

Escape the chaos of Pirates Beach for it's grown up neighbor to the west. Pirates Beach West is a beautiful, luxury neighborhood with large homes and wide open areas. This gorgeous home is situated right in the middle of the neighborhood on a cul-de-sac which provides a quiet, comfortable retreat. Feel great about leaving kids to play in the yard or even the whole neighborhood in this close knit community.
Large expansive windows on the main room offer exceptional views bringing the outdoors in. Recent updates are an astounding improvement with brand new quartz countertops, Pergo flooring, all new bathroom surfaces and fresh paint. The amenities provided are everything you would want for a delightful stay in Galveston. Only a short walk to the expansive beach where you'll find few neighbors and plenty of room for your tent.
Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms upstairs. The master is on the front of the house and has it's own private deck with lounge chairs. On the back of the house is an additional bedroom with 2 twin beds. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and a large closet. The 4th bedroom has 3 bunk beds and sleeps 6.
Both baths are large with the upstairs featuring a walk in shower and whirlpool tub. The downstairs has a walk-in shower/bath.
The kitchen is large with an island in the middle, extensive counter top space, large stainless steel refrigerator and sink, and all the important amenities such as a coffee maker with K-cup feature, blender and extensive pots and pans and plenty of quality cutlery and dishes for you stay.
The main living room has lots of comfortable seating and a large TV and Bluetooth Stereo to wirelessly play your own music.
Outside you will find wide decks with multiple seating areas including a porch swing, Trex love seat, chairs and 2 lounges for sunbathing. The rectangular table seats 6 for delightful outdoor dining under the stars.
AND NEW IN 2025 another MASTER BATH. So Two Masters!!!
AND NEW FOR 2022- PICKLEBALL. We have a court on the driveway and net, paddles and balls for you to enjoy!
The backyard features a built in volleyball net in a large backyard. An outdoor shower is the perfect way to clean up after a day at the beach.

Family vacation

This was our second time staying at this beach house. We had a great time. Would definitely stay there again in the future. Did have a few problems with tiny ants on the kitchen counters, but didn't see any in other parts of the house.

Beautiful Get-Away

The House accommodates a large family with tons of space and things to do. I wish we could have more days and better weather for outdoor fun. The kitchen and dining/family room are where we spend most of our time cooking and playing games. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice & clean. Overall a great stay, recommend it for sure! FYI, cars are not able to access that part of the beach by the house.

Amazing neighborhood and perfect location

We love Galveston Island and prefer not to be too close to the business of the city. The house was perfect for my family of 6 and my dad and his wife. The location was a private little community. The walk to the beach was minutes and it's just people who are in that community so it's not crowded at all. The views from both decks still let's you see the ocean. And I needed to reach yothe host for a question and she got back to me first thing the next morning.

Great beach house

We love the Pirates Beach West neighborhood. This house was perfect for our stay with 7 people ages 14 to 51. No problems with the house and the owner was very responsive when I contacted him with a question. His garage had some great beach supplies for our use. We had a wonderful week at this house.

Perfect Family Vacay

We had this 4 generation vacation planned for nearly a year and it did not disappoint. The house and neighborhood was even more than we expected. Roomy enough to spread out when we wanted to but with plenty of central gathering places. I love the huge kitchen and proximity to the beach, which allowed for all the "back-and-forth" that we wanted. The landlord is quick to respond and friendly. We would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful Neighborhood and very close walk to Beach. Owner provides plenty of beach supplies which is very handy with little ones. Owners are also very responsive and Thoughtful.

Pirates Beach West is the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning! Beautiful, well kept neighborhood, and the location of the house is wonderful. Have a view of the ocean and not too far to walk, even with very small children. Beach was not overly crowded. Dollar general across the street from the neighborhood is soooo convenient! Loved sitting on the upstairs deck to read my book and feel the sea breeze when needing an escape from the children. Enjoyed the swing on the lower deck also. Kitchen had good amount of counter space to store snacks for the kiddos. The house had everything we needed!

House was very nice and clean. Proximity to the beach was excellent. Keyless entry was very convenient. It could use an update on pots , pans, and grill (rust). Also need new barstools (unsafe). Overall, great stay!

Fun at the Beach

First- Location Location Location... very short walk to the beach. We loved how close it was. We enjoyed the deck, the porch swing, the wide open spaces on the main floor, and plenty of space for our party of 8. We had some minor things on checkin, but the owner responded quickly and gave us the information we needed. There were a few things we’d have like to have been in a little better condition, but nothing major. Everything we needed for a relaxing vacation was there to use. The kids especially enjoyed the gaming system on the main floor. The TV’s are newly updated with big screens for movie watching, and the dining areas had plenty of seating for everyone to share meals. Or come and snack as needed. The beach we had access to felt very private. We had it to ourselves most days, even though we came just after Memorial Day. There were other groups there, but lots of space to spread out in between. Overall we were happy with the stay and we would choose to stay here again.

House was perfect for our relaxing spring break 2021

We so enjoyed relaxing at this house. The house had plenty of room for our group - three adults, two teens. We were able to spread out inside the house and the nice wrap around deck. Rooms were nice and the bathroom and kitchen were just as you'd expect them to be. Communicating with the owner was perfect.

We are a family of 5 who have immensely enjoyed this house over the years- especially when our kids were younger. We would spend many weekends with family guests cooking great meals, drinking wine, listening to Kenny Chesney on the outdoor speakers, basketball in the driveway, walking the wagon the beach where we would spend countless hours fishing, boogie boarding, building sand castles (and mermaids) ... It was truly a magical time. Though our kids are older now we still enjoy many weekends of the year as a great place for just the two of us, the whole family or extended cousins.
The time has come, however, for us to give this opportunity to others to enjoy this house and this neighborhood.

While Galveston has a lot to offer with the Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, the Strand, what really makes a great vacation is quality time with family, good music, delicious meals, fun and informal activities. And this house is perfectly accommodating for this kind of time well spent. The outdoor deck furniture is the perfect place to lay out and get some sun or relax with a good book or have some quality time for the adults to visit while the kids play basketball in the front, games in the den or watch sports on the big TV.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Having enjoyed this house ourselves, everything you might need for a great vacation is there including an awesome stereo system with auxiliary adapter to play your own music and outdoor Bose speakers. A great Wifi system is installed. The 3rd floor deck is great retreat for the parents and a place for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

Please note: There is a single security camera that on the deck that views the driveway and front yard.
