This property is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a private walkway to beach access. The beach access is approximately a 5 minute walk and there is a beach cart on the first floor in the closet for beach towels, chairs, and beach toys.

Our family beach home is available for your next beach vacation! Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms on three levels to accommodate your family. Complete with Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, 4 TV’s, outdoor shower, and gas grill. Also, spacious open and covered decks with furnishings. The top level features a den with a Queen Sleeper Sofa and half bath .

Reverse floor plan with open concept, living/dining on top floor (3rd level). Mid level features 3 bedrooms; one with Queen and full private bath. Enjoy the jack and jill full bath with 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twins on this level. Ground level with exterior access is Queen bed with full bath and spacious sitting area. Beach access is located at the end of the street. Bikes are a great way to get around the Island on the paved, Town wide Bike/Walking Path. Public Boat launch and dock area is just a short walk away for boating or taking in beautiful sunsets on the Sound! New decks on each level, 2017. It is time you put your feet in the sand, relax and enjoy some “Simple Pleasures”!

Please note; this is our private family beach home and we ask that only families rent or inquire about our home that are 28 years of age or older.

No Smoking! No Pets! Weekly Rental Sunday to Sunday ONLY rental during peak season.

Wonderful property,lovely hostess

We had a wonderful time here at Simple Pleasures everything was just perfect and our hostess was the best checking in with us and making sure we had everything necessary for our stay.

Beautiful house and great, quiet neighborhood! Just a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, which was very helpful since we love to cook. There was even dishwasher and laundry detergent! The owner was super responsive. We would definitely recommend!

Super comfortable stay

Nice quiet location, check-in was easy and Walton, the host, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It's a beach house - so has some normal wear and is a bit dated but is clean and comfortable! We espcially enjoyed sitting on the top balcony, listening to the waves, delighting in the breezes and just relaxing. It's an easy walk to the beach and there are many chairs provided. Beds, baths, etc are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked.

Family time at simple pleasures

We had a wonderful time. The surrounding decks were great early in the morning and late at night. The stars were incredible every night.

Nice stay!

This is a great house in a great location. Quiet neighborhood, a block and a half from the beach access. Not too far from shops and restaurants. The house itself has a great deck on each level that fully encircles the house, which is fun. The decor is definitely dated, but it’s functional. You’ll see a stray bug from time to time inside, but that’s island living!This is a great place for families with kids, since two of the bedrooms have two twin beds. My kids enjoyed it a lot. The host is very kind, and is easily reachable!

Simply Divine!

We had a great stay at Simple Pleasures. The beach cottage was just as described and more. Our host, Walton, was accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. The cottage was spacious and cosey at the same time. Overall just a great place to spend a week.

Spacious and wonderful

Quiet neighborhood, safe for kids(even though we had no kids with us). Wonderful kitchen. If cooking for a large crowd and enjoying good meals together this place was the best. Beach access close and convenient. Thoroughly great place.

The Name Fits

Simple Pleasures! We had a nice relaxing week in a quiet neighborhood. Nothing fancy but perfect family house. Great communication with the owner and easy check-in process. Approximately 5 minute walk to beach access.

Sweet lovely cozy beach home

My children and nephew and I stayed for a week this July and had just the best time here! Plenty of beds and bathrooms and the layout worked great so that we could be together or chill out on our own. We loved the wrap around porches and the cozy nooks and sitting places! The house had everything and the host is beyond hospitable! She helped us with our dates, with bike rentals and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. 10 out of 10!

Great place, great price

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simple Pleasures! The house is spacious, well-maintained, and furnished with everything that you need. We had 10 people staying there and no one felt crowded. Having 3 1/2 baths was a huge plus. The neighborhood is quiet and it's a short walk from the house to the beach. Walton is a wonderful host and kept in touch throughout the process and stay! Thank you!

We had fun despite rained out weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at Walton’s beautiful beach house, five-minutes’ walk to the beach, with room to relax on a quiet bend on the street. Even though we had five rainy days due to a stalled tropical storm, our family of six made good use of puzzles, games, a well-appointed kitchen and places to just relax. Walton is a conscientious and responsive host! Despite the challenging weather, Walton checked in to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We appreciate her so much!

I loved this property and owner!

This place was great! It was about a 3 minute walk to the public access beach, it was clean, well stocked, and a joy to stay. My friends and family had a wonderful vacation. I was in contact with the owner with some issue that arose (that where out of her control and no fault of her own) an she responded immediately and dealt with the problem. Moreover, she contacted me when I arrived to make sure I got in okay an that there were no issues. Very friendly and accommodating owner! Great place to stay in a great area. I would definitely rent this property again!

Wonderful gem for a perfect vacation

We had such a wonderful time at Simple Pleasures. The house is well appointed with a sea view, wonderful crosswind and conveniently close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood that is also close to groceries, shopping, and restaurants. It had everything we needed for our beach vacation, including beach gear! And the beach is amazing… great swimming, walking and not crowded. Gas grill was large and even included an extra gas tank. Walton was very responsive and helpful and attentive to our needs. Great experience all around. Will be back!

Great house close to the beach

This was a great house close to the beach and the sound side dock at the boat ramp. We were less than 5 minutes to the beach or could walk right across the road to the soundside fishing dock. There is a fishing cart with rod holders to haul gear to the beach or dock. Nice size rooms and anything you could need for cooking in the kitchen. Jack & Jill bathroom for the twin bed bedrooms worked out great for the kids. Bonus was you can see the ocean from the decks, was not expecting that. We’ll be back!

Simple pleasures was a great getaway

The location was fantastic, and grants you use to the neighborhood only beach access, which only has 4 steps down leading to the beach. We were able to take two laden carts to the beach, only slightly lifting when going up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need and then some. I saw a panini press, blender, toaster, toaster over, drip coffee maker, and pots and pans, including a huge pot we used to make a boil in one night. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels are brought fresh between visits.. There was some starter papertowels and TP but we brought extra. There are board games and puzzles, and a few sand toys for kids. Communication with the owner was excellent, and we felt taken care of. She even has an emergency handy man in case you need it. We had a great time enjoying the beach and we would gladly return.

Lovely stay at Simple Pleasures

Group of 8, 2 families, enjoyed a lovely week at this property. Host was thorough, helpful, and readily available. Property was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Excellent a/c kept us cool during a hot week. Close access to beautiful beach. Recommended!!

Great place near the beach

Loved the house -was comfortable and a great distance to the beach. Note that the 5th bedroom listed is actually the top floor (kitchen and living room area).

Beautiful, quiet home!
