Large, beautiful detached villa with private pool, garden and close sea views

This stunning villa is situated in an elevated position on a hillside overlooking the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea, the marina and the picturesque villages of Las Fuentes and Alcossebre. It is ideally located on the coast 1 hour drive North of Valencia and 2 hours South of Barcelona.

The accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large fully fitted kitchen and open plan lounge and dining room. There is a fabulous pool and paved terrace set in colourful landscaped gardens. These benefit from sun all day with some shaded areas. Pool furniture is provided.

You will enjoy the large covered terrace, leading through glazed patio doors from the lounge. This is ideal for alfresco dining and boasts beautiful views over the pool and out across the villages and marina to the sea. Upstairs an open terrace, leading again through double doors from the master suite, has breathtaking panoramic views of sea and the national park and benefits from the sun all day long.



Our villa with its own private pool near Alcossebre and Las Fuentes has something to offer for just about everyone. During the peak months the area is vibrant and exciting, or you can just relax in your own pool in relative peace and quiet. Out of season the area is slightly quieter but still with plenty to do and experience. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Alcossebre and Las Fuentes to suit all tastes.

In addition there are so many places of interest to see in the Costa del Azahar, or again you can just sit in one of the sea front bars enjoying Tapas and watch the world go by. There are many local shops in Alcossebre for the serious shopper, or just for browsing. Finally for the active, there are some wonderful walks, cycling and all manner of water sports.

Superb villa in a perfect location

We went several times in Spain for holidays and I can say this villa is absolutely wonderful, perfectly equiped, clean , modern and ideally located - 10 min walking from the sea and a gorgeous view onto the sea from the villa - the breakfasts were so nice. The pool is so nice also with lightning up to 12PM. I would also thank a lot Johan for his responsivness and kindness. I 'll keep this adress for the future.

Wonderful stay in beautiful house

We had a perfect holiday in this absolutely lovely house. The pictures on the Vrbo website do not to justice to the beauty of this house. It is spacious, very nicely decorated and furnished, very complete, situated in a nice area, and the view from the terraces is in one word fantastic. The garden with the pool is very, very nice. And the whole house is spotlessly clean. You can reach the beach by foot if you want to, and other beaches can be easily arranged by car at short distance. This beautiful house can not be recommended enough, we abolutely loved it!

Great house with a great view

We spent 2 weeks in summer 2022 in the house and enjoyed it very much. The house is very well equipped and is situated in an elevated area in the outskirts of Alcossebre. The offered 180 degree view to the sea are spectacular. We liked the covered outside area to spend the hot days there. The pool is well maintained and was heavily used by our family throughout our vacation. Kitchen and living room are fully equipped and we did not miss a thing. Since we already spent some vacations in Alcossebre, we knew, that we would need a car for reaching beaches or city center, so this was not a surprise for us. People that like to walk to the beach could reach the closest one, a handful of nice restaurants in 15 mins, city center is in 25 mins walking distance. We had a wonderful time in the house and will definitely come back. Thank you Johan for the great communication and support!

Vacances de rêve

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans la superbe villa de Johan. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire et avec l'agence sur place pour les clés. La maison est très bien équipée, la vue sur la mer est magnifique et la piscine parfaite ! Très jolies criques accessibles en quelques minutes en vélo (attention pour le retour, ça monte !!). Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

An exceptionnel rental

The villa is very functional, the heated pool is a plus and especially the huge terrace with sea views is beautiful. Everything works perfectly and this rental is highly recommended.

Understated elegance for a tranquil holiday

A beautiful villa in a tranquil setting. Equipped to a very high standard. The owner Johan has certainly covered all bases to ensure a perfect holiday. Lovely villa with stunning views

Lovely villa with everything you need for a great holiday. The terrace is really comfortable to sit in the shade with a lovely breeze and with panoramic views. We ate out in a number of restaurants in Alcossebre all were very good. Communication with Johan made it all very easy - Thank you! Hope to return one day.

Amazing Villa, amazing place and amazing weather

The villa was amazing, even better than the photos, if that is possible. The layout was perfect for our needs, we were a party of two couples and a child of 10. The property was spotless and very well maintained with all the facilities you could wish for. The kitchen having the best quality appliances and utensils. The views were breath taking over the town of Alcossebre and the coast. The pool was lovely, very clean and well maintained. The town and surrounding area was beautiful very Spanish, no high rise! There were many excellent restaurants and the seafront was great for early morning walks or runs to burn off those excess calories. Valencia is an easy drive for a day out and the oceanarium is well worth a visit. Peniscola is a hill top coastal town not to be missed, anyone who remembers the film El CID will recognise the view. The owner of the villa Johan Eriksson could not have been more helpful. Great customer service and excellent information provided on the villa and surrounding area. We would recommend this villa and area to friends and family and hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect, relaxing holiday in super villa

Marcolina 42 provided the perfect base for a family holiday of Grandparents, parents and twin toddlers. The villa was very clean when we arrived and superbly well stocked for a holiday home. Johan's communication prior to and during the stay was excellent and thorough. We found the area of Alcossebre/ Laz Fuentes the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with a family. The beaches were clean, safe and the sea warm. We visited nearby Peniscola which is well worth a visit, and the Tuesday night market on the seafront but, having small children, tended to stay near the villa most days. However, there was a water park about 30-40 mins away and many other interesting places to visit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would not rule out another visit in the future.

Marcolina 42, fantastic family holiday!

The villa is in a lovely area and is well equipped for a home from home experience. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The sun loungers and furniture are of good quality to make sitting around the pool or on the terrace comfortable. We received lots of information prior to our stay and Johan responded quickly to any queries we had and offered to supply high chairs etc if we needed them. We had a wonderful holiday and will certainly return to this area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. Thank you!

great property with fantastic views

The villa has great accommodation, particularly the master bedroom and the living areas and is situated in a quiet peaceful area of Alcossebre. The kitchen is well appointed and the pool is perfect for cooling down on a hot day. The views are fantastic and the outdoor balcony is ideal for dining/relaxing with a good book. The town is lovely with loads of restaurants to choose from, serving from authentic tapas to pizzas and great ice creams. The beaches were not crowded either so a great holiday all round! Would highly recommend.

Great villa and location

The villa is perfect for a family holiday. Both the inside and outside areas are decorated and furnished to a very high standard and the modern kitchen was very well equipped. The outside terrace area was great for dining during the day as you are protected from the sun, but also eating and relaxing during the evenings (views from the outside terraces are fantastic). The pool temperature was very warm and the pool room with toilet facilities and washing machine were ideal for a family with young children. Alcossebre itself is a very nice resort with great beaches and only one hour drive from Valencia. We also visited other towns including Peniscola and Morella, which I'd recommend. Overall we couldn't fault the property and Johan the owner was very easy to deal with and responsive.

A beautifully maintained villa in a great town

The villa is beautifully maintained with comfortable furniture, the outside furniture on the veranda and by the pool particularly being great for large numbers of people (6+). The master bedroom which is located on the top floor has its own balcony with stunning views over the sea, probably not many better places to wake up to each morning! The pool is a reasonable size but because it is kidney shaped was not ideal for any pool sports like volley ball etc., however it was very clean and refreshing for those long hot days. The wifi, television and games console all kept various members of the family entertained at different times of the holiday (and especially on the few days that it did rain). Alcossebre as a town is perfect for family holidays, it has some amazing (and blue flag level) beaches, water and beach sports, tapas bars along the coast and probably the best selection of restaurants and food we have eaten in the many years we have been coming to Spain. With the opening of the new Castellon airport this September (2015) the resort is even easier (and cheaper) to get to.

Really nice villa

Really nice villa and very well equipped. We had a great week here. The pool was a hit with the kids and Alcossebre has a good choice of restaurants. Water park 20 mins or so away is well worth a visit, kids got me on the big slide I said no chance to when we got there.

Luxurious villa. Beautiful location

My family and I spent just under a fortnight at this lovely villa. We were very impressed when we arrived as the view from the villa is spectacular . The accommodation is very comfortable and we particularly loved the huge balcony/terrace. The main bedroom on the top floor is fabulous with another huge balcony. The area is pretty and very spanish. We rarely heard any thing other than Spanish spoken . Beaches are great but a little too far to walk in my opinion especially in 30 degree heat . We visited some wonderful restaurants which we thought were reasonably priced. El Pinar , up the mountain road is definitely worth a visit as is El Patio and El Jardin . The pool is really lovely with comfortable garden furniture . This is great place for holidaying with younger and older children , very safe and very relaxing .

Highly recommended - a fantastic place to stay.

The villa has all the ingredients required for a memorable holiday. The location is ideal and the facilities are top notch. The master bedroom is fabulous and the views from the balcony are great - watching the moon come up over the sea with a glass of wine in hand is hard to beat. The kitchen is fitted to a high standard and the whole downstairs area lends itself well to indoor/outdoor living. The private pool is a real bonus and gives the place a real feel of exclusivity. Alcossebre is a lovely little town with a couple of good beaches, a marina and plenty of restaurants to choose from. All in all a fantastic place to stay and I'd have no hesitation recommending it to anyone.

Stunning Villa

Wow, were the words that came to mind when we arrived at the villa. Its is set on a hill with fabulous views down to the village and marina. There is everything that you could possible need with excellent information about where to visit. The villa is immaculate inside and very spacious. Thank you so much for a brilliant holiday! We will definately be visiting again!

Wonderful villa

This really is a wonderful villa, beautifully and quite unusually designed – it’s a special holiday home that anyone would enjoy staying at. We arrived late at night and in the dark, but felt really comfortable and at home from the moment we entered the villa. Everything was clean and tidy, and the well appointed kitchen provided all the facilities a family would need. One of the best features is the master bedroom, a really spacious room with wonderful views both from inside the room and even better from outside on the balcony. We absolutely loved this semi-circular balcony with its panoramic views of Las Fuentes, Alcossebre and the Mediterranean Sea, and perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Leading off the lounge is the other covered balcony providing some shade if needed and where we ate all our meals. Again the views are superb. The lovely private heated pool meant lots of opportunity for swimming and sunbathing in peaceful surroundings. We also really enjoyed the variety of places to eat which were within easy distance of the villa, and the great choice of cuisines. It was also really helpful to have plenty of information in the villa to help choose a restaurant or a place to visit in the surrounding area.

Excellent Villa for a family holiday

Description of the villa is very modest as this is a fabulous place to stay for a family holiday and a taste of Spain away from the masses. The property has everything you need for a lovely time, a well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, fabulous balcony with 270 degree views of the sea and the mountains and a great garden and pool. The pool is excellent, warm and bigger than it looks on the photos. The area is wonderful, las Fuentes and Alcossebre are beautiful Spanish seaside resorts, really unspoiled and with plenty of shops, restaurants etc. Do go up to the top of the hill behind the house to El Pinar and look at the amazing views. The beaches are brilliant and the sea is lovely and warm. The agents are very helpful - we had a couple of broken fans which they had fixed straight away. I would definitely recommend this Villa to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, Spanish family holiday. We would go again tomorrow!
